Osaka, 2 Chome-8-3 Saiwaicho, Naniwa-ku 🧭 Map
Upon entering, change into slippers, register on paper, and the staff will give you a small card indicating your floor and room code. Return the card to the front desk upon check-out. The room is clean and tidy, with a soft mattress and latex pillows. After 10 PM, please maintain quiet by using earplugs; there's virtually no noise, ensuring a good night's sleep. Complimentary slippers, hairdryer...
We stayed in a private room that had four bunks & a private shower. Very comfortable, quiet, & warm in January. I speak fairly good Japanese & had some wonderful conversations with our host. She'll make sure you have what you need, know where you are going, & see you off. Definitely staying here again.
This hostel was everything I needed and nothing more. The twin room I had was compact but had enough space to unpack and relax. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was nice to crank up the AC after being in the heat all day. The man at the front desk was welcoming and friendly, and showed me how to use the laundry machines. Located within walking distance of Dotonbori as well. I'd happily stay...
Good location only five minutes from Ebisu, nice spacious beds with good privacy and at a very reasonable price. Staff there have excellent English, no issues communicating with them. Don't take card even if you booked using one though.
Good value. Bathroom is almost unworkable for a six foot ninety kilo male. The shoe change area is also very small. Staff are friendly and it's well located. The alley is a bit dark but we never felt unsafe.

It seems that they also operate a cafe during the day, and the exterior has a nice atmosphere. In addition to the amenities, you can freely use instant coffee, tea, and seasonings, so you can relax with a lot of freedom. If you don't need excessive service, you will be very satisfied.
It's quite weird design and but interesting, just like you share rooms with the owners. Clean, tidy, spacious...however I felt sometimes uncomfortable if I needed a private space. The price is fit for budget travelers, it worths for recommending!
This is my second time staying here. There were not many guests, so I was the only one in the dormitory. (It was a dormitory that only accommodates 2 people.) The decorations of the inn are cute.
The location is easy to find, just by the road. The house is not decorated It is fully equipped, you can cook your own meals, and most importantly, it is free!

Used it on a quick trip to Kusatsu. I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but the price was so incredibly low that I decided to book. In the end, I was so glad that parking was free and the rental was so cheap!! It was a great value family trip!
Although it was cleaned, it still felt insufficient. The room itself was fine, but I was a little disappointed that there was no toothbrush or toilet.
I also have to pay for heating and cleaning, which are strange charges...
If you go to a ski resort, you can stay here. But to go to the Kusatsu hot spring attractions, it is recommended to have a car. After paying the room fee, other items in the store must be paid for at your own expense. If there are other options, I will not choose here again.
Competitive, low prices. No hassle. You can’t complain. Great location for skiers and snowboarders.
It's a reasonable price and is about an 18 minute walk from the center of town.

Great value. There are 3 rooms on the ground, which shares 2 baths and 1 toilet for female, 1 for male, and another for pwd. There is no staff most of the day but the place is relatively clean. That said, no one to assist you upon check in. Check your email or agoda message for instructions on how to get the keys. Don't forget your keys inside your room as it may take some time before someone can...
Very clean, have a laundry coin, dryer coin (there is detergen in the laundry room), microwave, oven, sink, electric hot water jug, eating table area, sofa, etc. everything you need at home. Location is average, not so close to kyoto station but still ok you can walk to reach the nearest bus station
Super comfortable hostel with a clam and relaxing vibe. The amenities and personal hygiene products provided definitely exceeded my expectations. Staff was helpful and responsive to emails. Guests were respectful and quiet so i had a very good night sleep here.
I’ve stayed here twice now, 3.5 years apart and both times it was an excellent experience, would come back again! Clean and quiet, the bunks are so private and roomy it seems more like a capsule hotel than hostel (but the price of a hostel!)
This was my 4th trip to Kizuna! I absolutely love the vibe and friendly atmosphere.
Great comfy and clean place. Free wifi provided. The showers and bathrooms along with the toilet were all nice and clean. Laundry is available for a decent price and you can buy detergent here as well. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

It's a great place pretty close to the station, great drinks. do check for their events on their instagram they occasionally host on the weekends as it'll make the stay more lively and you can talk more people that are also travelling.
It's close to Yokokawa Station, making it a convenient location for sightseeing. If you take the streetcar from Yokokawa Station, you'll be right at Peace Memorial Park. The guesthouse has a Japanese atmosphere, with a bar on the first floor and bedrooms on the second floor. I had no issues and was very comfortable. What a amazing place to live! I've got many surprises here and the location is awesome. Owner here is very nice and I found many cute writing. Hopefully I can come over again someday.

Hana hostel was lovely! They went above and beyond for us, even bought us new slippers because our feet were too big! Good value, only hit my head on roof once lol.
It's a really cute factory. I really like it.
Simply the best experience we had in Japan, not only for the clean and super cozy environment, but for the friendliness, courtesy and care in each of the details offered by the friendly couple who take care of the Hostel. The amount paid was perhaps one of the cheapest during our trip to Japan, the experience we had was irreplaceable.

Very convenient for sightseeing, and a quiet, relaxing stay. I really loved it!
This was my first time staying here in Osaka before the pandemic, and I was surprised to find it still open years later. It's affordable and in a great location, right in the alley opposite the Daimaru department store in Shinsaibashi. Shopping and transportation are incredibly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again!
The situation was terrible during the day on December 5th. I took a shower before noon and returned to my room to find the balcony door open. Since I'm on the lower bunk, the wind was blowing in. I initially thought it was a hostel staff member opening it for ventilation, but it was still open when I came back in the evening. Who will be responsible if my things go missing? It seems the guest on the...
The hotel receptionist speaks fluent Mandarin. The main entrance closes after 8 PM, so you have to use the side entrance. She'll demonstrate how to open the door and kindly guide you to your room. The location is good, though it can be a little noisy outside at night.
I was satisfied because the location was good and I got it in a hurry.
It's very close to Shinsaibashi Shopping Street and a few hundred meters from the subway station. The location is perfect. Namba Station on the Nankai Line from the airport is also within a 10-minute walk. The front desk staff is very nice. The room rate is affordable. I will choose this hotel again next time.

I didn't end up staying here, I requested a cancellation and the owner was kind enough to accept. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt due to all the great reviews, however it didn't suit my travel situation. As a solo traveller and it being my first trip to Japan, I had hoped to meet people. I was the only person at the hostel which was dark and quiet when I arrived. Not super inviting unfortunately...
Had the best time here. The host, Cherry, is the most amazing and welcoming person. She took us to have a Hanami under the Sakura trees and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. It's a small place so you get to make connections with the other people there. The beds were also the most comfy I've stayed at in Japan! You can use the kitchen and fridge. A cozy place for backpacker buddy. Worth to stay here last year. Love! Wanna go back!
Arrived late and had informed the staff I would. They were amazing at communicating with me before my stay and even emailed the day I was to arrive to let me know they had my bed ready. The sinks outside the bathroom have free to use shaving cream, hair dryers, contact solution...
Bit far from the “touristy” part and the train station, but oh so worth it. Clean comfy beds, amazing bathrooms. And the staff was warm and welcoming. Always interested on our wellbeing. I was so bummed when I couldnt stay a night longer, because it was all booked!

The staff is awesome! It's good when at the bar, there's a mix of tourists and locals. The hostel is a bit old but the beds are nice. If you want to go to Nara there's a train station close to the hostel. You don't need to change trains
I used it for the Osaka Expo. I was the only Japanese person there, and it was mostly just foreign guests. It had a homey feel and good amenities. There were lockers on the upper floors. It's about a 20-minute walk from Shinsaibashi in the center of Osaka.
Good for solo traveller and got low budget.
If you can stomach an open hostel style, this is quite a good deal. Very close to the subway and a 15 minute walk to the famous Dotonbori, Glico Man sign etc. The bar at front is cozy and it was nice chatting with other travellers and locals alike.
Quite a lot of people sharing just one toilet and noise can’t be avoided. However, host are really welcoming and location are good.

It was such a pleasure for me to stay in this hostel. The staff is the best you can find and the atmosphere is amazing. I met such a great people here during my Japan journey and I've to say thanks to Anne hostel. Rooms are ok, toilets too.
Super clean and comfortable hostel. They hook you up with tons of blankets, hot showers, and a solid free breakfast along with tea whenever you want. My only complaint would be how small the lockers are but I was able to keep my things on the shelf above my bed. I would definitely stay here again. Also the staff were super helpful and kind
I've stayed here many times over many year. It was lovely coming back here. Friendly, very helpful and friendly staff. And breakfast is a good and simple way to start the day. Great location. Staff is very friendly and speaks English. Place is very easy to find with a few signs indicating youth hostel (using google maps will get you there.) A bit overpriced in my opinion
The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's situated next to a main road, so you might hear some vehicle noise occasionally. However, I found it manageable since I'm not sensitive to sounds. The hostel is very clean, but on my last night, I experienced a dripping issue with the air conditioning around midnight. I chose this hotel because it's close to the ocean, but the nearest beach, Moon Beach, has a fee, so I ended up driving 15 minutes to Nabee Beach. I couldn't figure out how to use the shower, so only cold water came out. I called a staff member and it got hot water. However...

Excellent location and service, the location is superb, being close to not only beaches, but also in-between Yomitan and Onna (and OIST university, if you'd like to visit your friends). There's also a combini right next doors(!. Cape Maeda, Zakimi Castle is also all at cycleable distance!

Good price and had a good stay for 5 days 4 night. Although the place i thought it was under renovation, but it just outside looks like that. The hostel is at level 3. Owner is friendly and definitely recommended for a solo though the bathroom and kitchen are shared but overall it's good!
In Naha, Okinawa, this is one of the best value guesthouses. Even though the facilities aren't luxurious, it's very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm near Kokusai-dori.
This is a highly recommended guesthouse. The staff are friendly and the price is reasonable. Sharing a toilet and kitchen (two rooms per room) is a good option. The location is excellent, with restaurants nearby.
The service was excellent, but the environment could be improved.
Although the hotel's facilities were old, they were very clean. The owner was very polite and smiled as he introduced the facilities and environment. The price was reasonable, and I will definitely add it to my list of hotels for my next trip to Okinawa.
The facilities are basic, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The location is good, and the price is very good and affordable. It's a good place to stay for one night. The shared bathroom is inconvenient. The lack of air conditioning in the public areas (including the bathroom) is a bit unpleasant. The air conditioning is charged at 500 yen per day, but it was not provided.

Cleanest, most organized hostel I've ever been to.
It's a wonderful not so big and more private and familiar hostel. The staff is really nice and helpful (when you arrive, one of them welcomes you personally, takes you to a table and takes time to explain everything to you). It's really very clean. The rooms are not that big and there is only a small locker (about 30/30/30cm), but hey, we all know about the space issues in Tokyo! ;)
The hostel is amazing everyone is friendly and can speak English, it's close to a 711 and right next to the Oedo line and a 15 min walk to asakusa station .
Currently staying. Staff is fantastic. Prices are low. You meet new people every day from all over the world. It's close to the stations which is a huge plus.
Not a bad place, but it is a little noisy at night. The crowd tends to be younger. The location is good though with easy access to the oedo and asakusa subway lines. Also short walk to sensoji.

Hit or miss experience I guess, as it's a shared sleeping space, unfortunately for me it was a miss due to the other disruptive tenants in my room. An okay place if you just need a place to rest for the night. Toilets were clean. You can leave your luggage with them but it's essentially tagged and left by the corridor beside the receptionist area.
On the second day, we checked into Hostel & Dining TangaTable 🧳. The room type was a standard bunk bed 🛌
The place was exceptionally clean, and the room was a generous size. Each bed was equipped with curtains, offering excellent privacy. The facilities were user-friendly, impeccably maintained, and had everything one could possibly need. Despite being a mixed-gender dormitory, my stay was surprisingly peaceful.
Location was good a bit of a walk from the JR station … close to the market and castle , most places you want to visit is walkable.

There is no problem with hygiene. The infrastructure is relatively old, but all functions are normal. It is unfair to talk about service without considering the price. I think the service provided by the boss is completely worthy of the price.
