Hotel Osaka Castle in Osaka

This is my second time using this hotel. I needed to go to OMM for work, so it was very close and convenient.
There's a connecting walkway when the shopping mall is open,
making it convenient for shopping. Even if you come empty-handed, you can find everything you need at Daiso, supermarkets, Nitori, and more.
The room is clean and loungewear is provided.

I wish they had mentioned this if it was a hotel with a wedding venue. The guest rooms are on the same floor as the reception for weddings and other events, and are right in front of the elevator, so it's awkward for both of us. You have to go past the reception to get to the guest room floor, so that's also a bit of a concern. The sign saying where the guest rooms are is small, so you might end up heading towards the wedding venue.
It would be helpful if the front desk could tell us...
The building is old, but the bathroom seems to have been renovated, so it's very clean. I'm also happy that the shampoo and other products are POLA!
It might be fine if you're just going to sleep, like coming at night when no one is there and leaving in the morning. It's tough when you come to put your luggage away in the daytime and run into a ceremony.

Was surely a grand hotel when opened in 1967. As of 2024 there is a major problem: no temperature control in the room. It was just far too warm and I couldn’t open the window. So I checked out after just one night.

Although the decoration of the hotel seems old -fashioned, the room is clean and the staff members of the hotel are quite polite. The location is convenient as well and thus the hotel is still recommended.

Good location, directly west exit of keihan line. Everyday cleaning of room. Walking distance to parks, osaka castle and Japan mint museum. Staff are friendly and helpful, too
