A fairly nice hotel for being a business hotel. The room was somewhat larger than I was expecting and the staff was courteous and helpful. The only issue is that it is located a few stations away from the downtown area

The location isn't far from Sannomiya Station, but it felt like a maze around there 😵💫 Plus, with the skybridge under construction, several directions were blocked, so it took us ages to find our way in and out every time 🙃 And we had to go up and down that complicated skybridge—maybe I'm just bad with directions… It's about a 10-minute walk to the airport bus stop, which isn't super convenient if...

Very spacious room, able to open multiple large suitcases. Close to train station and many restaurants and shops. Carpark was always full, so had to park at a further carpark although at the same fixed rate

Good location and walking distance from sannomiya station

The double room was quite a bit more expensive than the king room, but it was very spacious and clean inside, truly comfortable 👍 The front desk is on the second floor, and there's a lounge next to it

The room is cleaned with relatively good breakfast choices. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a hotel close to the station

Hotel is quite old style but spacious. Breakfast is good. Carpark space is enough and there are many restaurants in the hotel building.

There is a swimming pool available to hotel guests, but unfortunately, the information pertaining to the use of the pool was absent, so I did not bring a swim suit and was very disappointed

This hotel is in a prime, bustling location in Kobe, surrounded by luxury brands downstairs, making it super convenient to get around. The room wasn't as old as I expected and was quite spacious

The 'harbor view' was pretty much non-existent though. Amenities and bedding were excellent. Interestingly, check-in is on the top floor, where all the restaurants are located too, and it gets quite busy with diners

Clean and new building and rooms. Just in front of Hanshin Amagasaki station. Furthermore, breakfast buffet is perfect, we can cover almost all necessity to our nutritious demand. But desk is not in guest room.

I recommend it. It was Ebisu Day, so I couldn't get a taxi, but they called one for me. They have separate smoking and non-smoking rooms, and I asked for a smoking room close to the elevator, and they obliged.

The room is a typical Japanese hotel room, small but has everything you'd need, and very, very clean. Check-in was smooth, and there's coffee in the reception area, which is on the first floor

I stayed here to see the first sunrise of the year from Meriken Park! It's about a 5-minute walk north from Kobe Station, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding something to eat!

There is a convenient store less than a minute from the hotel if you want a snack. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good

I always use Toyoko Inn. Breakfast is free and the room condition is good. However, the soundproofing is poor, so it is a little noisy at night.

Great view from all the rooms (only floors 14 and up are part of the hotel). Breakfast on the 18th floor was very good, too. Fancy fancy.

arrived late, so stayed here for a night before we embark our vacation proper. Carpark was easy to find, supermarket below good for some food shopping and convenience store also nearby.

Although it was reasonably priced, the view was good and the breakfast was good in quality and breadth. Checkout time was 12 o'clock, so I was able to relax. There were restaurants in Iloilo within walking distance.

I have a lot of trust in Toyoko. The room layout is reasonable and the hotels are widely distributed. This one is basically opposite Hanshin Station, which is convenient for getting around

The only drawback is that my room is close to the elevator, which makes it noisy. Also, the elevator was broken that day, so I had to walk up to the 12th floor

And there are restaurants below like Thai, Italian and bar and grill, show your room key card and you get 10% discount. It’s a nice hotel with good service and the location is great for food and exploring Kobe

Great location with easy access to dining and public transport. The room is a bit small but fully equipped. The laundry room, ice machine, and microwave are all conveniently located together

This is a great hotel at Kobe, the hotel stay is very helpful and hospitable, they offer welcome drinks/ coffee to us. The room is spacious and the single bed can sleep 2 persons

Hotel itself is ok with up to standard service from hotel staff, room size is typical Japanese budget hotel & acceptable based on Japanese hotel standard, have complimentary hot spring with 2 pools and 10 washing space in such standard and room rate is good enough

Location also ok with only 3 minutes walking distance to the nearest metro station. The only area not feeling good is the public area walkway, lift from hotel to metro with rubbish that no one to clean for 2 days

Generally clean and well maintained except for several corners in 3rd floor. Service and amenities were excellent.

They offer a shuttle service to the Three Palaces, and the hot springs are very comfortable. At this price, what more could you ask for?

The reception staff are very kind and polite. There is a hot spring and it is very healing. Conveniently, the parking lot doesn't have a height limit, but it costs 2,000 yen, so you should check the layout carefully

I prefer this hotel since that area is very clam and easy to relax from the noise of city. There is 64 restaurant in front of hotel which has reasonable price for Italian food. Good to enjoy food and wine!

The hotel is great for people who likes to be in the middle of the city especially for shoppings. It is surrounded with branded shops and within walking distance to all of the shopping street.

Comfortable room and not too far from stations. In fact, right in between two railway stations. Right next to a 24 hours restaurant and close to other amenities as well as central Kobe Sannomiya.

As you walk into the lobby, the hotel is very new and modern, the walls and floor were immaculate. The rooms was newly furnished, extremely cozy and well lit with an abundance of wall outlets

There is a lot of convenient stores around and very yummy bakery just around the corner for your breakfast needs. As well, there is a very nice quick restaurant right beside the lobby door

she have helpfully helped to remove the pipe and tried her best to have to flush the sink to find it. although unfortunately we are not able to find it, i would like to appreciate her efforts

Hotel location just next to JR Kobe. Excellent locations with good hotel service. The hotel room is a bit dark but it is clean.

This place is good and very near to the train station. The buffet is good but not so fantastic. Also same food selection for the whole stay hence a bit not so exciting but just nice to fill up the stomach.

While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, it's not inconveniently far. The place was clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was fantastic and offered excellent value for money

Dongheng Inn Hotel: Stayed Once, Loved Forever! Folks, I seriously can't let anyone *not* know about Dongheng Inn Hotel! I stayed here on my recent trip, and the experience was absolutely phenomenal

The breakfast, though simple, was delicious and nutritious, upholding the consistent Toyoko Inn quality with nothing to fault. I would definitely stay there again if I have the chance!

The kettle on the tea table was full of boiled water, and sitting down to have a cup of hot tea made me feel right at home. The staff were also very nice, and basic English was fine for communication

The guesthouse is about one tram stop (?) from Sannomiya, Kobe, but you have to walk up a big hill from the tram stop to get there, which can be a bit tiring if you're dragging a suitcase

I arrived a bit early in the afternoon, so I just left my luggage at the front desk and went out. I didn't return to the room until 8 or 9 pm, and my suitcase was already safely there

The bathroom was a bit cramped, but enough for one person. The breakfast was Japanese, which was a first for me, and quite novel

I tried various side dishes, and I especially liked the tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet) and the yam salad

It's also quite close to Motomachi, making it convenient for casual strolling around
