Meitetsu Inn Hamamatsucho in Tokyo

Location is great as it’s close to multiple train lines, can walk to the station to different directions. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Every time I come to Tokyo, I stay here. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and tidy. The only drawback is the 10 AM check-out.

Everything is perfect, and will definitely be my choice when I visit Tokyo next time.

The room size is small but it is known before booking. There is a small bath tub.

Glad that they provided drip coffee packets, teabags, toiletries and pajamas. They also have snacks.

Amazing views of Tokyo Tower! The hotel is close to multiple subway lines, making it very easy to get around. There are lots of dining options and a FamilyMart downstairs. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

This hotel was an amazing experience! The hygiene was impeccable, the facilities were brand new, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. My friend and I had a super comfortable stay. Plus, its location in Hamamatsucho made getting around incredibly convenient. Highly recommended~

We’re always happy to return back to this Meitetsu location. There’s a direct connection to both airports while but the fastest it’s a very affordable option and we can’t complain. It’s also only a few stops away from Shinagawa station to catch the bullet train but that in itself is another topic.

Back to the hotel, it’s within 5 min walk from the closest elevator access point from Daimon station. There are plenty of delicious food options all around. If you need to catch any destinations serviced by Hamamatsucho station, that station is very close by.

Check in was a breeze and the staff were very professional confirming our information. The free amenities are always great to have. The rooms itself are great value for the price. Not too big but not too small either for a standard Japanese hotel.

I can’t recall but the last time I was here there was only one WiFi network servicing the entire hotel. Now there are individual connections per room which we never had issues with.

If you need any quick snacks there’s a convenience store outside the ground floor lobby that’s easy to access.

As a light sleeper, noise was acceptable. If a door was shut too loudly you’d hear it but this rarely happened. Outdoor road noise is mostly filtered out but if it a loud car or an emergency service vehicle is passing by, you’ll hear it.

I did hear subtle plumbing noise but it only happened once. I never noticed this before though so it’s probably a one off minor issue.

If you don’t want to go all the way down to the ground floor for an extra drink, there is a vending machine with limited options in the laundry room on the 6th floor.

My only major complaint was the pillow availability. I couldn’t seem to get much comfort out of any of them and trying to combine any also didn’t help much.

The bed is also firmer than what I’m used to so that also could’ve been a factor. I didn’t ask for additional pillows of a certain type. I was hoping to either get used to one of the combinations but I couldn’t figure it out. This isn’t discouraging me from staying here in the future though. All the other positives about this location outweigh the cons.

As is true with traveling in general, book as far ahead in advance as you can. I did make an extension request to this hotel via the app which was granted but I couldn’t extend it further I’m assuming because there was no more availability or maybe they only limit you to one modification per guest?

Overall I’ll continue to consider this hotel in the future and recommend others to do so as well.

Pros:
1. **Excellent Location**: Very close to the Da门 (Daimon) subway station. You can walk to Tokyo Tower, and there are many great food options nearby.
2. **Great Service**: The room was cleaned very well, and the luggage storage service was thoughtful. They even provided a sewing kit when we couldn't change our SIM cards.
3. **Good Views**: Located on a high floor with nice views from the window.

Cons:
1. **Small Room**: The room was tiny, making it difficult to open a 28-inch suitcase.
2. **Smoke Smell**: There was a faint smell of smoke in the room early in the morning.

I specifically booked the largest room for my trip with my elderly parents. The hotel is located in a quiet area but still very central, about 300 meters from the subway station, so it's easily walkable. If your flight arrives at or departs from Haneda Airport, this hotel is a top choice, offering convenient access to everything.

The location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk from Hamamatsucho Station, which is easily reachable by Monorail directly from Haneda Airport. There's a convenience store right on the ground floor, making it super handy for any quick purchases. Plus, there are lots of great restaurants nearby, and you can easily walk to Shiba Park for a view of Tokyo Tower.

The room itself is quite small. It would be a tight fit for two slender people, but it's absolutely perfect for a solo traveler. On the positive side, the air conditioning works wonderfully, and they provide excellent POLA brand toiletries.
