Good customer service and nice place.

The rooms are spacious; overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The breakfast was excellent with a varied selection, but neither of the restaurants was open while I was there so I had to fend for myself. The front desk was friendly, quick and attentive

For the price this is fantastic, it's clean and tidy and well located near the portliner monorail from Kobe airport. It's on the older side which is why it's cheap but very well kept and great value

Felt like a luxury stay with a big room and an awesome view from the top floor, location convenient only if you wanna be close to the airport

The hotel was ok but too quite

One of the best experiences in my life. The view from the windows is incredible. Kaiseki dinner was awesome (requires booking in advance, though). The staff is extremely polite and helpful

We stayed at Negiya Ryofukaku in Arima Onsen during the maple leaf season, opting for the West Wing's deluxe Japanese-Western mixed room with a mountain view

Like the quaint yet very elaborate ryokan style of living. The onsen may not be as big and fancy as in noboribetsu but it is still comfortable. I subscribed to their dinner and breakfast which was pretty good

Very nice traditional hotel. Perfect location, a nice remote village with services and shops, if needed. Good staff, always helping and are there to even open doors. Very relaxing onsen

Excellent place to experience traditional Japanese living.  To avoid difficulties with getting to the hotel you should take a bus at Shin-Kobe station before darkness

Excellent ryokan, staff very friendly, clously to arima ropeway. Dinner is excellent! I recommend it!

Clean and cozy with a big bath tub for ofuro. Compared to other business hotels, this hotel is bigger in size at around 13-14sqm. Only a mere 3 mins walk from West exit of Motomachi JR station. Highly recommended!

The hotel isn't too far from Motomachi Subway Station, just a few minutes' walk. You pass through Nankinmachi on the way to the station. There's a microwave in the lobby, and the room was bigger than I expected

The next day, you can walk from Motomachi to Sannomiya and Ikuta Shrine, which takes only about 20 minutes. The hotel provides pajamas and all toiletries, and there's even a coffee machine in the room

Facilities: Well-equipped, a standard Japanese hotel. Service: Average, not the warm Japanese service I'm used to. Cleanliness: Very clean! 👍👍👍 Environment: Good location, not far from the port or the subway station

Breakfast is a little simple Indian restaurant, nothing to choose much. Bicycles can been rent at the front desk for 500 JPY per use. Very convenient to get around the city

Sunday seemed to be the best day for breakfast

This hotel is the most expensive one I have stayed in more than 10 times in Japan, but it also has the best service. I experienced the butler service, and I didn't need to carry any bags when I entered the door

✅ Service (The Only Highlight): • The staff's English was above average, communication was smooth, and their attitude was good. This was the only positive aspect of the stay

The price includes breakfast and dinner, and the breakfast and dinner for two days are different. I really felt the multi-sensory shock

❌ Dining (The Most Disappointing Part): • Severely Disparate from Advertising: The hotel touted "high-quality innovative cuisine," but the actual taste was mediocre and completely failed to impress, severely contradicting the advertising

When there are fewer guests, it feels like you have the whole place to yourself. One morning, I went to the onsen early and had the entire pool to myself

The hotel was excellent. Delicious food, very friendly staff, and no issues at all. It's set in a beautiful mountain landscape .

This hotel, nestled halfway up the mountain, offers a traditional Japanese ryokan experience with tatami mats, which was a wonderful experience

1stly, there seemed to be a communication break between Trip. com and Goshobessho, as our dinner instruction was not passed on. And was not informed there is a 3-days advance notice requirement to make dinner reservation

This place is absolutely stunning! I highly recommend it, even though it's on the pricier side. The staff were simply exceptional. They welcome you like cherished guests and bid you farewell with the same warmth

Additionally, there's a service point I don't quite understand: check-in was very warm and the refreshments came quickly, but after checking out, not even a glass of water was offered

Ended up we had to make do with what's available at other restaurants in Arima. Both breakfast and dinner choices should have been listed more clearly in Trip

This is a very nice hotel, located close to Suma Beach. The service was excellent, and the facilities were very satisfactory. However, due to the hotel's nature, it's more suitable for couples than families.

Excellent love hotel: Japanese *****************, all toiletries provided, including condoms, pads, face mask, and skincare products. A decent breakfast delivered to your room at the appointed time

They also helped me store my luggage and the service was excellent, so I had a very pleasant stay. Getting there from Sannomiya Station is uphill, so it can be a bit difficult if you're carrying a suitcase

The food at the restaurant downstairs is pretty good.

As someone with disabilities in both my left upper and lower limbs, it was easy to use and I had a comfortable stay. The food was also excellent, and I got a Kobe beef hamburger steak (set) at a 10% discount

When going out to Shin-Kobe Station, you have to climb a steep hill, so I thought it would be a good idea to do some warm-up exercises

The room is spacious and clean. It is close to both Shin-Kobe Station and Sannomiya Station, which is nice.

This is my favorite hotel. It's not new, but it's well-cleaned and the front desk staff are very friendly.

Extremely nice and cute, nearly no one speaks English, but it makes time in Hotel more interesting! Traditional room, good onsen (i personally prefer the one on the rooftop) and not crowded

  We had Beef Kobe dinner and it was good and interesting, we didn’t understand a half of ingredients in some dishes, but still enjoyed our time!  Complementary tea/coffee/soft drinks and dessert were adorable

It was a bit disappointing that there was no Korean patch, but overall it was a good accommodation.

Breakfast is also explained in English as "this is rice" or "this is soup. Speaking Japanese, it's easy to check small details like whether a raw egg will be placed on top of the rice

On the first day of check-in, a guest's outerwear (hotel supplies) was left in the massage chair the previous day. Cleaning is scheduled at 10 or 11 AM, which takes about two hours

There aren't many Korean reviews on Trip. The staff really don't speak English. It feels like a lot of locals go there. It's a bit tricky if you don't speak Japanese well

We had a great 1 night stay at this hotel! This was a wonderful experience! Although we only spent 1 night here, as this was meant to be an overnight stop between cities in our travel road trip, this left such a good impression on us, that we would like to come back to Akashi just to stay in this hotel again

The room was super spacious and designed nicely, with a huge hot tube jacuzzi, and since we took the ocean view room, the view overlooking the ocean and bridge was just breath-taking 👌 The breakfast was just right, and they totally accommodated my meal requests and accomplished to have a very good result

There's also a self-service snack bar with drinks on the 3rd floor – don't miss it! If the weather is nice, be sure to take a walk or bike ride around the hotel area 🚲 – it's so relaxing 😌 I've stayed at several hotels in this area, and this is definitely the best value for money and most comfortable!

Excellent hotel for a weekend trip, the room is huge and as a soda chair and table. The lounge offer you wine, beer, juices, milk and lots of snacks like peanut, cookies, coffee , tea,ect excellent Location

Location is very near train station. Dinner and breakfast are good, especially Dinner food are more than enough. Onsen are good.

The hotel is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the mountain view outside the window is beautiful, and there is no one in the hot spring at night, so you can enjoy the private bath treatment

Luckily they served me an all day breakfast upon my arrival cause I arrived in the evening ! The room is very good! Clean , comfortable, fridge ,big tv screen , lightings !Free tea bags and coffee ! There are plenty of amenities! You can watch tv while you have a bath in the tub

This was a good place but the location was on the mountain which was a little far from restaurants. Definitely not a place to take your children, there was a massager on the table. But a nice hotel with friendly staff.

A love hotel close to the Mt Rokko Observatory Deck for night view. The roads around the hotel are hard to navigate. If the price is right, it's a good choice with free parking.

Full of surprises when you can stay at a local hourly hotel. The sex toys, tub and the amenities are fab. Room size is excellent and we have enjoyed the free parking

Hotel amenities quite good. Not near to city but if going to rokkosan, is quite convenient

Their service is so good that they wipe down all your luggage upon arrival at the hotel, and my bags came out cleaner than when I came! The food also left us speechless

I wanted to sleep well, but the window only had a shoji screen, so it was too bright and I had to wake up. Also, I could hear quite a bit of noise from the next room, which was bothersome

Love the location very close to the center and public transport. definitely book a room with the onsen in the room, solo traveler can reserved a private time on schedule. The hostess is very helpful and speak English

It's a short walk from Sannomiya Station through a shopping street, but there are many different shops lined up, and personally, I was happy to find a Korean food store nearby

Also, when I entered the room, I saw Kumapochi-kun on the bed, cup, etc. I was also looking forward to breakfast the next morning, and it was even better than I expected

There was also a bakery that looked delicious, although I didn't go there. Although I checked in late at night, I was very grateful to receive welcome sweets (parfait)

I like bread, so there's a lot of variety, and they make omelettes for me and serve delicious beef stew. I was also happy to have dessert and was very satisfied

The staff were very kind, and this hotel is especially recommended for female guests. When I checked out, I realized how popular the restaurant was with a long line outside for the lunch buffet

Quaint hotel to stay while exploring Arima Onsen. The private onsen and sauna was great and highlight was the dinner too. Enjoyed my stay here. No lift so bring light luggage, short walk from bus station

combined modern and traditional wooden japanese style. once checked in, they serve welcome drink and snacks at the lounge and immediately we felt ourselves in another world. alcoholic drinks available too

The hotel staff is enthusiastic and has a good sense of service

however if you'd like to dine outside, they're happy to arrange pick up service to and from. the staff cannot speak much english but they're equipped with the little translation machine

and for breakfast, they don't serve in-house, but they will send you to the cooperated Sora Cafe which is only a few mins drive apart. overall we had a really nice stay here

there's a restaurant enclosed but you must reserve dinner when the time you made your room reservation, they need time to prepare in advance

Good and valuable Ryokan experience, they provide shutter services too. Staff are friendly but they do not provide services after 9pm. Did not manage to ask for extra pillow as the front desk are closed in the night

The service was very attentive. The only thing is that the bathhouse switches between male and female sections daily, and I almost walked into the women's bath while looking down at my phone.
