Oak Hotel Edo - Hostel in Tokyo

I stayed in the dormitory for 4 nights and had a great time! I really only came back to sleep or drop stuff off but it was a great home base. The bunk bed was pretty spacious and they had two plugs and a personal light per bunk. The personal lockers aren’t too big, they could fit a small backpack and some other items, but everyone put their big luggage in the back behind the bunk beds where there was plenty of room. I would recommend locking your more expensive things in the locker, though I didn’t experience any issues with stolen items. There are full showers and toilets on the second and third floor. There’s also a shared powder room with three sinks and mirrors in the dorm. Location wise, it’s very close to a couple train stations that usually aren’t too busy. Even has a great view from the 10th floor. They also have detergent-less coin washers and dryers in the other room next to the entrance. The staff was very helpful with any questions and even provided a map with recommended nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay in Tokyo.

The service was fantastic and staff member Taro in particular has gone out of his way three times and shown fantastic customer service. I just asked if there was any Yaki Imo shop nearby and he went and called the convenience stores one by one to ask if they sell it. When I forgot my laptop on the shared kitchen table, he figured out it was mine and brought it to my room. When I needed to check in with my new guesthouse, he helped call them and arrange transportation alongside staff member Mikio.

This is our second time staying at Oak Hotel Edo and we were greeted with a very sweet welcome card written by the staff.

We enjoyed both our stays at this quiet and clean hotel. The hotel is only 2 minutes away from Morishita Station and has several convenience stores and eateries around it. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. We will definitely choose to stay here again when we come back to Tokyo!

It's perfectly fine if you're just looking for a place to sleep.

With a train station and bus station a block a way the location is excellent, there’s also plenty of restaurants nearby and a laundry room right outside the lobby.

We stayed here for 5 nights, staff were extremely helpful, they provided recommendations and tips on how to get to the airport with luggage.

The rooms were on the smaller side and it wouldn’t be an issue but there’s not that much space for big suitcases, other hotels have raised beds that allow to place all your luggage under them.
Each room has a very small balcony but unless you’re in the upper floors, you just get to see the back street.

Overall, it’s a great hotel for the price, would definitely stay here again.

I had such a wonderful stay here! All the staff were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. When I wasn’t feeling well, they helped me find a pharmacy and even arranged for me to move to another room so I could rest more comfortably. I was really touched by their kindness. 💛

The housekeeping staff were also very nice, polite, and did an excellent job keeping everything clean. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the whole hotel was very clean and peaceful - perfect for relaxing.

The location is great, close to the train station, restaurants, and convenience stores, so it’s very easy to get around. They also provide yukata to wear, and all the amenities you need. The staff speak English very well, which is super helpful for travelers.

I felt so warm and cared for during my stay. I’ll definitely come back again, and I’ve already recommended this hotel to my Thai friends. Such a lovely and heartwarming place to stay! 🥰

The staff are very nice and accomodating. The ameneties are good. They even give out free soup aside from the usual coffee and etc. You can even cook you own food here. The laundry is just right next door. I recommend the Hotel both for solo and group travellers.

Incredible facilities, great view of the Tokyo Skytree from the 10th Floor of the hotel. Great value for money, close to Morishita Station.
