Excellent hotel with underground connections to the Sapporo station. Rooms are quiet from the traffic perspective but you can heavy footed guests wich is a bit let down if you are a light sleeper. Another thing to nite is their main restaurant have early last orders usually 830 pm and tgey close by 9pm. Only the bar and drinking places closes later.

Excellent afternoon high tea.

The location is excellent; you can reach the hotel from Sapporo Station entirely through an underground passage.
The Japanese breakfast was good.
However, we stayed for two nights, and the hotel didn't empty our trash. Two nights' worth of rubbish piled up in our already small room... Is this a Japanese custom?

An absolutely perfect experience! This hotel, built in 1934, is nearly a century old and exudes a profound sense of history with its distinctive Japanese-Western old money charm. The lobby and public areas are understated yet sophisticated, with exquisite attention to detail. The room was impeccably maintained and felt brand new, not at all dated. Even the bathroom facilities, like the drainage and ventilation, were modern and completely odor-free. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, showcasing traditional Japanese hospitality at every turn. We were incredibly lucky to be assigned a large Hollywood Twin room in the East Wing – a spacious 40 square meters, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases and two snowboards with plenty of room to spare. A delightful surprise at night was catching a glimpse of Sapporo Tower from our window. The twinkling tower lights paired with falling snowflakes created a truly romantic scene. The breakfast was excellent, easily on par with some of the best hotel breakfasts in Hokkaido, offering everything you could want. A special shout-out to the apple pie for dessert – it was absolutely delicious! Thank you for taking such good care of us during our stay. We hope to visit again someday!

The location is superb, with direct underground connections to two stations. The service is excellent, and the winter view from the hotel room is truly unforgettable. Breakfast is delicious, and the milk is the best I’ve ever had!

Hotel's location is very convenient as it is connected to the Underground walkway. Although walking around the downtown on a snowy pavement is awesome too,using the Chika-ho is convenient when you are walking with a 23kg luggage.
Hotel is near Odōri and Susukino so Sapporo City's famous locations are very accessible.
Breakfast is so yum and even serves ice cream. Room has a drip pod coffee maker and that is amazing -- coffee at the warmth of your room.
We'd like to book the same hotel with more family members next time❤️

The hotel is good; you can access it directly from the underground, so you don't have to brave the cold outside. It's an older hotel, but overall it's still very convenient. I'd consider staying here again next time I visit; it offers great value for money.

The hotel can be accessible if you ate taking the airport bus, the bus stops right at the back of the hotel. The hotel is directly connected to the underground walkway in sapporo so you dont have to worry about heavy snow or rain. The breakfast offers a wide variety of food choices and you can choose from either the intl buffet or the traditional japanese restaurant. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Extremely close to Otaru-Chikko Station, directly accessible via a covered walkway. With an Aeon mall right downstairs, it's incredibly convenient for one-stop shopping and dining. The rooms are quite spacious for Japanese standards, and the facilities are very well-maintained. The mountain view rooms also offer pleasant scenery. Service was decent, and it provides excellent value for money.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its excellent location. It's incredibly convenient to get everywhere, especially to the JR station which you can reach directly via an underground passage.
