Reviews
We stayed in the “Oyama” room which was great. First it is in a great location which is only a few minutes from and to the station and grocery store. It has many great places to eat and things to do around the area, and the hostess gave us many good recommendations.
The price was great as it was around the same price we booked for many of our other hotels, but this was much nicer and a much more enjoyable stay.
It has its own kitchen with a full size fridge. All the pots, pans, and plates are here which was really nice for making breakfast in the morning and it came with water and soda too. Alcohol was available to purchase in the fridge as well. Do keep in mind there is no food services as this is more of an air b&b style, which was really nice for us. There are also many cafes around to grab breakfast and restaurants for lunch and dinner.
The beds were traditional Japanese beds, but very comfortable and it was great to sleep on.
The bath was amazing. 10000% one of the most relaxing bath/jacuzzi combos I’ve been in. It has temp controls and it could fit me fully (5’ 11”) which was really nice.
It also had its own washer and dryer which was nice, just make sure to not fill it to the brim and do small batches at a time if you have a lot of laundry, otherwise you will need to run the dry cycle a few times.
Everything had English translations which made it very easy to know how to operate everything. In addition the hostess showed us how to operate everything before she left.
Over all this place is a solid 10/10 and I will be staying here again when I’m in Kyoto. I highly recommend anyone staying in Kyoto to stay here as it was a really great stay.
The price is reasonable and the service is good. There are two supermarkets nearby and it is close to the subway and other railways. The transportation is convenient.
It is very quiet at night away from the busy area.
I will stay here again if I have the chance.I may change to other room types to experience.
We loved the jacuzzi set up, perfect night stay!
The ceiling of the living room is high and there is a feeling of liberation. I felt that the old materials and the modern interior were well integrated.
The kitchen facilities and laundry are also substantial, so it is convenient for long-term stays.
We would like to thank all the staff for their polite response.
It is a large one-story room with atmosphere, amenities, tableware, frying pan, chopsticks, etc. ◎
Tea, water and coffee were included free of charge, and there were extra towels. Personally, I was happy that I had a lot of towels.
The supermarket was near, so I went shopping at the supermarket for breakfast.
The staff were very kind, friendly and easy to interact with, and it was a very good trip ◎
If you have another chance, you'll want to stay at this inn ◎
I made a reservation from Rakuten Travel and was able to stay in a nice room at a great price. The correspondence was very good and I was able to spend a pleasant trip. I hope I can come again!
