Great quiet location a mere 5 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Ikebukuro. Staff were excellent. Check in was quick. Free amenities at reception. Washing/dryer machines also located in reception (coin and app operated). Room itself was typical for an inner city Tokyo hotel - ie tight and small. You can just about open 2 big suitcases on the floor, but you wont have much room to move. Modern toilet, hot and cold water shower was strong. Double bed was adequate. Wifi was strong throughout the building. Room had a window but was facing directly at the next building's wall. All 3 major conbini brands less than 5 mins walk away. Vending machine in reception and on the 9th floor. Cleaning was always done every other day. I would stay here again due to proximity to centre of Tokyo and transport links of Ikebukuro.

A bit far from JR Station, but it's quiet and there are a bunch of anime stores nearby. There's also a convenience store. Good value for money, and parking is available for 2400 yen a night, but you need to book it directly with the hotel.

The location is super convenient, just about a seven or eight-minute walk to Ikebukro Station. Shopping and dining nearby are also very accessible. Although the hotel room is a bit small, it's well-equipped and very clean. Overall, it's a hotel with excellent value for money!!

The hygiene was impeccable, facilities were complete, and the front desk staff was very patient. The room was cleaned meticulously, and fresh towels were delivered punctually every day. It was very comfortable for a solo traveler, and the location was quite convenient.

Hotel prices nowadays in Tokyo are sky high so we decided to stay here. Incredible value in a really good location.  Sunshine city is just a few minutes away and it’s only a 7 minute walk to Ikebukuro station. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a value and budget pic

Rooms are really small, you can get better rooms closer to main area at this price. It’s a bit far from the MRT. Not worth the money.

Very good view of Mt Fuji and lake, and great breakfast with Fuji view.
Went for a night for international buffet and there is also an alcohol buffet available too.
At the right time, I think this might be good for Milky Way astrophotography.
There are also onsens available and shuttle buses to travel to the station since the location will be more accessible if you are driving there.

For anime fans, the location is absolutely fantastic. Animate is just a two-minute walk away. It's even closer than the Ikebukuro Prince Hotel where we previously stayed. The price is also significantly more affordable. However, during our five-night stay, the nightly rate fluctuated quite a bit, dropping from over 600 to just over 300. It would be even better if the prices were more consistent going forward.

The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Check-in was easy, and it was great to have a smoking room on the ground floor.
