I don't know why, but I can't seem to remember staying here at all.

The hotel has a very authentic Japanese style, giving it a cozy, home-like feel. The hot spring baths are also great and free to use. Breakfast was very rich, and the rice, in particular, was delicious. The only downside is that breakfast starts quite early, and the room facilities are a bit basic, but overall, the value for money is still acceptable.

The hot bath and service were very satisfying. Soaking in the hot springs really helps wash away the day's fatigue. The front desk staff proactively helped with our luggage, which was excellent service. The only slight disappointment was that the futon mattresses on the tatami felt a bit old and had a faint smell.

It's okay. It's my second time staying here. I think it's the same room. It's a 1-minute walk to Slo and 5 minutes to Suba.Kyoto. So I highly recommend it. It's very close to the river and the price is reasonable.

Excellent location, a quiet oasis in the heart of the city.

I chose to stay at Pocket Hotel near Gojo Subway Station for my cherry blossom viewing trip in Kyoto. It was incredibly clean and hygienic, with separate accommodations and bathing facilities for men and women. I'll definitely stay here again next time. It offers excellent value for money and is very clean. Truly a great choice!

It feels like a boutique hotel but at a hostel price point, offering the perfect balance of privacy and community. This property was in the heart of it all but tucked away on a quiet side street. It has everything you could need in a stay. As if you were living in your very well appointed own apartment in the city. We especially loved the Japanese mattresses which were very comfortable for our kids and came with very nice bedding that made for restful sleep.

The location is great! The wifi was problematic though...we ended up using our own sim cards. Facilties are a bit old, especially the heating. There's only 4 settings, not like an aircon remote. But otherwise beds are comfy and there was sufficient space for luggages.

We stayed at this hotel during for two nights. 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station. The room is small, but quite clean. Friendly staff all time, no issue during our stay. Breakfast has a small but pleasant selection of food, including self cooking noodle bar and curry rice. I also noticed that they change some menu items daily. This property is good money worth choice.

Perfect, traditional Ryokan. Location was amazing, close to everything but still so peaceful and quiet. Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making great suggestions and recommendations, as well as the prettiest breakfasts I’ve ever eaten. Probably the best place I’ve stayed. This is such a unique little spot a walk away from cute shops, izakayas, the market, and the river. This old traditional inn has been renovated to feature two beautiful rooms that will surprise you in size. The hosts were thoughtful, very helpful and the breakfast was a great way to start our days. I have been indebted several times for more than 10 years. The hotel is located right outside the Otsu Station ticket gates. Entering the property is through the attached bar and restaurant. Most of the nearby restaurants seem to close around 11pm. There are no cooking utensils, but you can bring your own food and drink in the common areas. There are also pots and water dispensers, so we were able to eat cup ramen inside the hotel.

The room is clean, a little bit far from the BTS station but convenient. The management system is good. The bathroom is shared but well managed. The shared shower room has enough space.

The reception was very warm; there was even a Russian-speaking staff member who gave us detailed information about the hotel's surroundings. Thanks to him, we were able to find perhaps the best cento of our trip. The room's downsides included the windows not opening, the combined bathroom and shower, and short blankets. The room's advantages included power outlets by the bed.

I went there for lunch. It was a fine day, and the location was great. I was able to enjoy a relaxing meal in a calm atmosphere.
