Hakone, 1321-395 Gora, Ashigarashimo-gun 🧭 Map
The location is average, the hotel may be too old, the room is a bit damaged and rusty, the hot spring is too small, the facilities are a bit old, there is no view from the window, one night and two meals are not surprising, the cost performance is not high
This hot spring inn is about a 15-minute walk from Sounzan Station on the cable car line.
There is a steep slope on the way there, so if you have concerns about your legs, I recommend asking the inn for a free shuttle to Gora Station.
The inn is a little old, but it is kept clean.
Both the food and the hot springs exceeded my expectations, so I was very satisfied.
The ryokan is not far from the Sonzan ropeway station, about 10 minutes on foot. If you agree in advance, they can meet you by car for free, and also take you to the station when you leave. The public onsen is so-so, I recommend taking a private one for 2000 yen for 45 minutes. It is outdoors and has more atmosphere. I liked the kaiseki, the breakfast is also in Japanese style. In general, the atmosphere...
Ruixiang is really good. It is a very traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with a sense of age. Although it has a sense of age, it is very clean and has a high overall quality. Several Japanese aunts are very cute and keep the hotel in order. The boss is very good and patient and helped me a lot. The location of the hotel is very secluded and surrounded by forests, but the hotel shuttle bus is very...
Such a great find! Calming ryokan in a peaceful part of the mountain. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating of us as tourists who didn’t speak Japanese. Every meal was delicious and the staff took time to tell us what each little dish was and even gave us some extra mini dishes to help us try different things. They were all delicious! The onsens were also very relaxing and had everything...
O quarto é tradicional japonês, sem muitos luxos. A onsen é bem agradável. A comida é bem gostosa e tradicional.

Although the hotel is a bit far from Sapporo Station, about 10 minutes away, the surrounding environment is good. The front desk staff is not in the hotel. There is only one iPad at the front desk. When you enter the hotel, you have to use the hotel iPad's Skype to communicate and check in. It is an interesting experience.

It would be great if the hotel had a washing machine and dryer.
The room was super unexpected and super satisfying!
Four people were staying. I thought there would be four single beds, but it turned out to be four double beds.
I think the range of activities is enough for six people
Individually packaged lotions are also provided to guests.
The CP value is great. Recommended to everyone.

Very close to a few of the hot springs, friendly staff and very nice rooms. The breakfast was an additional charge, it was very tasty!
The rooms didn’t have showers/toilets but that didn’t matter to us as we had a bath already at the onsen.
We really loved this place! The owners were the most hospitable people i have ever met 😊 the hostel is very well located, clean and peaceful. Thank you for everything Tatsunn and RinRin ♥️ i hope we will meet again 🙏🏻
Perfectly located in Arima between all the Onsen, this guesthouse is a true gem, with spotless amenities and with awesome Japanese style. The host couple are also amazingly hospitable, friendly and fun - the type that become friends overnight.
I can't recommend this place enough, the hosts are amazing, warm and welcoming ... had a great time staying here. The place is quite new, very clean and the location is just perfect ... very close to all the hot springs in town
This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The owners are very cute couple. They spent time with us at the evening and I have delicious breakfast with them in the morning. Welcome drink is just one of many amazing things you get when you stay there.
Lovely couple who speak much better than average english will welcome you and make you feel at home in their guesthouse. Converted from typical Japanese home it feels very genuine. Make sure to stick around for a shared dinner and eat from a common pot of meat, tofu and vegetables. Dorm beds and rooms, from 4000¥

Very convenient location which in the heart of UENO, easy to reach any sightseeing, foods and souvenirs
Nice capsule hotel close to the statiin. It was a little hard to find as reception is on the 2nd level.
Ne ready for your capsul experience, lack of information for people who aren’t used to it. But close to mrt lines that’s good
Location was great but little smoky despite saying it was non smoking hotel Resting area lounge chairs next to room was a smoking area
Its a simple hostel. The good thing is they have a sento which you can use from 3:30am until 1:30am. The bed is fairly comfortable. Staffs are good mannered.
well located and generally clean, except for you, but well I think it must be difficult to keep clean with the number of people. there are not enough toilets for all the people. The bathrooms are clean, well appointed and airy. The beds are clean and comfortable. Negative point: all the lockers are located in one room, there is a lot of traffic in a room and some guests allow themselves to talk loudly...

This is a small, fully self-service hotel, where you check in via a pad at the entrance.
It's about a seven- to eight-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, in a small residential area.

It was a fantastic place. With a reggae and tropical vibe, i felt stylish, and the staff were all friendly, making it a spot I can’t wait to brag about to my friends once I’m back. There are many foreigners, it's a bit far from the subway, and there is no kitchen
We had a private room which was not far away from the hostel itself (half a block walk). The private room was a small apartment with even a small balcony and a kitchenette. We did not use the kitchenette, but on first look, there was not much kitchenware available. Clean, quiet and in a great location.
Location is good. It might not in the center of Namba but you can walk along the river with the good atmosphere to Dotonbori.

Nice hostel, great location as close to train stations
The hotel is close to the subway station and a convenience store, and the staff are friendly.
Extended my stay by one night. Everything was as good as before 👍🏼
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Toei Subway Higashi-Nihonbashi Station. They provide free earplugs, so even if you're near a loud snorer, you'll still get a good night's sleep. The front desk staff were very friendly and maintained a perfect balance of helpfulness without being intrusive. I'd definitely want to stay here again.
Only complaint was the blanket was too short. Other than that it was good value in a great location.

An old house with all its pros and cons. Warm. Toilets in the yard. Good location.
Nice hostel close to Gion. I spent a good time there.
This is a very unique hotel. It has no central heating, making it impossible to sleep in the evenings and at night. There's air conditioning, which is supposed to replace the heating, but it's not up to the task. One downside is that the toilet and sink are located outside. Washing up in the morning requires all the strength you need to go outside in November in light clothing and wash your face with...
Lovely little traditional Japanese wooden house turned hostel, they have free porridge in the morning and little snacks and tea in the relaxing area. Room was clean and comfortable and the price was fantastic.
The walls in the room were like cardboard—very thin. The glass facing the street made everything very loud, including people walking above. When booking, specify that you want a room away from the entrance, otherwise you'll hear everyone coming and going. The room only had a toilet and sink. I stayed in this hostel for 4 days and 3 nights in Kawaguchiko.

Location fantastic. But hostel told me must check in before 8pm. Fortunately I called before hand due to weather delayed transport to Yokohama. 8pm is too early to close reception. Bed uncomfortable, metal rods below thin mattress. They did not bother to add one more rod to balance out the weight. See photos. Other than above, good compact hostel.
This place was a great find! The owners are awesome and so were the guests! I made life long friends. It is right in the middle of Chinatown and within walking distance to the ocean! This was my best place to stay in my 14 day trip in Japan as a solo traveler! Very accommodating and it felt like home.

As with a regular hotel, reception is on the first floor and then you head to the basement. It's easy to get lost.

It's was a quest to find it — it has no signs outside. I've just came into other hotel to ask about this capsule paradise, and it turned out that it's on this hotel's underground floor (how should I guess?)
