Apartment Hotels in Kyoto

We stayed here as a family. We were a couple in our 40s with three children aged 14 to 23, and we had a great time relaxing.

The hotel is about a 7-minute walk from JR Tofukuji Station. It is very convenient to go to Fushimi Inari and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There are many convenience stores nearby. The room of nearly 500 square meters is 400 yuan per night, which is very cost-effective in Kyoto.

The room is quite big and the structure is OK, but the tatami in the master bedroom is too shabby and old. The quality of the quilt and pillow in the room is very poor. The kitchen facilities are also a little old and not easy to use. There is no washing machine, which is a big problem for an apartment suite. The service at the front desk is very average. You have to carry the garbage down by yourself...

Very big room. Check in was very simple. The concierge was easy to talk with. Amenities very available. Train station was about 700m away though. Good to stay. May come again.

Too expensive for a fully self-service hotel without room cleaning service. Even have to make our own futon bed. Also, dont even bother with washing clothes your clothes. Washing took 5 hours, drying was terrible. have to dry the clothes on the drying rack in the room.

The living room and kitchen are very convenient. The bed in the room is very comfortable to sleep on and the location is convenient.

This was the best apartment-style hotel I've stayed in during my time in Japan. The service was excellent in every aspect, especially suitable for family trips. The laundry machine and dryer were very useful! I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Kyoto!

The room is very good and very quiet! The price is also very good. The room is quite large. I was very happy to stay there twice. There is a restaurant in the wine house opposite the hotel which is also very good.

The hotel is hidden in a quiet and leisurely living area, a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The location is very convenient, not far from the most prosperous commercial street. The room is quite large in Japan, very clean, has everything you need, and even has its own washing machine and dryer. I asked the front desk to help book dinner for three nights. They are all within a 10-minute walk...

This is a boutique B&B with only a few rooms. It is located in a residential area with a one-way street, so there are no taxis at the door. You have to walk to the main road. Taxis will not know that this hotel has no lunge. There is only one waiter on duty and no service at all. I live in a long and narrow area. The false window on the front of the room type opens to the side and smells of oil smoke...

Very nice hotel. Lots of space, and steps from the metro. The outdoor area in our suite was very nice!

An excellent option for those looking for a comfortable and well-designed stay in Kyoto. It's especially suitable for travelers who value: a convenient location, cleanliness and good service, the ability to live "like home" (with a kitchen and laundry facilities). On the downside, the table isn't very comfortable... (where you could have a drink and a meal).

Friendly staff. Clean. 15 mins walking distance to Gion and shopping street.

advantage: The location is good, the attached hand soap, body wash, and shampoo are very high-end, the room is nice and tidy, the lighting is good, and the breakfast is good (meal coupon for sandwich in the cafe next door) shortcoming: There is a kitchen in the room. Occasionally, there will be a little smell wafting out, maybe a few times (I thought it was us, but it wasn't), and it is a bit inconvenient...

Too much regulation, need to put key at front desk when go out every time! Cant leave luggage after check out.

The location is close to the Kyoto business district of Shijo. Those who drive themselves should pay attention to parking issues. Parking fees in Kyoto are not cheap. The connecting rooms are very convenient for family travel. The hotel is neat and clean.

The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find, I drove around the blocks three times before getting in. The location is excellent, with the tower so close by. The room was clean and well‑equipped, and the washer/dryer was really convenient after several days of travel. The only Downside was being charged about AU$2 for the laundry detergent.

Nice, big and comfortable room. Great service by the staff too and able to speak good English. Convenient with a mini mart just beside the hotel, drug store further down. A couple of food choices out of the touristy area. Nice place if you drive cos it’s hard to go to the tourist attractions without a vehicle as there is no train stations nearby.

Beautiful classic architecture and landscaping with koi pond. Very clean, comfortable and delicious vegan bento box. Staff were all very helpful. Wonderful way to fully experience the uniqueness of Kyoto.

The rooms are well-spaced, the hotel atmosphere rivals that of a 5-star hotel, and there are room usage instructions, which is very thoughtful.

A relaxing inn where you can feel the essence of Kyoto and spend a good time. I will definitely stay here again.

At night, the room was chilly. The air conditioner was set to a low setting, so I felt cold. I could see the five-story pagoda from outside, but I couldn't see anything from inside the room. The breakfast I was looking forward to was just a cold bento box that was delivered to my room. I felt lonely even though it cost 20,000 yen a night.

Nice hotel with nice rooms with a small living room; is quiet and clean. There is no reception 24h; so you have yo arrive before 22:00

Excellent apart-hotel with Japanese designed rooms with small kitchen, ideal for breakfast and small diners. Good services and great staff. A 10’ walk to Kyoto station. An amazing restaurant (very small and open only a few times a week) next door. Very recomendable.

Facilities: quite complete, with a small kitchen. Hygiene: OK, but the bedding provided is not very good, it feels not very clean. Environment: Average, in a residential area, about ten minutes walk from Kyoto Station. Service: OK, stayed for two nights, during which time the garbage was taken out and the bath towels were changed, that's all. The most expensive homestay I stayed in during this trip...

The hotal is clean and big, the checkin process is easy remember to check the email.

The place felt far from the station during the hot summer, but it wasn't that far if the weather was good, and it was really nice because it felt clean and luxurious from the entrance, and the front desk staff was also very friendly. It was exactly as the picture shows, and even though we had the sofa as a bed and stayed with 3 people, it was spacious and comfortable!

Room is clean and big enough for 4 people to stay. But the location is a little far away from Kyoto JR station and not easily to find. No staff after 18:00 and almost everything you need to handle by yourself.

The location of the accommodation was good. We were a few yards away from the Samurai Museum..a fantastic experience. There were 4 in our party - myself, my daughter, her partner and their 3 year old. The atmosphere in our apartment was relaxing and comfortable. Issi on reception welcomed us in perfect English and showed us around our apartment. I liked our little sofa, which for once wasn't an unstable...

Room is nice and cozy with cleanliness. It’s spacious and equipped with good facilities. Great location. Kind staff ready to help when needed. No outside facilities like hotels but not our problems. The big room and its surrounding area are good enough.

Great place to stay with family.

We visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Koyassan on our trip and this accommodation was our favorite!! We are a family of 4, including 2 college aged kids. This facility allowed us to be in one unit and hang out easily at nights like an AirBNB. We had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and LAUNDRY. The laundry in our unit was so helpful as we wanted to travel light. the machine did both wash and dry so you didn't...
