Fukuoka, 12-18 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This is the best hotel for me in Fukuoka. Besides being very nice and clean, it is close to all the places I visit here. The best of all, the staff are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Grandolce Hakata to everyone.
I had a great stay at Hotel Grandolce Hakata. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, which made the experience even more pleasant overall.
The room is on the smaller side (typical of Japan hotel sizes) so it’s best suited for solo travelers. That said, it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay.
The location is a big plus. It’s near Tenjin Central Park and the Nakasu...
A centrally located hotel, with welcoming staff, great breakfast and the room was clean and quiet.
As a solo traveler, I was delighted to stay at this extremely well-located hotel with a beautiful view of Fukuoka. Furthermore, the welcome was very pleasant, and it was possible to request a luggage scale at reception, which was very convenient for me. The room has everything a solo traveler needs, but it might be a little small for two people due to luggage space.
The hotel room has a balcony with a view of the park. It's also conveniently located near the original Ichiran Ramen, which always has a queue, so I went at 8 AM to avoid the crowds. There's also a popular mentaiko restaurant across the street that's always packed with Koreans. The hotel was very quiet at night, ensuring a comfortable sleep. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped us send...
I was glad that the amenities were plentiful.
There was a particularly wide selection of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.

Unbeatable price with hot spring inside hotel. Unlimited ice cream and Yakult Drink. Clean and tidy. Traditional Ramen at nigt time before midnight.
Location is in the Center, nearby the subway.
Oh….. simply park the car next to hotel in 10 steps. HKD100 a day.
The location is excellent, peaceful yet central, right next to the Grand Canal shopping mall.
The room we stayed was quite small. With a double bed inside the room, there was hardly any room for us to move around. The room was smelly and I suspect they do not clean it too often. It was definitely not worth the price we paid for. We also asked for changing to a twin room but it could not be entertained.
The location is convenient and we love Dormy inn and everything. The onsen, breakfast and free ramen supper. Dormy inn never fail us.
Good breakfast and onsen. But the rooms are too small for a Dormi Inn, which carries the Premium label.
Overall, we love this chain for the quality they provide and the onsen in every hotel.
Not so valuable for this price, the room is quite small

Location is great. Can walk under the roof for most of the way from Hakata station. Friendly staff. Pretty clean inside with the necessary items. Comfortable stay. I'd book this hotel again the next time I visit Fukuoka.
The location is very convenient to train station and shopping areas.
Cozy and Small hotel located very convenieny to the train station. Highly recommended
Twenty four hour super kind and friendly staff. I was not aware that the hotel is so dated. The laundry machine is for use 24 hours on the basement One level, however, there is no AC. It is in the corridor and very hot And there is only one washing machine and one dryer. In summertime It is extremely hot there and also, quite scary to go alone outside restaurant hours. Shower head was faulty had to...
Good location! Very close to Hakata station, the room is bigger than I think.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a lively neighborhood and close proximity to the station. My room had a window and faced the street, but it was surprisingly quiet even with the window closed. The only downside was a slight odor coming from the bathroom. The room size was perfectly acceptable as well.
They served the best breakfast ever, i really enjoy the motsunabe prepared by the hotel!
A little small for 2 but overall good stay, shower was good
Highly recommended. Hotel location is great, easy to access the tourist points. There is a great shopping mall near the hotel! So convenient!!
The room was great, and the location is superb – within a 10-minute walk to both Hakata and Tenjin shopping districts. The bathroom was quite spacious for Japan. The cleaning service was meticulous, with fresh towels provided daily. The service was very attentive and thoughtful. I'll definitely be back next time!
The room is smaller than Matsuyama
But the service is much much much better than Matsuyama!

Fukuoka, 2-8-19 Hakataeki-minami (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Breakfast was perfect.
The bed was king-size and spacious and comfortable.
Because I checked in late at night, I didn't go to the hot springs and instead took a shower in the bathroom in my room, but it was very small and the curtain didn't stick to the tub, so it stuck to my body while I was washing, which was very uncomfortable.
The toilet also smelled bad.
I'm grateful that there is a large public bath.
I was surprised to find that the sink was broken. It was usable, but I was happy to be able to watch TVer and YouTube.
When I checked in, I was told that my reservation had not been made, which left me frozen for a moment. I'm worried about why I couldn't check in smoothly.
About 15 minutes from Hakata Station... It's a pleasant walk.
I frequent this hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, so keep that in mind.
The onsen is located on the basement level and breakfast is free.
It's a bit of a walk from Hakata Station, but it only takes about 15 minutes if you just wander around, so it didn't bother me. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned both inside and out, which is a minus. However, there is an artificial radium hot spring underground, which was very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families or couples, but it's perfectly OK for business trips and solo travelers...
I had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The hotel is a bit old but has everything you need and the staff is very kind. The breakfast was amazing too!

This Hotel is extremely recommended for the proximity to Hakata Station. Very convenient for the free coffee and amenities as well.
The room was small but clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, close to the station, and there's a convenience store nearby. It's also very handy for shopping, dining, and exploring. Very satisfied!
Good place to stay in Fukuoka, near the Hakata station. Room is not too big but comfortable. The hotel have own hot bath facilities but is too small and the water is not too clean.
The slippers provided were reusable cloth ones, and as someone who's particular about hygiene, I really regretted not bringing my own. The cleanliness was good, but not outstanding, especially since they only clean every three days. Since I was only staying for three days, I just left the trash bin outside my door daily for them to empty. Breakfast was basic; honestly, when staying in Hakata, you can...
I really loved the location as it is extremely convenient and very close to Hakata Station. The hotel offers a breakfast with a variety of pastries, which is very convenient to take away, especially on days when you need to leave early for trips outside the city. There is also an onsen in the hotel, which was excellent and very relaxing.
The location is quite good but there is only one lift and the breakfast spread is not fantastic

This hotel was pretty entertaining, check in would have been a breeze if we booked only one room. the check in is seamless, all automated while the velociraptors look at you. we needed some assistance since both rooms were under one name and the system cannot accept one name for both rooms. the attendant was promptly notified by the check in machine itself and we received assistance quickly. as with...
The hotel's location is convenient for shopping. The breakfast is a simple meal, with homemade gimbap. I booked a concept room which had some special clothes hanging there, but I didn't pay much attention to them, so they didn't really add much. The bathroom's dry and wet separation was quite convenient.
Stayed at Henn na Hotel Fukuoka Hakata and had a great experience. The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was clean, modern, and the check-in process was smooth. Great location in Hakata as well, making it convenient to explore Fukuoka. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location! The breakfast is simple but filling, and it's a unique hotel with a good overall experience. If you're on a budget and want to check out the Ichiran Ramen main store, this place is highly recommended as it's very close by.
This hotel is conveniently located between Nakasu-Kawabata and Tenjin stations, making it very easy to get to from the airport line. We booked a twin room, which was a good size, and I really liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Breakfast was just okay – enough to fill you up, but not much variety. It's self-check-in, but you can call staff if you have any issues, and someone will...
The triple room was quite small, but we slept very comfortably. It was cleaned thoroughly and even had an air purifier. The DIY sushi rice for breakfast was a hit with the kids, and the afternoon cookies were delicious too. The two dinosaur greeters at the hotel entrance were a nice touch! The room was quite spacious for Japan, and the bathroom was more luxurious than other chain hotels, even featuring a massage shower. The subway entrance is right outside, and it's just a 10-minute walk to Tenjin Daimaru and PARCO. I'd definitely stay here again.
The location is great and the room size is reasonable in view of its price. In general, good value for money.
This hotel offers great value for money. The previous hotel I stayed at for two nights was incredibly small, with absolutely no room to move around, making me feel really uncomfortable. I was desperate to switch hotels, and thankfully, a friend's recommendation led me here!
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a very good location. During our stay, there was a Christmas market, and we could walk to several of them. The hotel is close to the main shopping area in the city center and is very convenient for getting around. The room was a reasonable size, and the bed was comfortable.
A comfortable stay close to the main railway station. Breakfast was a bit basic but sufficient for the price. Would stay again.

The room was clean, we were able to store our luggage for both days, and it was conveniently located close to Nakasu-Kawabata Station.
The hotel was nice... but the room was very small... yet the employees are very polite and respectful and they are very helpful and happy to help.
The breakfast menu wasn't European style, they have only one Japanese one which wasn't my favourite.
The hotel was very accommodating and contacted me about my lost item. I stayed at a different hotel the day before, but the difference was even more than the price.
It's close to Nakasu-Kawabata Station and has plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, so it's very convenient.
It was convenient and easily accessible from the station.
I couldn't figure out how to turn off the overhead light, which was a pain for me since I don't need lights.
It would have been helpful if there were cables for my smartphone, PC, etc.
Also, the shower curtain in the bathroom had a moldy smell when I entered and a little inside the room too.
It's a shame.

There's only one elevator, which can be a bit inconvenient for those going to upper floors.

There's a parking lot right next door, which is super convenient. I was so happy to get all the rice balls! I tried every flavor over two days. I'll definitely book here next time.
I really appreciated the efficient and streamlined atmosphere.
The variety of rice balls offered at breakfast was great and they were delicious.
I'm also grateful for their thoughtful assistance in searching for my forgotten item.
It's compact but efficient. The room is clean and simple, yet tastefully decorated. Best of all, the rice balls for breakfast were very filling and delicious (the miso soup was unfortunately bland).
It's a 3-minute walk from Watanabe-dori subway station and is inexpensive and affordable. However, if you enjoy shopping, it would be more convenient to stay near Tenjin or Tenjin-Minami stations. The Yanagibashi Joint Market is nearby.

We chose a twin room, and the space was excellent for a Japanese hotel (the price was too). It was on par with other Comfort hotels, a consistently good standard.

Pretty small room but all facilities are enough for a one night stay.
The hotel was decent, and breakfast was served from 7 to 9 AM in traditional Japanese style. The room was clean, and the hotel is conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Guests also have free access to the hotel's sauna.
It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was nice and welcoming and the breakfast was good, the onigiri changes every day
The hotel was conveniently located near both bus and train stations. Although the hotel isn't new, the 24-hour front desk service was a plus. I will definitely stay at Gaia again next time I visit Fukuoka!!

I had a good rest. The water is nice.
The building and room facilities are old, the accessibility is not so good, and the rooms have steps, so it is not suitable for elderly people.
Apart from the remote location and average Wi-Fi, there are no disadvantages!!
It was worth the two-hour bus ride. The food was great. The food was exquisite and delicious when the sun was setting.
It is recommended to go there early, as dinner is at 6 or 6:30.
The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor and very comfortable.
Because it is a long-established establishment, the building is old, but it is well-cleaned and has a clean feeling.
My grandchildren also enjoyed the hot springs, and they especially liked the jungle bath with the slide. The quality of the hot springs was good and the food was delicious, so I would like to go again.
Although it takes about an hour to drive here, many Hong Kong people choose this place. Most of the rooms are large and new, the breakfast and evening food are also very good, and the dinner style changes every day. It is recommended to stay for more than two days to visit the nearby attractions in Asakura, Hita and Yame City. There are many foreign employees working in the hotel, but their service...

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station, and I was given a room with a street view. As a solo traveler, it was quiet and comfortable, with excellent heating, which was perfect for a very cold day. It's also close to the river, making evening strolls very pleasant. There are convenience stores and fast food options nearby, so you don't have to worry about finding food late at night.
All of the hotel team members supported me a lot ☺️
The amenities were all there and it was perfect for just one night. This is the view you can see when you open the curtains.
The room was clean and nice. There were no amenities in the room, so you had to get them yourself from the front desk, but that's okay, since there aren't many hotels in Fukuoka that offer such cheap rates.
Easy access to Hakata and Tenjin! 3-minute walk from Gofukumachi Station, right in front of the bus stop. Good access to Canal City and Marine Messe. Early check-in was a great plus, and they were kind enough to move all my luggage to the room beforehand, which was very convenient. The room was clean, and I had no issues during my one-night stay.
The hotel was very clean, a less than 10-minute walk to the subway station, and close to nearby temples. It's also about a 25-minute walk to Hakata. This area is quite peaceful and the environment is comfortable. Recommended.
We noticed an unpleasant odor in the toilet, a leak from the kettle, and an unusual painting in the room.
Enjoyed our stay here. Also rented some interesting beauty gadgets at the reception for free.
Everything was great, but the room was really small, even by Japanese standards. There was absolutely nowhere to hang towels; at least some hooks would have been helpful. The breakfasts were a bit repetitive but tasty and filling.

the room is bigger than the typical Japanese hotel rooms, with more than enough space to lay open the suitcases and still have floor area to walk in. the bathroom is likewise bigger (my knees do not hit the wall when I use the toilet!)
i love the free smoothies everyday for guests who did not avail of the hotel breakfast. I hear breakfast is great...
don't get the breakfast add on. it's just coupons to another shop across the road with limited option

Great location within walking distance of Tenjin and the station. Parking nearby is pricey 16 hr 3000 Yen, but the room is spacious even at the smallest size. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for us and our baby. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Nice Place safe and Clean Rooms
Fantastic! I arrived early and they kindly allowed me to check in ahead of schedule. The location is excellent, right between two subway stations, making it an absolute value-for-money champion. The hotel itself isn't huge, but it has everything you need and is very clean.
I stored luggage at counter when I check in because it was too early at time. When I get back to hotel at night, the staff had already placed my luggage in my room. That's very helpful. Location is quite convenient, it's between two train station, but just short walk like 5 to 10 min to get to either one. There is nice ramen place around the corner of the hotel.

Very easy to find the location, just 5mins go straight from subway station, a playground in front of the hotel. Polite staff, reasonable sized room, good location that lots restaurants & 屋台nearby.

The lowest price room is still a very spacious room. The dining area is surprisingly well-decorated. Breakfast is excellent. Free parking. There is a beautiful lounge in the lobby.
We booked the dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was awesome.
This is a hidden gem! The staff was super nice and place was clean modern and new. We were glad we made a last minute decision to book this place. I will surely recommend this place to others and rebook again when I come back to Kyushu!
High cost-performance ratio, good service and food. The rooms, though a bit old, were clean. I also booked a newly renovated room with a bath, which I highly recommend.
A special mention: the entrance to the onsen (hot spring) has wheelchairs and assistive vehicles thoughtfully provided for the elderly. 👍🏻👍🏻
The accommodation was really nice, and although I couldn't go to the bath, the atmosphere was really nice!! However, the accommodation was far from the convenience store, so I had to keep taking a taxi..! If you tell the graduate counter that the basic fee is 700 yen, they will call a taxi for you!! Also, the inside of the accommodation was cool and the size was really nice!! I think it felt even better...
The geographical location is relatively remote and you need to drive to get there.
There is Youme near the hotel. Shopping is quite convenient.
The hotel staff are friendly and courteous, and welcome drinks are provided.
The facilities are old but still clean
What’s surprising is that you can pay with paypay
