U-Hotel Takadanobaba in Tokyo

Overall good value for price

The location is a bit of a stretch, but...

I think it couldn't be better for an accommodation in Tokyo at this price point!

Thanks to you, I had a great stay.

- stayed here for 7+ days.
- Had a washer/dryer combo machine (you may have to dry 2x or hang to air dry). Make sure you buy your own laundry detergent!
- had loads of towels, kitchen utensils, fridge, kitchen sink
- 5 min walk from Takadanobaba Station
- the neighborhood looks not as great but the rooms are excellent!
- you will pass a Family Mart and 7/11 from the train station! Food convenience!
- Noticed the rooms 102 and 103 have outside entrance doors. Whereas the other rooms, you have to open the main entrance to enter into your room.
- no elevator!
- the owner replies within 1 business day. You have to request housekeeping in advance but they just replace the trash can bags and provide more towels. Very nice owner!

Small room but enough space to pack up your bags if you put all three beds together. We made sure to get a room on ground floor which had its own entrance. Very comfortable beds and modern/clean room. Great location near JR Takadanobaba.

Great location near Takadanobaba station. Room was kinda small for 3 people, but very clean and tidy. Bathroom was neat and elegant. There are cool nearby cafés like Delifrance and amenities like arcade centers.

I saw that there were service and reservation issues because it was unmanned, but we didn't have any reservation issues and the password to enter was sent to our email.

There were three of us, and although the room seemed small, it was okay. I used it like that because it was convenient to open the carrier and put it under the bed. There were also cooking utensils, so it was nice to be able to cook simple meals.

The cleanliness was okay, and the location was a bit confusing at first, but it was close to the station and good. There is an overpass next to it, so it's pretty if you take pictures at night. I recommend it because it's good for taking pictures.

There are many reviews that say it's noisy because it's next to the railroad, but I was okay with it. I wouldn't recommend it if you're sensitive to noise, but I'm someone who enjoys the noise of everyday life ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Oh, but the stairs and hallways were really narrow. When checking out, I had to drag my heavy carrier down, but it was so narrow that I just dragged it down, and one of the wheels flew off. Of course, this is my fault because I'm weak, not the hotel's fault. If you go, be careful... .

Still, the price is cheap, the location is good, it's clean, there are a lot of outlets, and I'm very satisfied. I would like to go again next time I come to Tokyo.
