Good location and service

The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's very close to the station and right by a subway entrance. There's also a shopping mall nearby. It offers great value for money and might even be quieter than areas closer to Kyoto Station.

Room is small. Average breakfast. Available spa and sauna to guests. Washer drying available at x5 100¥ coins. Overall comfortable stay

I stayed with my wife and 5 months old son. The service was good. Clean, Decent amenities and good service. Would stay here again

The biggest drawback was the size of the room for the price we paid. We could not even open our suitcases on the floor. There is no water in your room, you have to go downstairs to have a drink of water.
Do not have breakfast there, it's too expensive (if you cannot eat everything) . There is a supermarket (LIFE) a few meters away with a very nice bakery.
The hotel do however have all the toiletries available next to reception counter. Also coffee in the mornings from 6.30am with water and juice. A sauna and a hot pool, but you have to be in your *************. Not suitable for everyone.
I enjoyed our bathroom the most, as the shower was amazing.

Clean and has their own bath house at the top floor that opens till 1am. Next door is 711 and also a large supermarket with in few minutes walk that opens til 12am. Location wise is just a bit far from the metro. Parking wise, there is a few around the back. Overnight Parking fee is a bit high and limited.

We really enjoyed our stay at Urban Kyoto Nijo Premium Hotel.
The service was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and kind. Our room was cozy, spotless, and had great sound insulation, which made it easy to relax after long, eventful days exploring Kyoto. We would gladly stay here again!

Excellent place to stay. Free public bath spa in the hotel.
Plus: PJs and extra toiletries like makeup remover, cotton pads provided.
Lunch: Good lunch buffet with homemade tofu. Value for money.
Laundry: Coin machine at 400 yen a cycle. Good value.
Venue: Walking distance to huge local supermarket, pharmacy and a nearby neighbourhood mall, BIV. Near the world heritage Nijio Castle. Bus stop just outside. Feels safe in coming back late as the hotel is just next to the main road.
