The new annex has a free public bath on the second floor; you need your room key to enter, and women also have an additional code. After a day of exploring, the public bath was our favorite place to relax every evening

Though they still are in good condition, I don’t really know what happened within such a short time as the beginning and ending of 2017, where the supplies provided before, a full set of Shiseido body wash travelers’ set, now is gone as I came in December the same year

The hotel is incredibly well-located, just 200 meters from a subway station. A large supermarket is also conveniently situated about 200 meters to the right, and there's even another supermarket down a nearby alley

It's also not far from Nishiki Market and the shopping street, making it an excellent location. There's a free spa on the top floor, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel even has its own chapel

It was beautifully decorated with European and classy style. Take Exit 5 via Kyoto Ace hotel B2 life up to ground floor when you have luggages as JP mostly come with staircases

We came to Kyoto for three nights and checked into this wonderful hotel

It's within walking distance of a very large and bustling train station filled with shops, perfect for buying souvenirs, for example! There's also a shopping mall near the hotel, though we never made it there

However, the air conditioning in the dining area is incredibly strong; everyone was freezing, and some even came down in their jackets. We wore warm hoodies and still felt cold, which was uncomfortable

About a 10min walk from Kyoto Station. Room for one in the main building was the standard business hotel (Bed, table/desk, bathroom). Also has a side building/annex but not sure of the rooms there

its a little walking distance from the Kyoto station but closer to the other metro station. the facility has common bath and a massage place. Its relatively clean and the stay was good.

I was able to get rid of my large suitcase that I dragged around for 2 weeks and sent it to Haneda Airport allowing me to travel light for my last week which I was super grateful for

In a central yet quiet location next to shijo station (the main subway station in Kyoto), the triple bed rooms are massive, not just by Japanese standards but in general as well, with an amazing Vista on mount hiei and the surrounding eastern kyoto mountains

The walk to the hotel is inconvenient if we have big luggages. The hotel room is old but we love the room space. With 3 beds, we have plenty of walking space. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom

The hotel staffs should proactively ask if we are member of its hotel group. We bought souvenirs and forgot to show our member to get a discount

Saw the hotel right outside the subway exit and didn't want to drag my luggage around looking for another place. The location is super convenient, and the price was a great deal – the cheapest hotel I booked this week

Booked a triple room this time, and I'm really happy with the atmosphere here. It's super spacious! I slept very comfortably. They offer complimentary drinks and coffee in the pantry until 11 PM

They did provide a while range of selections - even ungai! Unfortunately, I didn’t really like the pillow/bed as I couldn’t sleep well. Overall, it is value for money so I might come back

They leave a bag on your door every day with a fresh bath towel, coffee and cup for the coffee maker; and you can use that bag to leave your used towel items to put outside your door for them to pick up

Likes: - Excellent location in Gion; right by the Gion bus stop; lots of places to eat/shop; a few steps away from the Yasaka Shrine and other landmarks - They give cute little things like a foldable comb and a nice wash towel (which I never got in any other hotel) - There's a press for pants on every floor - Water is replenished daily - Coffee is Starbucks Dolce pods - Comfy beds and nice pillows...

I think that is a great system. The room was cozy and just enjoy for my husband and I. He especially loved that you can adjust and turn the lights off/on directly from the headboard - very convenient!

One of the better APA hotels we have stayed at. We were originally in a smoking room. But they were able to switch us to a non-smoking room. We were very pleased with the rest of our stay there

The rooms were good size for two with overhead size luggage. No sense of overcrowded. Its located on the touristy part of Kyoto so expect crowds

The room, though small, was perfectly adequate for one person. The next morning, I woke up to snow and went to a coffee shop across the street for breakfast. The coffee and toast set for 480 yen was quite good!
