Besides, for enjoying snowfall, the location is just perfect
Located in the southern district, a car is definitely essential for getting around. It's a bit far from the city center, but if you have a car, there are plenty of restaurants nearby
location a bit far from town , free parking lot , staff was good , hotel breakfast nice
This place is definitely not suited for solo travel or trips with friends; book a hotel in the city center instead. It's our fault; usually, Aparthotels are always well-located
This is the third time we stayed at this hotel. It is indeed a bit far from downtown, but there are several supermarkets and restaurants nearby. There is even a foodcourt in Aeon
Overpriced for location and had to pay extra for tattoo patches despite being there 5 nights!! We were given JUST two for free
Sapporo, Nishi 11-chome, Minami 2-jo, Chuo-ku Sapporo (in the centre) 🧭 Map
5hrs but overall location average. Convenient store right opposite, near to odori park and 10min to underground. A few eateries towards the town centre. Good breakfast and excellent service
So comfy and hotel just so clean, as my requested they adjusted my room near by elevator.. of course i will stay here again if i come to Sapporo ☺️
Located at the end of Tanukikoji, it's quite convenient for shopping. The triple room was a bit cramped. The best part: the hotel offers a free shuttle to Sapporo Station, which needs to be booked in advance
Everything about this hotel was fantastic! The location is very convenient, with a tram stop and a convenience store just nearby
The room was very tidy and clean, and the breakfast was abundant. It's 1.5 km from Sapporo Station, a 15-minute walk to Sapporo Station and Daimaru Department Store, making shopping very convenient.
The hotel's breakfast is a buffet and it's quite delicious, especially the generous portions of salmon – I really enjoyed it. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sapporo
Sapporo, 5-1, Nishi, Minami 4 Jo, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Sapporo city center. The subway and bus stops are right outside the door, making it super convenient. You can pretty much walk to all the city's attractions
The location is absolutely perfect, making it super convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The front desk staff were very friendly too
Best location Becos it’s only 2 mins walk from Susukono station, 50 m away from the famous Nikka whisky sign. Plenty of foods, pub n shopping around the area
Rooms was bit old, cleanliness so so but if you are looking for a perfect location to stay in Sapporo, Tokyo Rei might be your choice
Great location! It's just a stone's throw from the subway exit, and there's an airport bus stop right across the street. Plus, there's a mall nearby, the Tanukikoji shopping arcade, and plenty of nightlife options
I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location is very close to city center , making it very convenient to get around. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, providing a comfortable stay
Sapporo, 5-5-25 Atsubetsuchuo 2jo (10 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Except the location is a little bit far away from central downtown, everything is perfect for me,good service ,huge space for one pepole and the room is quite clean, will come next time if I back to Sapporo again.
The location is super convenient, just 100 meters from JR Shin-Sapporo Station. (Personally, I find Shin-Sapporo Station even more convenient than Sapporo Station – fewer people, quicker to get in
The hotel is located between New Chitose Airport and Sapporo city center. It takes about half an hour to reach Sapporo. If you're looking to shop, staying in Sapporo is more convenient
Location is pretty good. 1 stop from city. Right at the train station with a few malls right beside.
I will definitely come back again for the convenience of location and the great breakfast
Amazing breakfast with a great view. The microwave is downstairs next the reception. The spa(onsen) is not free, u need to pay ¥1300 but very clean and well looked after by the staffs so it is worth it for sure
Sapporo, North 1, West 4, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is excellent; you can reach the hotel from Sapporo Station entirely through an underground passage. The Japanese breakfast was good. However, we stayed for two nights, and the hotel didn't empty our trash
The lobby and public areas are understated yet sophisticated, with exquisite attention to detail. The room was impeccably maintained and felt brand new, not at all dated
Even the bathroom facilities, like the drainage and ventilation, were modern and completely odor-free. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, showcasing traditional Japanese hospitality at every turn
We were incredibly lucky to be assigned a large Hollywood Twin room in the East Wing – a spacious 40 square meters, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases and two snowboards with plenty of room to spare
An absolutely perfect experience! This hotel, built in 1934, is nearly a century old and exudes a profound sense of history with its distinctive Japanese-Western old money charm
A special shout-out to the apple pie for dessert – it was absolutely delicious! Thank you for taking such good care of us during our stay. We hope to visit again someday!
Sapporo, 2-1 North 5 West 7,Chuou-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Stayed here for 3 nights and overall had a really positive experience. The location is super convenient, about a 5-minute walk to both the train station and MTR, which made getting around effortless
The hotel is conveniently located near Sapporo Station, making access easy. All staff were friendly, welcoming, and able to communicate in English, which made my stay even more comfortable
It was spotlessly clean and tidy, and there was still plenty of floor space even after we opened two large suitcases (something that’s almost impossible in most other compact hotels in Japan)
There are plenty of convenience stores right nearby. The hotel has a nice quiet vibe, which was perfect after busy days out exploring. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay
The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of selections, with most ingredients sourced from Japan and Hokkaido. I especially appreciated the unique option of sparkling wine in the morning
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit
Sapporo, 4 Kita 4 Jonishi Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is excellent, right across from the south exit. If you're familiar with the area, you can use the underground passage, which is especially convenient during heavy snowfall in Hokkaido
I felt so spoiled! I highly recommend the Gracery to anyone visiting Sapporo. It has an amazing location and is very comforting to come home to after a day in the city
Best location ever. It is connected directly to the JR station and no need to carry luggage and walk outside. The room is tidy and comfortable. Worthy the price.
This hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the JR station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. The facilities are excellent, and the service is very attentive. I highly recommend it to everyone
The hotel is super convenient, directly accessible from the JR train station via an underground passage. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the transportation is excellent.
The hotel’s location is the reason that I booked for my stay in Sapporo. It is opposite the JR Sapporo Station and airport limousine bus stop is right in front of the hotel
Sapporo, 10-1,Minami 2 Nishi 7 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The bed and amenities were good enough but the carpet was hideous. The location is very comfortable and you can walk anywhere in the downtown
There's a spa/onsen and I enjoyed it. I love the beddings, they made me sleep like a baby!
Location is good, walking to
SAPPORO TANUKIKOJI SHOPPING STREET only takes a few minutes
This hotel is quite outdated. Room isn’t very clean...doesn’t feel very comfortable.
Well, location is great. That is about it.
I used the spa(public hot bath, and also open air public bath), and i really like the temperatures, vibes and facilities inside
Room was also very clean and tidy
I love this place, tried the breakfast on the last day of my stay. Foods variety was good enough
APA is very reasonably organized and well managed , providing all the necessities to travellers. I booked a bigger room and as usual it is clean and thoughtfully designed. It's a bright room with enough lights
Sapporo, 1-2-9 Kita 3 Jonishi, Chuo Ward (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Decent stay at Ana. Hotel is quite dated, the rooms smaller than expected. Highlight is the breakfast. Location is reasonably convenient.
I vividly recall our check-in experience: we were supposed to check in at 12:00 PM, but due to a massive snowstorm, we were stranded at the airport right after landing and couldn't get to the hotel until 3:00 AM
However, the hygiene, service, and environment were all excellent. It's also super convenient for dining, shopping, and taking the subway. There's a duty-free shop right downstairs from the hotel, which was very handy
Other than that, the location and transportation are quite convenient, and there are restaurants within walking distance. However, if it's snowing, don't even try to walk – just call a taxi
The sidewalks around here are perpetually covered in snow and ice, making it impossible to wheel a suitcase
The room was very clean, a bit small, but we could open and place both of our suitcases. For breakfast, there were both Japanese and Western options available, and we tried both – they were pretty good
Sapporo, 4-2-2, Kita 7jo-nishi, Kita-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Most notably, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect. It's just across the street from JR Sapporo North Exit, making it ideal for self-guided JR tours the next day or joining a tour to Asahikawa
The location is absolutely excellent. From Sapporo JR Station, you'll need to head towards the West Exit due to ongoing exterior maintenance, though the signs might point to the North Exit/Hokkaido University direction
The front desk staff are generally very friendly and helpful; they'll do their best to resolve any issues if you communicate clearly. I particularly liked one chubby, adorable female staff member at the front desk
I think this is my best hotel because located near all public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. All the reception staff , housekeepers were very lovely
Staff are friendly, there is public onsen, but luggage storage only till 12pm, it will be better if can extend till later time. Location is excellent, sapporo station is just across the street
Unlike other budget hotels, this one offers daily cleaning. Although the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was delicious, and eating while gazing at Sapporo blanketed in snow outside the window was incredibly romantic
Sapporo, 5-420, Nishi, Minami 8 Jo (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was spacious, easily accommodating three large suitcases even with three beds, which was very comfortable. The hotel's breakfast spread was excellent, and its location was superb
The hotel has a great view, though the facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast options aren't extensive, but it's very clean and quiet. Overall, it's good, and the location is excellent
This time, I was on a high floor with a great view, and the room was bigger than last time, even with a large sofa. I dropped off my luggage around 8 AM and was able to check in early when I returned after 12 PM
The room is relatively spacious, and there's a Lawson convenience store right outside, which is very convenient. The hotel's shuttle bus goes directly to JR North Exit, which is a great bonus. Overall, it's really good!
However, it seems the decor is a bit dated, as the bathroom fixtures felt like they were from the last century. On the plus side, the hotel offers a scheduled shuttle bus service to Sapporo Station!
The hotel boasts an amazing view, offering a stunning panoramic of Sapporo's snowy nightscape. The room size and space were also quite generous, which is a rarity for hotels in Japan
Sapporo, Chuo-ku Kita5, Chuo, 060-0005 Sapporo, Hokkaydo, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is perfect if you don't want to walk far from Sapporo station and you need to leave early for the airport. Just a few minutes beside Stellar Place mall. Check in is strict as with all hotels in Japan at 3pm
I got the room at level 34 facing north side of Sapporo and it was breathtaking. I booked 2 rooms and the staff was kind enough to accomodate my request for the rooms to be nearby. We got rooms next to each other
It was initially full booked and once I saw rooms available at the last minute, I took it. Amenities are complete with both body and skincare products too. Breakfast was add on and we chose western cuisine
There were varieties but not that amazing. But the 360 view at the 35th floor restaurant is worth checking out
Great location, just beside JR Sapporo station with lots of underground shops and connected to malls. 2 subway lines here as well. Staffs are very courteous and greet everyone. Perfect service and location.
The location is superb, right above the JR station, so you don't have to drag your luggage through the snow. There's a shopping mall downstairs, which is convenient for shopping
Sapporo, 5-13-1 Minamigojo-nishi, Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The location is fantastic, and it's very clean. The breakfast was delicious, a pure Japanese style. The onsen (hot spring bath) was also very clean and I really enjoyed it
Great value in a good location! My only complaint is that there's not enough washing machines for everyone. The lone machine in the ladies' bath was always occupied
Comfy hotel but not much of a view if you're on the wrong side. Breakfast was hearty and added good value to the overall cost of staying here
The location is a bit of walk if you’re using the airport bus from the stop (about 8-10 mins) but it was close to the Susukino main area so it was convenient. Overall good value for money stay
Location is awesome and having its own car park albeit having to pay ¥1500 was a huge plus. Water pressure in the bathroom was awesome
Good budget hotel in the central of city, room bigger than other budget hotel, convenient location for shopping and night life
Sapporo, 1 Chome-4-3 Kita 6 Jonishi, rayon Kita, 060-0806 Sapporo, Hokkaydo, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel was absolutely wonderful! First off, the location is unbeatable – super close to Sapporo JR Station, which made it incredibly convenient for meeting up with day tours, heading to the airport, or taking the JR to Otaru
This hotel room offers a clean and suitable environment for one person. Located near Sapporo Station, it provides easy access to New Chitose Airport and the subway system
Water and ice dispenser are also available. I like that their washing machine and dryer are available 24hrs for a small fee. I especially like the location of the hotel which is close to the main station and bus center
Good location.
Bathroom is small.
TV has Youtube.
Elevators are always overloaded during checkout time. We've been waiting for 5 rounds still no chance to get in then given up and use staircase instead.
My first choice in Sapporo. A good location and a nice price.
Although they stated cleaning would be done every three to four days, the staff actually came daily to empty the trash, make the bed, and replenish toiletries, which was incredibly convenient
Sapporo, 5-1-2 Kita 4 Jo Nishi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is located conveniently near Sapporo Station. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast spread was superb, love the view from the restaurant. Service at the breakfast was also fantastic.
The hotel had a beautiful scenery and good location. The staff were helpful and fluent in English. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient
The location is flawless—easily accessible from Exit 8 or 10 of the Sapporo Underground Walkway, which connects directly to the Namboku Line Sapporo Station
Hotel is conveniently located within few minutes away from sapporo station & within walking distance from several attractions & shopping districts
Bed and pillows are very comfortable! Just that the room given to us is not facing any nice view… Location is near the station but recommend to take cab if walking with luggage during winter
Great location, big room and open air public bath during winter is amazing

These details make even the chilliest day feel exceptionally warm. **Unique Experiences**: Some hotels also incorporate their unique features, offering snow-view rooms, hot springs in the snow, and other amenities
The location is really convenient, with a convenience store right across from the hotel, which makes shopping easy
**Thoughtful Service**: Many hotels also offer heartwarming services to enhance the experience, such as a complimentary cup of hot ginger tea to ward off the cold or reminders for guests to dress warmly
Whether it's watching snowflakes drift down outside the window or enjoying the contrast of the warm indoors against the icy outdoors, it creates a poetic and tranquil atmosphere
This allows guests to fully relax after activities and enjoy the fun of a winter wonderland getaway
Even though the decor is a bit old-fashioned, the room was spacious, and so was the bathroom – both very clean. The service was excellent, and the hotel breakfast was a highlight, with a wide variety of tasty options
Sapporo, 4 Chyome 11-1, Kita 8 Jonishi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is in a great location. The convenience store was just at opposite of the road. The staffs were friendly and the room was clean. It's only a 5-minute walk to Sapporo Station, which has a shopping mall
However, for 3 people, it did feel a little bit small. Unfortunately, the breakfast restaurant was closed for upgrade for a month, so we only had the chance to enjoy it once
Very clean
Public bathroom is great
Struggle to deposit my luggage, I have to use locker at second floor, must be lift up my 25 kg luggage to second stall of locker
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, then left our luggage here while we spent a night at a hot spring hotel in Noboribetsu, before returning for another 2 nights
The hotel is within 10 minutes walk from Sapporo JR station and 3 minutes walk from Hokkaido University so the location is very convenient. The room size is generous and it has a public bath on the 2nd floor
Cleanliness: Multiple cleaning options are provided, and the service is very thorough. Location: It's also very convenient, just a 5-8 minute walk from JR Sapporo Station

Modern classic hotel with high class interior design. Attentive staff who tried to communicate using the translator device
Room is spacious, convenient location, within walking distance to 大丸 and 三越。I enjoy my stay
The room was a bit small, but the bed was super comfy – I pretty much slept like a log every night. They also have a hot spring, and the breakfast was really good with lots of options
Location-wise, it's very convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Exit 22. Plus, it's really close to Odori Park
The hotel staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the guy at the front desk was really handsome! The breakfast was delicious too, especially the Hokkaido potatoes 😋
This hotel is excellent. The location is very convenient with great access to public transport, and there are plenty of useful facilities in the surrounding area.

Great location in Susukino, close to restaurants and transport. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable
The hotel is conveniently located near Susukino Station, making transportation and shopping a breeze. On the first floor, there's a free self-service beverage and coffee machine available from afternoon until midnight
Central location, some walking distance needed for station or attraction. Overrated breakfast, the fresh seafood provided just 3 or 4 type with everyday the same, I really regret to book it 3 days
Love everything about the hotel. Good location around susukino. Hot drinks to take your chills off all days. They even have toys on rent for my little one. I will choose you again and again
The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the subway station and Tanukikoji shopping street. The airport bus stop is also nearby, which is a huge plus! 👍
After soaking in the hot springs, free ice pops are provided (the white ones are especially delicious). But most importantly, definitely book the breakfast; you can eat your fill of the seafood buffet!
Convenient location and very spacious rooms for Japn standards. Rooms are clean and comfortable and offer a great nights rest. Overall recommend for a stay in Sapporo city!
A great central location. Perfect for the Snow Festival. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent gym. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend.
Lobby located on the first floor and it looks like a budget hotel reception and lobby. I thought Mercure is an international chain so I expect better. Room size is pretty small but still acceptable
Great location, excellent value for money.
Bathroom is small so basically I sit down to take my bath. The best thing of this hotel is the location. Located in Susukino and very near to subway stations and the Nikka instagrammable location
The location is very convenient, just a few mins walk from both Susukino and Hosui-Susukino subway station. The room was clean too and reasonably sized. The staff of the front desk was very friendly and helpful too!
