The location is convenient, and the hotel staff are warm and thoughtful. I really liked it and will definitely come again next time! (The previous review was already very detailed, so I'm just leaving a quick comment as I saw a pending review here. I'll definitely be back next time I visit Kyoto!)

Traveling to Kyoto with my family, choosing to stay here was definitely the right decision. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Kyoto Station, which is incredibly convenient. The buffet breakfast is on the 17th floor, offering lovely views of Higashiyama and the Kamo River. The breakfast spread is quite extensive and the quality is good.

The walk to the hotel is inconvenient if we have big luggages. The hotel room is old but we love the room space. With 3 beds, we have plenty of walking space. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom. The hotel staffs should proactively ask if we are member of its hotel group. We bought souvenirs and forgot to show our member to get a discount.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was also good. The hotel was pretty good overall. Its location is excellent, very close to Sanjusangendo Temple. The front desk staff, a lovely lady from China, was very thoughtful and helpful. The only minor drawback was that our room was quite a long walk from the elevator, which was a bit annoying.

The environment is very good. Most of the service staff are Southeast Asians. Their service is not as meticulous as that of the Japanese, but it is also very good.

The hotel is nice. However, the weather was not so good. The hotel is not too far from Kyoto station but not close to any major attractions by walking.  Terrence is comfortable with a nice view over the garden and Japanese not call amenities. Maiko performance are available on Tuesdays and Sundays. Food is good.

Although the room was small, it had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and the room was very clean. The location is quite convenient; Nishiki Market is less than a 10-minute walk away.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. It was exceptionally clean, beautiful rooms and excellent customer service. My friend got sick half way through the night and the hotel let us book a separate room at 01:00 in the morning. It was a great location so we would definitely stay again!

The location is generally not far from the city center, and there's a supermarket and subway station within a ten-minute walk. The decor is quite new, and the bathroom is spacious.

It's a bit of a walk from Karasuma Oike subway station. There's a small supermarket nearby, and a Family Mart and 7-Eleven a little further down the road. The room layout is a bit odd; it could have had more space, but the strange design makes it feel smaller than it is.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were cleaned everyday. It had a Nespresso (pixie) in the room with 2 free pods. The bed was comfy. I’m not a big fan of the pillows but I was able to sleep well anyway. The location is okay.

Loved this place. Best shower i have EVER taken. The water pressure was incredible. They had a full body shower system that completely relaxed me after a long day of walking and the ac was perfect on a hot night. Staff was very kind and the place was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, down a narrow alley way but hotel itself had a great atmosphere. Room was very nice and spacious, it came with quite a few amenities and food in the fridge. Staff were friendly and it was a good location to move around Kyoto walking towards more central food and shopping areas.

Excellent location, a quiet oasis in the heart of the city.

The service was friendly and fun every step of the way. They had fun sakura themed bingo and an infant play space in the common area. My kids (7 and 13) loved the bunks. The staff was also very thoughtful to ask if we needed sharps disposal and they made luggage service easy. Area was quiet and easy access from main subway stop.

I made a reservation for Deluxe one bed room Japanese apartment. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. There was a washing machine in the room. The hotel is located in a residential area, with a FamilyMart nearby. Although the hotel does not have its own parking, there is a paid parking lot located close to the hotel. Overall, it is  comfortable and convenient.

Experience was fantastic. Front desk were very friendly and helpful especially Arisa and Thinh. They both relentlessly helped to answer any queries and even cut short meal time to help. Both can speak more than one language. Made the stay so enjoyable and felt very well taken care of.

We love our stay at this place, Almost perfect The room was clean and as expected a bit small but LARGE for Japan . The only thing that I would change is Chairs and table to stay in the room are extra from my POV I would have remove a chair and a table and just leave the night stand and a chair to have a bit more of room for luggage But Everything was just perfect

This property was in the heart of it all but tucked away on a quiet side street. It has everything you could need in a stay. As if you were living in your very well appointed own apartment in the city. We especially loved the Japanese mattresses which were very comfortable for our kids and came with very nice bedding that made for restful sleep.

MIMARU is a top-notch hotel chain with locations across Japan, always a reliable choice. I've personally stayed at their Akasaka (Tokyo), Nihonbashi (Tokyo), and another branch in Kyoto. Highly satisfied, absolutely flawless.

It's about a 5-minute walk from Takashimaya, making it very convenient to get to Osaka by bus. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but you can buy some bread nearby. There's also a microwave in the room. Overall, it's a good choice.

Amazing luxury hotel in the best possible location south of Pontocho and across the bridge from Gion. A huge room with a terrace and a sparkling large bathroom with a shower, wooden tub, and river views. Fridge stocked with beer and soft drinks and a washer-dryer for longer stays. None of this comes cheap but go and enjoy.

One of our best hotels stays. The rooms are spacious. Ironing, washing, drying facilities are all provided(sone at a small fee). The location is a 10 minutes walk to Nishiki market and larger malls and it’s very convenient to access Shrines in Osaka, metros stations from here.

Super duper love this hotel! There’s free flow sake till 9pm daily. We stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed sake almost every night. We stayed at this hotel during for two nights. 15 minutes walk from Kyoto station. The room is small, but quite clean. Friendly staff all time, no issue during our stay. Breakfast has a small but pleasant selection of food, including self cooking noodle bar and curry rice. I also noticed that they change some menu items daily. This property is good money worth choice.
