Furano, 1F, Concierge Furano, 2-27 Honcho 🧭 Map
Very good hostel for snowboarding. With facilities that suite for guests. Shuttle bus stop to ski area in front of the hostel. Very recommend
Furano truly lives up to its reputation as a ski haven, and Hostel Tomar is conveniently located in the city hall building. It's a popular choice for many skiers who prefer to stay in town. For solo travelers, it's a clean and convenient option; drawing the curtains and wearing earplugs still allowed for a decent night's sleep.
Perfect stay at Tomar :) the hostel is very clean and well-maintained and close proximity to Furano JR station. Highly recommended.
Front desk staff helpful

Nice staff and always smile

Though understand that this is a hostel but the sound proof really not good. Throughout the night kept hearing sounds from next room (like they knocked things to the wall). Other than that averagely fine.
Actually because of a hurricane, I can't check in the hotel. But will be back to another trip to Hokaido for next trip

Nagoya, 13-5 Tsubaki-cho Nakamura-ku 🧭 Map
Stay here for many times already. Means I am satisfied for everything.
The location is superb, right across from Nagoya Station, and there's a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient for solo travelers.
Great location, right across from JR Nagoya Station. There's a 7-Eleven nearby with plenty of food and other things to buy. I highly recommend the yakiniku, ramen, and unagi. The hostel is a bit old, but still quite clean. Nagoya isn't a traditional tourist city, so it's not too crowded, perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet.
Although the last renovation was in 2015, the facilities, cleanliness, and service are still quite good. The public area on the first floor is small but includes a microwave, and free hot water and Miso soup are available all day. The location is excellent, very close to the train station. I recommend visiting Atsuta Jingu Shrine and Osu Kannon Temple; Nagoya Castle was just okay. For getting around...
The hostel was located in a great location. The entrance to Nagoya Station is just a minute away on foot. The staff was nice and helpful.
I stayed for 3 nights at the Wasabi Hostel Nagoya.
I took the Nohi Bus from Takayama, which took about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach its final destination, the Meitetsu Nagoya Bus Terminal. The fare was 3600 yen. Using Google Maps, it was about a 700-meter, 10-minute walk to the hostel. Actually, getting off at JR Station would have been closer, but I wanted to check the Meitetsu train schedules...

Ah, one of the best hostels in Gion because you will meet so many foreigners here & make friends at the dining table. The best part was the kitchen & shower area. Super clean. They have almost all equipment to cook good food & enjoy at the dining table.
I stayed at The Ryokan Hostel Gion in Kyoto and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the entire place — including the showers and bathrooms — was spotless. The atmosphere felt cozy and friendly, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city.
The bedroom space is quite small, but it’s comfortable and convenient for short stays. Overall, it’s a great choice...
Lovely hostel with clean and comfortable amenities, fresh towels provided daily and located in a very central area near bus stops, subway station and Gion.
Our only hiccup was the dryer on the 4th floor not being able to dry our clothes too well. Not a big deal, the laundromat across the street is extremely well kept and useful.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting to visit this corner of Kyoto
Although everything is shared, the space was clean, even the restroom. There is a bathtub so if you are lucky no one is using it, you are free to do so. I just unfortunately have been assigned a bed that is beside the entrance so I wasn’t able to sleep immediately hearing the door slide every now and then. Also, I could hear every time others slide their curtains so it did take time before falling...
I love our experience in staying here. The staff are very kind and polite. They also recommend restaurants or places near the Hostel.
The exterior of the place is very traditional and the interior is very homy. There also a public area, where you can sit down with your friends to talk and a public kitchen where you can make a coffee.
There is also a convenience store near the hostel, so there are...
I stayed in the private rooms, so I am unaware of the true hostel experience here. The private rooms are very clean and modern, although they can be a bit cramped when all four bunks are occupied. They have a mini fridge with freezer, a microwave, and a water heater in the rooms. The public area is also very friendly and clean. No shoes allowed but they supply you with slippers.

No in and ou of hotelt after 3 am till morning.
You need to take a few steps from the various stations around this place. Staff here is very friendly and willing to assist. There is a small AEON supermarket right next to the accommodation, which is very remarkable!!
This property is almost in the center of Chiba if you are traveling around the city center. There are a few stations nearby, including the famous Chiba Urban Monorail.
This property comes with a public bath and a spacious common area where you can relax and eat.
The place is old, but it’s okay. This does not bother me as long as it’s clean.
I had a wonderful experience at Capsule Hotel The Inn. The building was within walking distance from Chiba Station, which I reached from the Narita airport using one train within an hour, which was a huge plus. The area was very quiet, and I slept really well in my cozy capsule.
My cubicle was well equipped with a TV, lamp, locker, hand sanitizer, cups for water (they even provided a bottle of water...
The facilities are really well-maintained.
1. There's a shoe rack, so you don't have to wear shoes to your room.
2. There's a large public bath, complete with a sauna. This is the first time I've seen a capsule hotel with a public bath.
3. The lounge is filled with comics and various vending machines, making for a comfortable stay.
4. The amenities and facilities are well-equipped. There's everything...
This is a very traditional Japanese capsule hotel, similar to a Chinese bathhouse. The hot tub is very comfortable, the sauna is complete, and the massage chairs are also very good. There's even a desktop computer, printer, office chair, and book bar. It's very nice, except that my roommate snores. China should learn from Japan. I also maintain hygiene at all times, maintain the image of Chinese tourists...

Very quiet! The hygiene was excellent and everything was clean. A great first experience staying in a capsule hotel.
The facilities were very clean and it was quiet at night, making for a very comfortable overall experience. However, there are some things to note regarding luggage storage: you have to call the hotel on check-in day to open the door before you can store your luggage, and on check-out day, you can't store luggage because the main door is locked (and it seems there might be a fee). This was quite inconvenient...
Everything was great, it was just a little disappointing that the staff didn't speak English.
The hotel was clean overall, and other guests were quiet, making for a pleasant stay. I hardly ever ran into other guests in the shower or restroom, so it was never crowded. I had a lot of luggage, so I had to be careful when opening my suitcase.
Clean and tidy, with a shower room and laundry facilities. It offers decent value for money, though the lockers are a bit small.
It was nice that the female and male rooms and elevators were separated. It was also nice that the sleeping area was separate from the lockers, so there were no noise in the sleeping area.

The staff were kind and lovely. Even though my mother is not good at speaking English, the staff slowly gave advice. The service was very impressive. If anyone is traveling alone, I recommend this place as an option.
A capsule hotel and sauna located along Shijo Street. This time, I only used the sauna. The sauna front desk is on the 6th floor, the lockers are large, and the inside of the building is very spacious and clean. A large-scale renovation was completed a few years ago, and in addition to the large sauna, there is also a sauna on the rooftop, and there is also plenty of outdoor bathing space. The jacuzzi...
the onsen, spa and sauna is like the best i experience in kyoto man. very comfortable and relaxing. the breakfast was very good with alot of different varieties everyday.
Great location, love the spa option. Lots of rules. If you have tattoos you can cover it with bandage's
Just a few minutes walk from Gion-Shijo station and not that far from the shopping streets.
Great service and location, however, was kinda disappointed with the capsule as I felt stuffy inside and ventilation weren't that great.
I do love the sauna though, there's the roof sauna and hot spring.
Perhaps the sauna could indicate more English posters to educate the tourists on proper sauna etiquette
Honestly the best capsule hotel I've seen so far! The perfect location, very friendly staff, clean rooms, etc. The free sauna use is amazing, there are various kinds of sauna and baths that you can enjoy and even massages that aren't expensive.

It was a capsule hotel, so a regular hotel would have been better!
This is an artificial bath that uses hot spring travertine from the Futamata Radium Hot Spring in Oshamanbe, Hokkaido, so I went there just to enjoy the artificial hot spring without using the sauna. The sauna and spa are on the first basement floor. I was worried that it would be humid because it's underground, but the changing room was dry and not uncomfortable at all. It's a great environment where...
Women can also stay in the hotel, and the large bathroom is for men only. The hotel has excellent facilities and is located close to the station. The large public baths feature Futamata radium hot springs, Hokkaido's hidden hot spring, as well as a sauna and...
Both the sauna and the cold bath are old-fashioned and very comfortable in a good way. I personally want a sauna between low and high temperatures.
Also, since part of it is completely visible from the elevator, it may be dangerous if a woman pushes a button and comes by mistake.
The restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious, so it's worth a try.

Before checking in, I thought it was a bit pricey, but after staying, I totally get why it's worth the cost. The common area is quite spacious, perfect for guests to eat. The second floor is where the rooms are. As you enter, there are lockers on the left, and the path to the restrooms and showers is also on the left. The right side is solely for sleeping.
The capsule bed was spacious, toilet and bathroom were clean. Near the supermarket which was just across the road and next to convenience store. Luggage storage was provided before and after check in/out. Walking distance around 25 mins from Kawaguchiko Station. The only downside was you were not allowed to stay inside the capsule bed and need to leave from that building after 10 am until 3 pm as...
Great customer service and excellent communication from the team. The place is clean and well maintained and the capsule is comfortable and well equipped.

It’s a big hostel, essentially only two rooms. Full of special rules for each little thing. The set up of the rooms is really weird because the locker is in a completely separate area, so it really doesn’t make sense to use it. It’s kind of like a gym locker. The top bunks sharea ladder which is incredibly uncomfortable to use since you need to coordinate with 3 other people use a ladder.
The environment is very nice ! The room was very clean and tidy.
Super clean and convenient. Highly recommend.
I had to make a last-minute trip to Naha, so I stayed here. As always, it was clean and comfortable. Next time, I'd like to enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast.
the place was very well located, the staff was super friendly, the coffee place is def a plus! The beds are not exactly bunk beds so if the person staying on top moves a lot, you won’t really feel it if you are staying at the bottom one, which is great. Something to take in consideration is that it gets really hot and u can’t really do much about it.
Great location but very loud and light, difficult to sleep

Very nice location, easy to access by metro, quiet and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I stayed here for 7 nights during peak sakura season, March 30-April 6, 2026. I am very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this place to travellers, especially to solo travellers. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay. The property was clean, well-organized, and felt thoughtfully managed. All the reception staff I met were friendly, polite, and able to communicate in basic English, which made everything smooth.

This historic hotel is essentially a youth hostel. Guests are responsible for making their own beds, buying their own toothbrushes and toothpaste, and there is no housekeeping service. Please consider this carefully before booking.
The room has tatami mats and a river view, which is nice. Rooms without a river view can also see the sea, which is nice. It's just that it's light to walk. The bathroom is a bit awkward and there are no gender divisions. It's more comfortable to take a bath in the bathhouse on the first floor below.
Super nice room, very big, great river view, experience the real life of Japanese people
This is a hotel with a history of more than 100 years. It has a very historical feel. However, because it is older, it is all made of wood. It is very noisy at night. As long as someone goes out, there will be noise. Therefore, people should be careful before going to bed. However, its location is really good. I personally feel very good.
This historic house, built along the river, offers a beautiful view from the window. The common areas are very convenient, though I regret not being able to read "The Dancing Girl of Izu" in the riverside window seat. Aside from some creaking floorboards and slightly outdated kitchen facilities, everything else was as expected and satisfying. The front desk staff spoke excellent English, making communication...

Best at this price. Hostel condition and management procedures are up to expectation. Shared dormitory is not easy for big luggage users if allocated upper deck. It's good that there are capsules for women only.
It's an older facility and there are various restrictions, but since accommodation costs are rising, I think it's good for a room-only stay.
It was nice that there was a bath, sauna, and laundry available.
Very convenient, I'd like to come back when I visit Fukuoka.
A very good hotel, convenient for travel, good service, and high cost performance. Good quality and low price, recommended for traveling to Tokyo.
The space is relatively small and there is a sense of oppression. Maybe this is what capsule hotels are like. Don't expect too much!
If you have large luggage, you need to use a coin locker. There are many rules for check-in. The hotel is relatively strict in its management. The beds are clean. There are many restaurants around. It is quite convenient.
