I stayed at this hotel on Jan and was back in March 2026. First time, booked through ***********. Second time by trip.com. Since the March was the off-peak period, i booked the premier twin room which was the most expensive and the biggest. However, trip.com automatically adjusted the number of person to 1.
Both times, we were travelling in a family of 3.
In March, when we checked in, we were told to pay 10,000 yen extra. It was 4pm, we were tired after driving down from Asahikawa. Asked for an explanation, but wasn't able to comprehend.
Given it was my second visit in 3 months, I was disappointed that the hotel wasn't able to reply appropriately or give any flexibility in that situation.
I had a good stay and thus posted a positive Google review in Jan 2026. But it was disappointing for this second visit. You may contact me for more information.

The hotel's location is truly exceptional, right in the bustling heart of the city. It's just a short walk to the famous Tanukikoji shopping arcade, making both getting around and shopping incredibly convenient. It truly makes for worry-free travel and flexible sightseeing.

What's even more delightful is that the hotel rooms are equipped with practical amenities like a washing machine and microwave, perfectly solving everyday travel dilemmas. After several days of exploring, you can easily wash and dry dirty clothes, keeping things clean and hassle-free. And if you want to quickly heat up food for a convenient meal, the microwave has you covered. These thoughtful facilities add a touch of home-like convenience and comfort to your trip.

The service and facilities met our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located near Tanukikoji and Odori Park subway station, making transportation very easy. They offer free ice cream, and the rice at the breakfast buffet was delicious.

I had a wonderful stay at Tokyu Stay Sapporo Odori. Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location is perfect — very convenient and within walking distance to shopping streets, restaurants, and public transport.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the in-room washing machine and microwave, which made the stay even more convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the room size was just nice for a relaxing stay.

Room is wide enough to accommodate my family of 2 kids 2 adults. With washing machine and cooking amenities plus soap and brushes included, its a haven for a family to get comfy and not worry about unwashed clothes.

If you ever find your shoes wet from the snow? Shoe dryer is available

Great location in a quiet spot, easy to go everywhere, just one station from Sapporo station. Hotel provides handy amenities for snowy days: there are single use and warm slippers, nice personal kettle, air humidifier/purifier, shoe dryer and private washing machine with dryer function in the room. Decoration is nice and working well, the size for Japan is OK.

The room was quite spacious, with no issues fitting our luggage. There were plenty of shopping options nearby; an Arc'teryx store was just about 200 meters from the hotel, and Tanukikoji Shopping Street was roughly the same distance. Very convenient. In the morning, it was just a 20-minute bus ride to Maruyama Park for some birdwatching.

Had the best stay in here. The room was nice and comfy, and the washer and dryer was a lifesaver. Not to mention the location was fantastic, 5mins walk and you'll get access to diff restaurants, convenice stores, Odori station, Odori park, Susukino... I can go on and on of all the good things this hotel has to offer.

Also had an issue with clogged pipes in my bathroom the 2nd night but the hotel staff Ryu was quick in action and very helpful to get it fixed (also very apologetic of the inconvenience which honestly I didn't mind)

Overall 5 star experience staying here. Will definitely stay again when I'm back in Sapporo 👍🏻
