It is a comfortable and practical stay in Kyoto. It is two bus stops from the main station, making access simple and convenient. The staff are helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with directions or requests. Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Room service is prompt and reliable. The spa is an added plus, offering a relaxing way to unwind after sightseeing.

On the downside, the hotel is not within short walking distance of a subway station, which can make transit less convenient. The immediate area has limited restaurant options, especially late at night. Rooms may feel tight for guests with large luggage.

Found some hair under the bed that wasn't vacuumed before checking in, didn't fully take all our rubbish.

Decent place to stay at location wise but very small space for a family (especially in the "king deluxe room").

Only had 2 towels too despite there being 4 of us.

Rooms small, but have what you need. Location is far from the sights, but easy to get to on many bus routes. Onsen on 9th floor never busy and perfect size for this hotel. Great price. Staff very friendly.

The hotel is quite a long walk from Kyoto Station; it took us about 20+ minutes on foot to get there. You could take the bus, but it doesn't really save much time. There's a good ramen shop right next to the hotel that even gave our child a toy. The room isn't huge, but there's enough space for luggage. The lobby downstairs offers free coffee, which I enjoyed every morning.

The view was great but the room was dirty when we entered we had to use the vacuum ourselves to even be able to sit on the chair. The staff are almost all foreigners and they were very rude. Breakfast was mostly deep fried stuff and bread. The hotel is also quite far from kyoto station or any train station. I do not recommend. Use comfort inn or urban hotel shijo. 2 stars because good view.

Clean, big room, good views. location little bit far away. But its okay.

Stayed here for 3 days. Amenities are on the first floor, along with the microwave and water. I didn’t have any problems with check-in (booked through Agoda). We spoke to different staff members during our stay, and all of them were professional, even though some were not fluent in English. One of the female staff members was especially patient and helped teach us how to forward our luggage to our Tokyo hotel.

It was also my first time using a public bath. As a general rule in Japan, you have to go in naked. Since I went late at night, there was barely anyone there, which made it a very relaxing experience.

Cons: Quite a bit of a walk to the nearest train station, although there are nearby bus stops.
