This is probably the cheapest hotel I've ever stayed at. Solid 4 stars from me because it's literally $7. There is a 1000 yen key security deposit, but you get it back when you check out. You get a small room that basically only has enough space to lay down your bed and have a standing luggage. The bathrooms were fine (at least before someone peed on part of the seat) and the showers I didn't use, as I tried a local sento down the street instead.
I kind of get the feeling many homeless stay here due to the cheap price, but they don't bother you or anything. Walls are very thin, so expect someone snoring next door. The power switch that turns on the light and the appliances is actually on the outside of the room, so you gotta peak out to turn it on or off (which means no charging phone when the light is off). Surprising they have an elevator that goes up every other floor.
I only stayed here for one night as I had a late flight in, so can't say what a longer term experience would feel like. But if you understand what to expect, it's a crazy amount of money to be saving, cheaper than even capsule hotels.

Apologize not to write a good review. The location is not far from subway but a little bit creepy. We are given a room with 3 single matress and some blanket. The room is location beside a bike parking lot and you will hear dog barking a lot when someone is getting to the parking lot. There is toilet in the room but the shower is outside. The men shower is an open shared space, that means you shower with other men. The women shower is private but I see an old guy sitting and working in front of the women shower, a bit uncomfortable. The mattress and blanket are mouldy. Although the receptionist lady is very nice, the main turn off is no wifi at the room (its only on the lobby) and the room is so dusty that makes your asthma flared. I think this hotel is suitable if you are on a very very very thin budget and just need a place to sleep for some hours and move out fast. Otherwise you can check for more proper hotel. Dont underestimate google user review.

Best bang for the buck.
Don't expect for a luxury hotel.
I took the cheapest room, the size of a bed and a smell table with a tv.
The matress and the linen were clean.
The room was relatively clean as well exept for the walls.
The part I didn't like about this plaxe is that they allow anyone to smoke in their rooms and in the public places, (reception, kitchen, hall, staircase etc...)

I booked my kids for an experience stay in a Japanese style room but it was disaster. The room is filled with stains, including the mattress. The hallway stinks and the air-conditioning is barely working in a hot summer season. Thankfully, Booking.com helped to cancel it on the spot without costs. The receptionist though is very apologetic and nice. The location is good but can't bear to stay there.

For the price its ok. But its overall not really clean. The showers and toilets are clean though so its fine. The first floor has an awful wet dog smell. Would recommend to people who are not picky. Wouldnt stay more than 3 nights there. Really small rooms. Staff is quite friendly. GREAT emplacement since its 10 sec away from the metro station. Takes 10 min to get to nipponbashi.

- Even in non-smoking rooms you can have smell of snoke on your clothes, washing in traditional bath is not for everyone, shower is only for women. Smell of wet dog fur downstairs and poop can be frustrating. In some places there is a thick layer of dust

+ Very cheap! You can ride a bicycle for free! Good service and welcoming hosts. There are a lot of stores and laundry in neighborhood.- Even in non-smoking rooms you can have smell of snoke on your clothes, washing in traditional bath is not for everyone, shower is only for women. Exactly as advertised. For 10 bucks a night I have a mattress and privacy. The room is simply a box, with a single powerpoint. There is no fan, no air-conditioning, so you either freeze or melt. But this is no hotel (ignoring the name), and it shouldn't live up to your expectations as a hotel.

Private room where the mattress practically does not fit.
The showers are on the main floor, the feminine ones inside a common room of the hotel.
It has an elevator, which is appreciated, but only goes to floors 1-3-5 and 7.
It is very well located, offers luggage storage service and the room is very economical.
