Yae no Midori Tokyo Hotel in Tokyo

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff is well-trained and very friendly.
The rooms are spacious; we stayed in a Superior Triple Room, which was very spacious considering Japanese standards.
The room was very clean, only the bathroom was a little small, but I'd say it was still acceptable. The room we were given was on the ninth floor and very quiet.
The buffet breakfast is served at the "Royal Host" restaurant located inside the hotel; vouchers were provided to use there. The selection was a bit limited (compared to European standards), but overall, the quality was good.
The staff was very attentive to our needs, they even arranged for our luggage to be transferred to Kyoto via Yamato.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the city. Hatchobori Station on the Hibiya Line and Keiyo Line is just steps away. A short 15-minute walk takes you directly to JR Tokyo Station.

If we were to return to Tokyo we would definitely return to this hotel

Hi, I am writing this email to thank Mr Mizutani for the great care and assistance shown to my family and I during our trip to Japan in late Nov to Dec 2025. Though we arrived late on the first day, he welcomed us warmly and patiently assisted to check us in and shared information on the hotel with us. He also gave a small rubber duck to entertain my kid while we completed our check in. During the duration of our stay, he also assisted us promptly with any queries we had regarding luggage storage, dry cleaning etc. He truly made us feel welcome during our stay at the hotel and is an exemplary staff for others to follow. The front desk lady with the black frame glasses should learn from Mr Mizutani and be patient when explaining information to guests. When I sought her assistance with dry cleaning, she showed the terms/ info on the iPad and took it away before I had the chance to finish reading. Thankfully, Mr Mizutani’s presence helped ensure that overall our stay at Hotel Sardonyx in Tokyo was excellent!

Hatchobori is a quiet place, yet a busy area with really close distance to city centre. Many private bars, izakayas and cafes. So staying here is really a good choice. There is a restaurant just below. Close to few Family Mart & Lawson. Great services with many complimentaries.
Important: close to train station.

Loved it, it was a great place to stay. Very quick to Tokyo central and Disneyland, good price and excellent room. Big difference in size of the room as well compared to other similar priced Tokyo hotels. One negative: breakfast was below standard, would not recommend. Think its part of the neighbouring Hostel, but did not impress

Very nice hotel with clean rooms and very polite personnel.
Been there for a few days and I have been working around Tokyo where the hotel location was ideal for moving around and doing my work easily.
The restaurant is very good and the meals are excellent.
I will definitely choose this hotel in my next visit in town.

Toilet's lever was shaky was almost broken, but beside that best hotel. also luxury restaurant is accessible directly from the hotel.

Nice staff, room was very clean.
Big window in our room for our 18 month old son to enjoy looking out.
If you drive here, and have anything bigger than a K car. No parking for you.
There are parking lots, and they are as expensive as the room for 1 night

15mins walking distance from Tokyo station in a straight line. Nice little restaurant connected to the hotel. Rooms are much bigger in comparison with typical business hotels in Japan
