The location is convenient, and the hotel staff are warm and thoughtful. I really liked it and will definitely come again next time! (The previous review was already very detailed, so I'm just leaving a quick comment as I saw a pending review here. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Kyoto!)

Traveling to Kyoto with my family, choosing to stay here was definitely the right decision. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station, which is incredibly convenient. The buffet breakfast is on the 17th floor, offering lovely views of Higashiyama and the Kamo River. The breakfast spread is quite extensive and the quality is good.

queit location to enjoy the authenticity of kyoto. it has everything we need, a well equipped gym, good size indoor pool and a hotpring spa. breakfast is very good. we had a room with terrace overlooking the city. beautiful and elegant. will be back!

It’s definitely the most remarkable New Year’s Eve experience we ever had, from the city luggage service, shuttle bus to the trail within the hotel. Food wasn’t just good it’s great we will come back and stay longer next time !

The environment is very good. Most of the service staff are Southeast Asians. Their service is not as meticulous as that of the Japanese, but it is also very good.

The hotel is nice. However, the weather was not so good. The hotel is not too far from Kyoto station but not close to any major attractions by walking. The decor is very stylish, but the bedding isn't great. The 'super king size bed' is actually two beds pushed together, and there's a big gap in the middle. We had to squeeze with our child on one side, which was really cramped. Plus, the bedding was too soft and offered no support, leaving me with a sore back for all three days of our stay.

Amazing luxury hotel in the best possible location south of Pontocho and across the bridge from Gion. Amazing stay. This was our first time experience at a Ryokan and we loved it. It was such a serene place, we loved it.
