Hotel Route-Inn Sapporo Ekimae Kitaguchi in Sapporo

I think this is my best hotel because located near all public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. All the reception staff , housekeepers were very lovely. Every time I come here, I am very happy.

The room was clean and the front desk service was excellent. As a solo traveler with limited language skills, they were incredibly thoughtful and patient, even using translation software and writing down important information for me. Unlike other budget hotels, this one offers daily cleaning. Although the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was delicious, and eating while gazing at Sapporo blanketed in snow outside the window was incredibly romantic. Most notably, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. It's just across the street from JR Sapporo North Exit, making it ideal for self-guided JR tours the next day or joining a tour to Asahikawa. (All Hokkaido tours gather right at the FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, which was simply perfect!)

Staff are friendly, there is public onsen, but luggage storage only till 12pm, it will be better if can extend till later time. Location is excellent, sapporo station is just across the street

The location is absolutely excellent. From Sapporo JR Station, you'll need to head towards the West Exit due to ongoing exterior maintenance, though the signs might point to the North Exit/Hokkaido University direction. If you take the correct exit, it's practically a stone's throw away – less than 50 meters and just across the street. The hotel itself is a bit on the older side, but it's well-maintained. The rooms aren't huge, but there's enough space to open a large suitcase, and all the usual amenities are provided. The shower water gets incredibly hot, and the breakfast selection is quite varied with great quality ingredients. The front desk staff are generally very friendly and helpful; they'll do their best to resolve any issues if you communicate clearly. I particularly liked one chubby, adorable female staff member at the front desk. When the air conditioning in my room wasn't warm enough, she came to help, and even though they couldn't fix it on the spot, they provided a space heater, which was very thoughtful. Plus, there's a FamilyMart convenience store right outside the hotel to the left, and a Yodobashi camera store to the right at the intersection. The building to the left also houses several restaurants on multiple floors. If you cross through JR Station, you'll find Daimaru department store and another shopping mall, with a drugstore on the basement level. It's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere and serves as a fantastic base for exploring the area.

It’s not making a lot of sense they could only store your luggage for 2 hours

Near station sapporo

The hotel is clean and very new. It is very close to Chitose Station which is very good for me as I can go to the airport in the morning without rushing. There is an onsen and the lounge provides nice coffee in the morning.

Really great breakfast. Close to station and fun shops. At first I was given a smoking room, but they were quick to switch me to nonsmoking. Receptionists spoke English well.

The room was okay typical Japanese and close to JR Sapporo Station North Gate

The size is perfect for one person, but it's too narrow to accommodate medium-sized luggage. I had to place the open luggage on the floor, which made it quite difficult to walk around.
