Very nice and warm apartment. Perfect for a weekend in Hakodate.

We stayed with a group of eight adults.
There was a large fireplace in the living room and it was a stylish space.
There's no problem if you have a car, but
it's on a slope so the nearest convenience store might be a bit far if you walk.

A relaxing place with good access
There are many rooms and toilets, so even a large group can stay comfortably.
It is located in the center of the tourist facilities, so access is excellent.
The spacious living room is also a great place to take a break when you're a little tired.
I would like to use it again.

We rented the entire house for our group of 6 adults and 2 children.
Although it was an old house, it was well-maintained, clean, and had plenty of space for the children to run around.
The veranda-like space accessible from the living room allowed us to feel the fresh air and offered a nice view.
Having several private rooms meant we could sleep separately, and the multiple bathrooms and shower rooms ensured privacy, while still allowing us to have fun together in the living room and kitchen.
We appreciated the attention to detail, such as the dishes, furniture, and even the small toys.
We enjoyed fireworks in the courtyard at night.
We would definitely like to use this house again when we visit Hakodate with our family.

A beautiful, warm, comfortable and tasteful hostel! Only a few small rooms but will meet all of your needs. A short walk from Jujigai tram station which will take you to Hakodate train station. Towels available for rent and phone charger you can borrow. Staff are very friendly and helpful, but you still have all the privacy you need. Plus there is a very nice bath! Would highly recommend.

Love the homely layout and location of small town hostel at Motomachi. makes moving around easy from the hotel. location is private and not easily seen as you need to walk down a short path to unit which is behind the street front units. it was quiet and we slept well. staff was also very friendly and explained as much as he could during check-in.

I heard that it is run by a local real estate agent, and at first I was very interested in going to events, etc.
Whether there are many friends in the sponsored shops, the inner circle is great on SNS, and it feels difficult for outsiders to enter. Even during events, I had a lot of chat with friends and acquaintances, and they didn't notice the customer service...

I feel like the city of Hakodate welcomes me every time I climb one step under the small curtain at the entrance. Warm and comfortable lighting, well-cleaned living room and rooms. Above all, the host's consideration and sense shines through to every corner of the accessories and interior. It's a small thing, but I'm glad that the bed in the dormitory has separate towel racks and hangers, and there's a mirror for adjusting your appearance! The location is also a convenient place to go out to the center of Hakodate, and it is a recommended guest house without any complaints!

Nice hostel in nice area. Very clean,cozy,sophisticated room and common area with friendly staff.Fireplace makes you comfortable.
It takes about 15min walk from JR Hakodate station or 2~3 min walk tram station.
