Very basic, but has everything covered. Large onsen bath on-site. Dry rooms for equipment. Only about 60 meters from closest run, and nearly ski in/ski out. The ladies at the front desk were extremely attentive, spoke decent English, and cheerful. It has the best selection of restaurants in the area, with four in the hotel. I tried three of them, all excellent meals. Only complaint was I needed three futon cushions to make a comfortable bed, but no drama as there were several in the closet. And a fridge in the room would have been nice, but realize that is not Japan-style. I found out that by putting water bottles in the space between the double pane windows, they would get extremely cold but not freeze.

It's located right next to Ichinose Family Ski Resort, so it's easy to walk to the ski resort and ski right to the hotel on your way back. I took a bus from Nagano Station, and the Ichinose bus stop is also nearby, which is great. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and are very new and comfortable. (The TV was large, which is unusual.) The food was a buffet, so it was neither good nor bad. I would definitely stay here again when I go skiing.

Came over for some shabu shabu. Dinner was great, but a bit pricey. Nothing to shout about, but decent and a good change from the dinner at our hotel. Service was great at the restaurant, book on advance as they are full often.

A very old hotel that seriously needs some refurbishment. It provides a very basic need to people who wanted to skii. Most staff don’t speak English.

We stayed at the resort with a plan that included a lift ticket. When we arrived, we unloaded all our luggage from the trunk into the luggage storage area, and a staff member drove us to the parking lot, where they picked us up after we parked. The slopes are practically right in front of us. We received our lift ticket at the front desk in the morning, so there was no hassle. The room was a Western-style room and clean. The bath wasn't a hot spring, but it was spacious and relaxing. Dinner was a half buffet with a main dish. It was luxurious, something we rarely see these days, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was also a buffet. It was delicious. The service was polite, and we had two enjoyable days of skiing. The distance to the parking lot can be hard on the body after skiing.

Good place to stay
Excellent place to stay, the staff is super friendly and cheerful. The room we stayed in was quite large and comfortable.

For the price it is in line with what the hotel offers.

Only if some of the furniture needs updating to enjoy the stay even more.
