Overall, a solid choice for a family stay. The hotel is conveniently located just behind Akasaka Metro Station, which offers excellent connections to other parts of the city. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of minimarkets, restaurants, and cafés, making it easy to find something to suit any taste.

The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, with enough space to open our luggage—something not always guaranteed in city hotels. The bed was large and comfortable (double bed), easily accommodating two people.

I rated the service a 3 mainly due to the breakfast, which was below the standard I would expect from a Best Western. We tried it once, and that was enough to opt for a local café for the rest of our stay. That said, the reception staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had a request. We arrived late on our first night, and the check-in process was smooth and well organized despite the late hour after a long flight.
Overall, I would consider staying here again.

I use to come here 2 years ago and I love mood, good price and nice location

It's okay, but:
Most of the rooms are small, also it's a very busy street, so there is smelll of food (for some people it's bad when you want a quiet, peaceful place. And some people don't like the smell of food) it's loud on Fridays. BUT: The metro is close!

Great location, close to Subway, clean rooms and friendly reception.

Pros:

Friendly and welcoming reception.

Luggage storage available on the day of arrivals and day of departure free of charge. Storage is hidden and safe and you get a number tag.

Free water, bathroom amenities (toothbrush, disposable face towels, hair brush, razor etc.), extra tea bags and instant coffee (which you already have in your room, but in case you need extra) and sample size beauty products (face cream, toner, face cleaner and facial oil from the Japanese brand DHC) where the reception is on the second floor.

The room is comes with a Japanese bath rope/night gown and new disposable slippers.

Great location, close to two Subway stations. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, pharmacies and convenient stores right outside.

Safety due to limited access to hotel floors. Only able to use the elevator to the rooms with room key, so strangers can't freely access the hotel.

They will send a reminder call to your room on your day of checkout if you are 15 minutes late (they did not charge us late fee but may if you are late beyond that). They were very friendly and good attitude despite checking out late for a few minutes. That's good customer service in opinion.

Cons:

No free breakfast, not even a light one, unlike some other hotels nearby (e.g. Grandbell Hotel down the street). However, you can pay extra for a breakfast. If you pay in advance it's better price than on the same day.

Room was fairly small, so if you have a lot of luggage you will feel a bit cramped. We got the standard double twin room for two people but it may be more spacious if you opt for a premium room.

Very decent hotel in a great location. It is super close to two major Subway stations, within 5 minutes of either one. The room itself was fairly small, especially considering we paid for a larger Superior double room, so I can only imagine how much smaller the regular ones are. However, it was still a lovely room with a fantastic view overlooking the city. The area itself is super busy for locals and tourists alike, with tons of great restaurants and amenities close by. The room itself was nice and clean, and the cleaning service did a fantastic job of restoring our room part way through our stay. The free toiletries they offer were sparse but we didn't really need them anyways, I only mention it because a few of the other hotels we stayed at had a far superior selection available.
There is a complimentary breakfast service you can opt in for or pay for depending on how you book your room, but we found it wasn't really worth it. It's a pretty basic Continental style with very limited options. We tried it out on the first day and then spent the rest of the week just buying our own fruit, croissants, and drip coffee to have in the room upstairs. It was a lot cheaper than the 20 bucks each for their continental breakfast.

We booked it through booking.com so we got a fairly decent price on the room. I would stay there again.

The location has its pros and cons.

Pros: close to the metro, lots of food choices close by
Cons: crowded/busy street with an active night life

The check in process was arduous; expect to pay a 600¥ tax on top of what you already paid.

Unfortunately, there are minimal amenities included (basic hygiene products, instant tea/coffee, wifi and water on the 2nd and 5th floor). There is a vending machine and coin laundry on site.

The room size is descent for a Japanese style hotel. However, as others have mentioned, you have to rearrange furniture to accommodate your suitcase or personal items. My room had random black hairs all over the bedding and night stand… there’s also spots of black mold creeping out of the corners of the shower. You can easily hear other guests talking and carrying on from the main floor corridor at all hours. There’s only one elevator that provides access to the guest floors for the entire hotel. It’s slow or overworked, so expect to wait.

The good qualities of the hotel are the following: the AC functioned properly and that the breakfast was great. Pro tip, pay ahead for breakfast (the price is better than paying the day of). Also, the older gentleman working the breakfast area was kind and helpful.

Other than that, this place isn’t worth the price. I’d stay somewhere else.

Location is in between 2 stations so it was convenient to get around to places, just need to get used to the size of Japan hotel rooms.
