The location is both an advantage and a drawback. On the positive side, the hotel is centrally situated, close to nightlife and shopping areas. However, the immediate surroundings feel crowded and not very clean
Great location. Services with friend and room is cleasiness.Have a space for easy dinning and free drinking&snack.
Ideal location for foodies and shoppers! The location offers a safe and convenient environment with eateries, cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and souvenir shops just a stone’s throw away
The hotel side door connects directly to Block 5 of Tanukikoji Shopping Street. It’s also near enough (within 1. 5km) to walk to the Nijo fish market, Odori Park and Sapporo JR station
They offer heating pads upon arrival to the hotel during the midnight 1am. Third, the rooms are clean and well organised, the layout makes sense and the toilets are the best
Room was rather clean, however the room was kinda small for 3 +1 family. Nonetheless the location was fantastic.

Hotel service: Excellent! We arrived before check-in time, but the lobby staff were incredibly friendly and politely stored our luggage. When we returned, our bags were already in the room. Thumbs up! 👍
The front desk service was excellent; they thoughtfully explained everything about the hotel. The hotel breakfast can also be exchanged for a fish market breakfast – just confirm with the front desk
One gentleman at the front desk was incredibly warm and polite, always greeting us when we came and went, and very friendly at checkout, even giving us a thank you card and a lavender origami crane
They were very helpful, asking about our preferred departure time and confirming our return time with the driver. You can also ask the front desk for a set of four hotel facial creams
This hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station. Hokkaido's Former Government Building is right across the street, and Hokkaido University is a short walk behind the hotel
The location is quite convenient, not far from the JR station's south exit, and close to the Hokkaido Government Office. I even caught a police band performance while walking by

JR - Japan Rail has started to open hotels which they call inns and they're all centrally located in city centers. This particular branch is one of two that's near each other but this is the branch closer to Odori park
This JR Inn is quite near JR Sapporo Station, walking distance around 5-10min, but walk to the main shopping street is a bit far though still quite ok to walk. Hotel is very clean & bed is comfortable too.
It was very convenient from the staion and bus terminal. Also a lot of nearby attraction like odori park, sapporo clock tower, and others. The room is spacious for a typical japanese hotel.
The hotel is about 500 meters from JR Sapporo Station, and overall it's pretty good and clean. However, my window faced a wall, and the room didn't seem to have a fresh air system
Everything was great overall, but the hotel breakfast only offered two set options, which was a bit basic.
JR INN Sapporo Kita2jo was a delightful discovery on my journey to Sapporo
Sapporo, 10 Kita 3-jo Nishi 1-chome, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
More of a hot water public bath but it was fun and relaxing nonetheless. They have a library of popular manga in Japanese. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed
Excellent stay! The hotel is convenient and easy to access, with great transportation links. It's also very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, even bowing
Very close to the bus stop for buses arriving from Chitose airport and noboribetsu. Staff were friendly and helpful. Onsen was nice, although I don’t think it’s mineral onsen water
There's a large public bath and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) on the basement level. It's super convenient for getting to the JR station and exploring Aomori at night
I liked the environmentally friendly option of travellers donating items they no longer want/need to reception who will help to donate it to welfare groups
Pillow bar unfortunately didn’t really have any stock of pillows to choose from so was a bit redundant

Having learnt from that experience, I checked this room carefully upon arrival and was relieved to find everything well maintained. Mitsui Garden did a great job with the room setup, and everything felt clean and safe
Location: From Exit S1 of Apia Underground Shopping Street, it's just two traffic lights away, about a two to three-minute walk on the surface
Service: My child wanted to take a bath, but the cleaning staff had already left for the day. A handsome guy with big eyes at the front desk re-cleaned the bathtub for us
The room was very clean. Toiletries and skincare products are available downstairs. The convenience store is very close to the hotel, less than 100 meters away. It's also not far from the TV Tower and the Big Buddha.
The rooms are compact but neat and clean, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. You can walk to attractions like the Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, the Clock Tower, and Odori Park
Service: The hotel staff provided excellent service, always going above and beyond to meet our needs. Thumbs up! 👍
Cleanliness: The room was spotless and well-maintained

The central heating in the room was very effective and cozy! The shower pressure was also excellent, genuinely good! I'm planning to come back next year for a month to see the snow! This is my top choice for staying in Sapporo
The service is unbelievably good! The front desk provides a free bottle of water per person each day, and you can grab toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, facial cleanser, lotion, combs, earplugs, coffee, and more from the first floor
This hotel is conveniently located just a five or six-minute walk from Sapporo Station, right next to Yodobashi Camera, which is great for shopping. There are also some delicious soup curry restaurants nearby
We stayed in a compact twin room where we couldn't fully open our suitcases at the same time, but considering the room rate, it was acceptable. Staying at Keihan always feels small but cozy
The hotel facilities are excellent, and the room was very spacious. Even with three of us and our luggage open, there was still plenty of room to move around. Breakfast was also very good
There's also a free public bath on the second floor – perfect for a relaxing soak after skiing. It's directly across from Yodobashi, and there's a McDonald's and convenience store nearby
Sapporo, 6 Chome-4-1 Minami 2 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great stay, comfortable hotel and very pleasant amenities. The only annoyance até those HK tourists, very annoying misbehaving and speaking super loud and not following the onsen protocols, rushing for a spot in the tub
After a full day of shopping nearby, it was great to come back to the hotel for a wonderful hot spring bath, then enjoy a free 15-minute massage on the massage chair, and finish off the day with some complimentary late-night ramen
Washing machine is free and right outside the onsen, just need to pay for the dryer. Microwave oven is available at level 2 and 6. There is complementary icecream and yoghurt depends on timing, can eat after onsen
We always stay in Dormy inn if we travel to Japan. We love the onsen, the free ice cream , and yummy ramen as supper every night. Hotel breakfast is amazing, definitely worth the price you paid
Hotel is in an awesome location right smack in the middle of li xiao lu no. covered walkway and 5minutes walk to Poletown underground. Onsen is convenient, massage is good
The hotel room was a bit small, but the hot spring was fantastic. The location right in Tanukikoji 6 was super convenient
Sapporo, 6 Chome-3-1 Kita 1 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Great value for money, and super convenient with the tram directly accessible! The room environment is also excellent, very clean, and the staff are all very friendly
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sapporo!
Polite and English speaking front desk staff.
Spacious room comparing to other hotels in Japan.
Renovation needed.
Nice restaurants inside hotel, lunch offer in good value. Attentive waiting staff in restaurant.
Overall, no major issues, and the service attitude was very polite. Thank you for arranging the room. However, I'd like to highlight some hygiene concerns:
1. There was a drop of urine stain on the toilet seat
The location is decent, not on the main road so it's relatively quiet. There's an underground passage to Sapporo Station, so if you want to avoid the wind and sun, you might consider a hotel even closer
I disinfected it myself with an alcohol wipe. Although the bath towels looked new, I noticed some dust and stains on them. Many hotels have this problem: the headboard is never wiped down
Sapporo, 6 Chome-1 Kita 5 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Note that this hotel is NOT connected to the station. Amenities are to be taken from the first floor. Room has one window but since it's very close to the tracks, they have a thick sliding door to block out the sound
This hotel is super close to the JR station exit, making the location really convenient. The room isn't huge, but it's incredibly well-designed. I was able to open both a 24-inch and a 30-inch suitcase comfortably
There are many restaurants near the hotel, including yakitori, yakiniku, and ramen. The service is also excellent. The front desk staff are very friendly and will generally greet you when you come and go
There are several convenience stores and a post office nearby, and it's close to Hokkaido University. However, if you want to go to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, it might be a bit far, about a 1km walk
They also offer a daily breakfast (free), and while the selection isn't huge, it's enough to eat, especially since it's complimentary. The room is a bit small, but most hotels in Japan are
Highly recommended, highly recommended!
First, let's talk about the location. This hotel is quite close to the JR station, about a 10-minute walk

The Hotel was kind enough to send my phone forgotten in the room with a courier service. Train station is within 5-7 mins walking distance and it is convenient to explore Sapporo from here
We enjoyed our stay there in the family room for family of 4. Spacious, clean and well maintained bathroom. I had sound sleep with the bed provided
The room itself was quite spacious for 4 men and the bathroom was huge and well done. The location is definitely above average, 10 minute walk to the nearest Nambuku Line Station and under 15 to Susukino
Location need to walk 20 mins to susukino pole town. Front line service need to improve. Not so friendly. Room nice, clean and comfortable
Room was very clean.
Room is also very big with ample space to place luggage as well.
Hotel was at a good location. Walkable distance to nearby subway station and to susukino where all the shops are.

Very nice location, very near key places. Adjacent to the hotel is the shopping street, including the 24-hour Don Quijote with just around 50 meter distance, so you can shop late night or early morning
The only thing we found a bit unusual was that the bathroom was located at the very back of the room instead of near the entrance. Every evening, adults received a complimentary beer
Our family booked a non-smoking quadruple room for 2 nights. It had one large bed and two single beds, and the space was sufficient
The hotel is conveniently located right off a pedestrian street, just past the restaurant, and there's a drugstore nearby, which was great for shopping. The hotel breakfast was decent too
Will stay here again on next visit,
Guys , this hotel is super convenient location! You can enjoy free beer daily every night! The pork bowl rice served during breakfast is so yummy

A business hotel that acted as a very central base to rest after eating and exploring Sapporo for day. clean room with a washing machine inside which was a god send after a week spent travelling.
Always loved to having a washing machine in the room, keep my clothes clean during my trip. A reservation at TokyuStay hotel series is a must!
Great stay at Tokyu Stay Sapporo. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and having a washing machine in the room was very convenient
Facilities: Excellent, the in-room washing machine was super useful and even came with detergent. Cleanliness: As always, Japanese hotels are impeccably clean. Environment: The hotel is very well-maintained
Excellent hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms aren't huge, but they have everything you need. They offer a complimentary welcome drink every day
The room was great! I was a bit worried about Japanese hotel rooms being too small, but this one was perfect and very comfortable throughout our stay
Sapporo, Minami 5 jo Nishi 7 Cho me Chuo ku 064, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are tiny but the service and facilities are excellent. The rooftop onsen is wonderful especially in winter if you can brave the cold and claim flights of stairs up
There is also a selection of onsen pools that exceeds expectation given that the space is small. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hokkaido
Very nice rooms, fantastic staff. The onsen is great.
Good price with a hot spring, the location isn't the most convenient but still within a 10 mins walk to the bus/train stops we needed to use. The rooms looked a little bit outdated but have all you'd need
Modest accomodations. Great service. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Great outdoor onsen with one big pool and two individual tubs. Iron rich mineral bath inside and outside. Water is as hot as Beppu.
Pillows in room were a little hard with some sort of grain in them (may have good postural pillows, though) BUT there is a pillow menu in the hotel lobby if you wish to change your pillows
Sapporo, Gardens Cabin, 4 Chome-4-1 Minami 1 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I was sitting at the counter next to the front desk for a few minutes waiting for someone, and then a middle-aged lady from the front desk specifically came over to tell me that after checking out, I wasn't allowed to sit in any of the public areas
However, my room key, which was in its holder, went missing from my bed! When I went to check out after freshening up, I found the key holder empty. I retraced my steps for dozens of meters, but couldn't find it anywhere
Fantastic location in Hokkaido near absolutely everything. Onsen is extremely good and rates are an excellent deal for solo travelers. Highly recommended for short stay. Staff is very nice and very pleasant stay
Best capsule hostel ever. The cabin was standalone, meaning that it is not stacked. The public bath was great. The only drawback is that the storage space under the bed is too small for most medium luggages.
All you need for a overnight stay. Best location with 711 right at the entrance. The rest is just the middle of the tourist district. Bath house is large and clean and opens until 2 am
I strongly suspect someone stole it when I went to freshen up and didn't close my curtain. Even though I've stayed in many hostels, I've never had anything stolen before

We stayed in a standard triple room for a night on 29 July out of 5 hotels in Hokkaido that we had pre-booked and we all agreed that this is the best value hotel which we should have stayed longer instead of switching to another hotel (where room price was double) at the Tanuki Koji shopping arcade after our return from Furano
The bathroom was big by Japan standard, layout was very thoughtful with the entrance to the vanity wash basin area and 2 separate doors on each side to the bath and toilet. Wifi was ok and air conditioning is good
Location is about 10+ mins walk from Susukino train station and the Tanuki Koji shopping arcade is about 5+ mins walk. Convenience store; 7 eleven is just next door and Lawson is a short walk across the road
Great hotel, not to far from subway around 10minutes walk. And lawson just few step away. The room is kinda big for japan hotel. Gor 5 single bed for 5 people. The bathroom also have 3 seperate room
We like this hotel for the following:- Room was clean, large and spacious, bed comfortable and cleaned. There’s even a balcony size separate sitting area which was really nice additional space
Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good for the price. The spread and variety were sufficient and taste good
Sapporo, 4 Chome-4-10 Minami 9 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
However we saw they provided free milk for guess in the fridge but we have never got it for 3 nights
Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so I couldn't switch immediately
The room size is decent, but the facilities are a bit old and there's a slight odor. The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven and a subway station nearby. It's a short walk to drag luggage through the snow.
The room had no windows and no air conditioning, only central heating that couldn't be switched to a cooling or ventilation mode. We were baking every day and woke up extremely dry
Extremely satisfied with this stay. I accidentally booked a smoking room, and since I don't smoke at all, I'm quite sensitive to the smell of smoke. I asked the front desk to help me switch to a non-smoking room
The service was excellent, and the breakfast and the complimentary parfait delivered in the evening were delicious. It's also very close to the station.

Great place to stay in the center of suskino. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy cheap place to stay in Sapporo.
Set back is it is rather dated, and rooms are small, in particular the bathroom, which is only slightly bigger than a 6 foot table!
Hotel is conveniently located 200m from the airport limo bus stop. Lots of eateries, shopping and entertainment at its door step
perfect location , kindness stuff
In terms of of foods, there are small alley that sell ramens also good choice when you visit Sapporo. Hotel give basic amenities room are quite small but clean
Hotel in a very good location especially if you want to travel by bus to Chitose Airport, just 3 minutes walk to bus stop

Great central location, very convenient for getting around. However, the room furnishings are a bit outdated.
The place was very neat and clean. It was situated conveniently near the station so transportation with Sapporo was very easy. There were a lot of good food around jt too and above all, the staff were very accommodating.
The room was clean and tidy, perfectly fine for a solo traveler. The breakfast was quite good; even though the dishes were the same every day, they tasted great and offered excellent value for money
The hotel is a bit of a walk from Susukino Subway Station Exit 4, but there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, so the location is decent. The front desk staff spoke good English
Clean easy and convenient. A bit aged and a bit of city noise. Its close to the shopping district and lots of restaurants around. Room is typical Japanese size.
The hotel had already turned off the air conditioning in early October, so we had to open the window, but it was very windy outside in the middle of the night

Susuki and Odori are 15 min on foot away. Breakfast is good, has several options and curry soup (local dish)
Single room was tiny, but really clean and had everything needed (fridge, hangers, kettle, etc
)
But don't ask for a room near the elevator if you are not a good sleeper. It really IS next door to it so you can hear some operation noise. But i was never bothered by it and slept really well
Excellent location, right across from Hokkaido University's main gate, making transportation very convenient. The breakfast selection was quite comprehensive, and luggage storage is available
The room is very clean, but it kinda small. Nevertheless, that is the norm in japan small room, so I'm happy with the room I got. The receptionists are very friendly and easy to talk to
The hotel is very close to Sapporo Station and directly opposite Hokkaido University, making it super convenient for transportation and exploring the area.
The breakfast that come with the stay also lovely, they even have containers for you to pack and take out if you are too busy to sit for the breakfast
