The room was clean and the hygiene was good.
The location was nice as well. I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel.

However, I had a very bad experience on the last day.

First, I admit that I was late for check-out. The check-out time is 10:00 AM, and I was having breakfast outside. I returned to the hotel around 10:30 AM. When I spoke to the front desk, I realized that I was already late. I immediately went back to my room and packed my things as quickly as possible so that I could check out.

When I went down to the reception, they charged me 1,000 yen for a late check-out fee. I informed the front desk, but they told me that they really could not waive the fee for me.

I felt very disappointed and surprised, because I don’t think I caused any disruption to your operations. At that time, the cleaner had not knocked on my door yet, and even the room next to mine had not been cleaned.

The hotel is close to restaurants, cafes, and just a short walk from the subway. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly helpful when I lost my passport — they contacted the airport and the consulate for me. Really grateful!

Very small room but only needed it to sleep we were out most of the day.

Very small room, no English speaking staff. Different price for room than listed online. Difficult to utilize breakfast room as promised for sketch group. Had to pay an extra night for staying 4 hours past checkout time.
Good location next to a 7-11, walking distance for markets, department stores.

If you're using google maps to find it, use the 7/11 as your landmark, it's on the first floor and the hotel starts on the third floor. A great experience, staff was kind and courteous. The hotel is very quiet, and there's a way to check the coin laundry on the smart TV in the room to see when machines are available and when to collect that's super convenient.

It's a really excellent location too, Shinsaibashi connects easily to the other major stations as well as having just a ton to do around the hotel itself. We really enjoyed our experience.

APA Hotel Namba Kita Shinsaibashi Ekimae is a hotel close to a subway station and conveniently located for sightseeing and business.
The rooms are simple but equipped with Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a kettle, making for a comfortable stay.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and everything was delicious.
The room was clean and I was able to stay comfortably.

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the Nankai Line Namba Train station. Therefore it is well connected to the Osaka Kansai airport (55 minutes on Nankai Line for 980 yen). It is also near to the Itami AirPort Express Bus station (it takes about 20-25 minutes and cost 650 yen). It is in the heart of the most visited tourist spots in Osaka. You can walk from the hotel to Dotonbori, Shinsaibasha and Kuromon Market. It is a typical APA hotel with its small floor area but compactly furnished. The morning buffet breakfast at 1700 yen is also a good choice.

Excellent hotel - good size room and bathroom with lots of thoughtful amenities. Location is perfect, right in the heart of the fascinating Shinsaibashi area. Staff were lovely and very efficient. Great value all round.

People at the front desk are patient and respectful. The suite can be a bit more clean though.

For the money, this was an excellent hotel. The room was just big enough, the bed was comfortable. And the room amenities were very nice. Reception took just a few minutes and I ended up nicely rested and cleaned up for the next day.
