Location is good. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Room is not tidy daily. Breakfast is cold

Has an elevator car parking space, not free, snow wont be a problem.

Not many car parking spots available. The recommended parking is a little far away. Rooms are small but that's normal for s business hotel in Japan. We were traveling with our family but we didn't spend to much time here

Good Points - The staff were polite and friendly. - Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. - All rooms have amenities like humidifiers, air purifiers, and washlets, but I didn't use them

One of the secret weapons of Sapporo! I was so happy to find Hamilton. If you are a gamer, you have to come here

Concerns - The building and rooms are a bit old, giving it a strong "old-fashioned business hotel" feel. - The bathroom (bathtub) is small, and the amenities are not the latest

- Parking is limited to the first four cars, so drivers should be aware of this. - The location is near a quiet residential area, so it feels a bit of a walk from the main street and the center of Susukino

Centrally located - walking distance to shopping, restaurants and subway. English spoken at front desk but not throughout property. Large onsen ♨ (hot spring/bathing facility) on property

The only downside was that there was no hotel guide in the room, and the instructions for things like adjusting the room temperature were in small letters that were hard to read

I think it's very good because it's always safe and reliable♪ The parking information is especially smooth and easy even in winter🌸anytime〜 I'm very satisfied, I'm very satisfied🌸 The bath is even better🌸 If you're staying in Sapporo, I definitely recommend this place♪

The hot spring facilities are great for soothing your tired body. The downtown area is within walking distance, so it's very convenient.

We went during the Snow Festival, so the price was higher due to the period, but the facilities were clean and it was very comfortable.

There is a girl named Ri Gao at the front desk who provides excellent service. The other two girls are either unfamiliar with the business or have a hard attitude

Although the room is a bit small, the two 1. 4-meter beds in the double room are comfortable to sleep in. Although the breakfast is the same, the quality is good

It is a ten-minute walk from Exit 4 of the North-South Line of the subway, which is quite convenient

This hotel is within walking distance of Sapporo Station. There is also the Sapporo Clock Tower nearby. The facilities are old, but there is no problem if you are just staying overnight

You will have plenty of options to choose hotel nearby sapporo station or odori station. Both location is strategic. My piece of advise is to choose within 100-200m from the nearby station to those like to walk.

Firstly, this is my second time for me to stay in this hotel, the location is not far from JR Sapporo and convenient store. The room is ok as standard Japanese hotel. Secondly, the breakfast is really good

And the breakfast buffet is amazing! They serve seafood bowls and tempura, and alcohol from the morning! You can enjoy shochu, wine, and Nikka whiskey from Hokkaido

convenient and cosy hotel. sufficient for 3 pax, although a little difficult to open luggages - but then again that's the standard in japan. will stay again!

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was really good too! It was a short walk from both the snow festival and Susukino, so I would say the location was nice as well!

when I visited this hotel, it was very busy season. almostly no room to choose in Sapporo at that time. so it cost a little bit high. but morning meal was good and its location is good.

Clean spacious rooms compared to many other Japanese hotels. Nice breakfast with good selection of at least Japanese style breakfast. Better coffee than many other Japanese hotels

Sapporo-Hokkaido, a nice city with so much to offer! Everything was more than adequate and Smile Hotel can truly put a Smile on your face! One thing I do like to have is a bathtub, which the room didn't have but the shower was upgraded, the room large compared to some Western style rooms

The hotel's location is great, very close to the city center, about a 15-minute walk. The front desk service was excellent and very attentive, always willing to help

Connecting room is perfect for the family of four. You also get 2 baths. Our rooms ere cleaned everyday. Brekfast is also good. Way going to hotel, is a challenge due to icy paths, please wear your spikes.

There is a very nice onsen within walking distance from the hotel. You're a short walking distance to subway so the location is ok. The breakfast buffet is very good and staff were welcoming and helpful

The hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we’re a group of 5). The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen

The hotel is a bit of a distance from the bustling main streets, but it's an acceptable walk if you don't have luggage. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'm very satisfied

Clean your room every 3 days? Staff very helpful. There is a bbq beef buffet, just next door. Going to airport is a different stop, make sure u check with reception first. Go here for seafood, supper good

An older hotel but well maintained. You get an actual key for you room, not a card key. You can leave it at the front desk when you leave the hotel so you don’t need to walk around with it

The hotel is very close to Odori Subway Station, and Sapporo Station is also within walking distance. The room was larger than I expected, and the breakfast was excellent, even featuring sweet shrimp tempura

We got big room with city view. Easy for muslim to pray with the room size. location is superb just near to the city, can access by walking distance

Bus stop just near the hotel, very easy if u want to take bus from hotel to chitose airport

This hotel is superb! The only con I noticed is that, during our stay, they didn't remove the ice blocked formed by snow in front of their vicinity. While we notice other hotels do have clean walkway.

This hotel is ideally located, just a 3-minute walk from Nakajima-koen Station and close to the Susukino entertainment district. Despite being near the nightlife, it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep

It's super close to the subway station, so getting around is really easy. The only thing is, the breakfast menu is always the same, no variety at all.

Overall, it was pretty good, but on the last night, they didn't provide the bathmat I usually place outside the bathroom door to dry my feet.

For dining, you can find anything you want in Susukino, and having a Seicomart right in front of the hotel is incredibly convenient

I thought the hotel was close to Nishi 11-chome subway station, but it was quite a walk. There aren't many buses to Sapporo Station, but there is a bus stop opposite the hotel, so it's best to take the bus

I rented a car. The staff was very friendly and even came out to explain the parking lot to me. There are quite a few restaurants nearby, and the accessibility is convenient.

The service was very polite and the single room was clean and spacious! I would like to stay here again when I go to Hokkaido!

The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel price was cheaper than hotels of the same level in Sapporo, so I'd like to stay there again next time I go

The room was clean and was tidied up daily.

I usually stay in a hotel near Susukino, so it cost me a little more to get there, but I was pleased with the view of the Hokkaido University campus from the window and the quietness at night

I stayed here for three days and two nights with no meals included because I had business at Hokkaido University Hospital. The front desk was polite and the room was classic yet calming

This was a nice cosy place that was fairly close to the subway~ Amenities were good (we had some free nice wine & beer during their daily alcohol hour) & we had enough room space to open 2 luggages!

The hotel reception staff were very polite, and the breakfast was good. They even helped me book a taxi late at night. I plan to stay here again.

To top it all off, my wife lost her wallet in Ōdōri park on our last day, but the front desk staff helped us by calling the police station and tracked it down for her! No part of our stay here left us anything less than absolutely pleased and comfortable

Such a wonderful space, I was completely satisfied from start to finish! The lounge was incredibly cozy, and I really enjoyed being able to sip wine and snack on marshmallows there. Absolutely loved it!

The room is clean and full of necessary facilities.

It felt like the bedsheets weren't changed for five days, making the hygiene feel poor during a five-day stay. During winter, the sidewalks nearby aren't completely de-iced, making them very slippery and prone to falls

Not the greatest for the location. The use of washing machine and dryer inside the room is a plus together with a much bigger room heater, but the bed is not to our liking. So sleeps were not that comfortable

Check-In after midnight was very easy and fast. Unlimited towels, bed warm and comfortable, not too warm. Also the shower and toilet area is huge. Its right in the center next to many shops and Parks.

Theatel Sapporo is a clean and easy stay for a night in the heart of Sapporo. The location is in the center and the beds are comfortable. Customer service is friendly and washroom really clean and good

Very great location and clean. Worth the price for budget travelers. Although it’s really packed but the hotel is just for rest of the night so that’s okay, the bed is good and give you good sleep

The location is super convenient for shopping, right near Susukino Station. On my last day, there was even a concert in the lobby, which I unfortunately couldn't enjoy because I had to work

It's really great for solo travelers. The Indian staff at the front desk were very polite, and the common areas were quite clean. Just remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste

Within walking distance to convenient store and many eating places Room reasonably size, we have tatami style, no complains, we slept well There is a nice seafood restaurant just besides the hotel, where we feasted on king crab, love it ! Within walking distance to the shopping street too, and Sapporo clock tower

It’s breakfast and dinner must be reserved one day before. The room is so big that my husband can’t influence our sleep because he sleeps on the other side. The toilet is relatively small and has a little off-flavors

Beeeest ryokan I've ever seen!!! Ultimate Japanese atmosphere. I wish I could stay there more. I will come back and stay for longer. Big Japanese room, I fell in love. The onsen is small but still good

Great Stay in Sapporo! The location of this ryokan is fantastic, with the former Prefectural Government building within walking distance, as well as the train station nearby.

Nice location but trains may be very noisy. Windows are very close to railways, around 5 metres away. So clean and comfortable room there are microwave in the room

We were upgraded for free from two single rooms to a triple room. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station

Breakfast is included. Out of my exception, the food is packed in a meal box and I need to collect the mailbox at the reception. What an awful experience.  

The massage chair was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit
