Hearton Hotel Kitaumeda in Osaka

The room was clean and the location wasn't too far from the Umeda shopping district on foot. The price was reasonable, and they even stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The staff were also quite friendly. We bought a lot of things, so we sorted the packaging bags (paper, plastic, etc.) and left them neatly in the room. We noticed other rooms also had various packaging sorted and placed by the door. However, as other reviews mentioned, the room is very small, making it difficult to open large suitcases – we managed to open ours with some effort under the desk. The Neel Coffee shop nearby is absolutely amazing and very Instagrammable.

The hotel is just steps from Nakatsu Station, with a convenience store right next door. The location is excellent, the room was impressively spacious, clean, and quiet. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. A pleasantly surprising stay overall.

The hotel is new and a large, reputable establishment. The service is warm and attentive, and the rooms are well-equipped and very clean. Although the rooms are small, they are well-designed and perfectly functional. The location is convenient; it's a 200-meter walk to the subway station. Shopping is also easy, with the core Umeda shopping district just an 800-meter walk away, plus many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic, with plenty of options for dining, drinking, and shopping nearby. If you're staying in Umeda, I highly recommend it. It's also super convenient for airport transfers; the Hankyu Hotel stop for the airport bus to Kansai International Airport is only about a ten-minute walk away.

The hotel is a large building, feeling like a business-style hotel, but the rooms are a bit dated. In Japan, it's a case of 'small but perfectly formed,' with quite comprehensive facilities.

Overall, considering the location, it feels like a good value for money option.

The room was a bit small, but other than that, I'd still recommend it. Each floor has a water dispenser, which is convenient. It's about a 15-minute walk from Osaka Station and close to Hankyu Sanbangai. There are convenience stores, a Blue Bottle Coffee, izakayas, and Daikoku Drugstore nearby. The area felt very local, safe, and generally had a better vibe than Namba. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, though after three days, it got a bit repetitive (the grilled fish was good, but be cautious with the takoyaki!). If you don't opt for breakfast, there are several nice cafes along the way to Hankyu & Osaka Station. P.S. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the translator didn't work well either, but their attitude was excellent.

The location is excellent, just about 200 meters from Exit 4 of Nakatsu Station on the Midosuji Line, which is a major line, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding area is quite upscale, so there aren't many dining options directly nearby. You'll need to walk a bit south towards Umeda for more choices. The hotel facilities are very clean and well-equipped, and the Wi-Fi speed is particularly good.
