Staying at the Hamacho Hotel this spring felt like a true homecoming. Having used to live in this exact neighborhood, I had been eyeing this gorgeous design hotel for a while. I was thrilled to finally book it—especially after finding such fantastic pricing for my spring trip. It turned out to be the perfect blend of nostalgic comfort and boutique luxury.

Why I Loved My Stay

* The Perfect Location: It is conveniently located right opposite the 24-hour Peacock supermarket and Hustle Ramen closing at 4am; late-night snack never been easier!

* Neighborhood Favorites: The hotel is surrounded by great local spots, including the artisan bakery Django, which used to be my absolute go-to when I lived here.

* Morning Jog Routine: I loved being right next door to the Sumida River, allowing me to easily rehash my daily morning jogs along the water.

* Stunning Botanical Design: The property is beautiful, styled with lush indoor plants, warm wood tones, and a signature relaxing scent.

* Delightful Perks: I loved the unique touches like the on-site artisanal chocolate shop and the complimentary aromatherapy bath salt bar for a post-jog soak.

* Unbeatable Spring Value: Given how premium the experience felt, the pricing this season was an absolute steal.

Some Helpful Tips

* Cozy Room Size: Since standard rooms here are quite compact—typical for Tokyo—I usually get lots of hangers from room service to unpack. I store my empty luggage at concierge. This is only helpful if you stay for a couple of nights.

A really great hotel, honestly feels like it deserves a higher star rating. The room was cleaned every day, and they provided drip coffee packs daily as well. There’s also free bath salt you can customize and make yourself, which was a really nice touch. The staff at the reception were very attentive — they checked us in before 3 PM and gave us a high-floor room just like we requested. The nearest metro station is 10-15 min by foot, so be ready to walk a little. Very pleasant hotel overall, good sound insulation, and there’s even a water dispenser in the room, loved that.

The hotel was clean and nice, and it’s conveniently located near TCAT, making it easy to travel to and from the airport. There is also a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which is a real lifesaver. However, the nearest train station is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. If you’re a shopaholic or planning to travel during bad weather, this could be inconvenient.

This hotel is excellent! There's a direct shuttle bus from Haneda Airport that drops you off just a five-minute walk away. The hotel itself is very clean and well-designed. The Japanese-style breakfast buffet is fantastic, really superb. The rooms are a bit small, but that's typical for Tokyo hotels. There are two subway stations about a 15-minute walk from here, and right outside there's a bus stop where you can catch a bus to Disney and just transfer once, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel can also help with luggage delivery.

The room, while not huge by international standards, was perfectly equipped. We managed to fit two suitcases comfortably, the bedding was very cozy, and all the facilities felt brand new. The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly; we had an early flight, and since there was an available room, they allowed us to check in our luggage ahead of time. This area is residential, so it's very quiet and comfortable, with a great surrounding environment and lots of delicious food options, including several popular 'internet-famous' spots. It's super close to the Tokyo City Air Terminal, about a 5-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient for catching flights to Haneda or Narita airports. There are three subway lines nearby, all a bit of a walk, but it's manageable.

Hotel location is located very close by to T-CAT. Convenient to take the airport limousine bus to and fro from haneda airport. There are many eateries close by as well. Besides that, we could also cross the bridge closeby or take a stroll along the river to enjoy the view.

Got the room facing the main road so slightly noisy with sirens at night, but other than that it was excellent .

This room is spacious so it can easily fit 2 big check in luggage and 2 hand carry opened on the floor. And we still have space to walk around! The floor is on the lower level so the view is not as great. But the space makes up for it. Great location, great staffs, just need some cleaning with the dryer and I would give it a 5 out of 5

It is very convenient from T-CAT via the airport limousine bus, and there are 3 supermarkets in the area. will definitely stay here again!
