The Breakfast Hotel Fukuoka Nakasu, Fukuoka1 / 26
8.7
Fukuoka, 3 Chome-6-19 Nakasu, rayon Hakata, 810-0801 Fukuoka, Prefektura Fukuoka, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Highly recommended! Aside from the room being a bit small, everything else was fantastic. They offer daily fruit smoothies and three other complimentary drinks. Plus, the location is super convenient.
The location is good, near train station, breakfast had fresh salmon sashimi.
My stay at The breakfast hotel Nakasu was wonderful! The breakfast was delicious and varied, the room was clean and cozy, and the location was incredibly convenient for exploring the city
The breakfast was quite appealing – buffet style 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. They had sashimi and salads 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻, and even desserts too! 👍🏻👍🏻
Helpful staff, very clean room, just 3 minutes walk from Donki. Nice breakfast, the food truck is cute.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming-it truly felt like a home away from home

Hotel New Gaea Yakuin, Fukuoka1 / 22

Fukuoka, 1-1-6 Omiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
However, there was long hair in the bathtub in my room. While the facilities are old, the service is good. The complimentary drink service and self-service laundry were very convenient
I really enjoyed having access to the lounge. The public bath was also spacious and very relaxing. It's conveniently located near Yakuin Station, and you can get to Hakata Station directly by subway, which is a big plus
The cleaning was only performed once every two nights. While the onsen on the top floor offered good experience after a long walk and the weather wasn't friendly to me from the subtropical zone
However, there's no room service. You'll need to go to the counter yourself to get towels, tissues, and trash bags for self-cleaning. Also, toiletries are not provided; you have to purchase them for 200 Yen
You can also walk to various restaurants, food stalls, and the Yanagibashi Rengo Market. I'd definitely like to stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka
Noise from the adjacent room and hallway was quite audible. It would have been better if the curtains had a sheer layer for privacy without blocking all light

Hotel Grandolce HAKATA, Fukuoka1 / 10High rating
9.5
Fukuoka, 12-18 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is on the smaller side (typical of Japan hotel sizes) so it’s best suited for solo travelers. That said, it was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay
This is the best hotel for me in Fukuoka. Besides being very nice and clean, it is close to all the places I visit here. The best of all, the staff are super friendly and helpful
Thank you for the front desk's attentive guidance. I also found myself making good use of the 24-hour coffee machine in the lobby on the first floor
It’s near Tenjin Central Park and the Nakasu yatai stalls, which made it easy to explore the area, especially at night. Bus stops and the subway station are also within walking distance
The hotel room has a balcony with a view of the park. It's also conveniently located near the original Ichiran Ramen, which always has a queue, so I went at 8 AM to avoid the crowds
Shops around Tenjin and Daimyo are about a 10-15 minute walk, but you can also easily get there by bus. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay, especially for solo travelers

Fukuoka, 9-1, Gion-machi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
breakfast is good and midnight snack ramen and dessert service are excellent i stayed queen-size bed room with quite space
The location is excellent, peaceful yet central, right next to the Grand Canal shopping mall.
Good breakfast and onsen. But the rooms are too small for a Dormi Inn, which carries the Premium label. Overall, we love this chain for the quality they provide and the onsen in every hotel.
We also use their laundry a few times cos of the sweated clothes and their detergent smells really good!
Very convenient location, right in front of subway station and 1 station away from Hakata Station, canal city hakata is just across the street, yatai stalls all walking distance from hotel, lots of shops around the hotel, the onsen was wonderful!
The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Onsen is my favourite and it’s very nice and clean. Love their evening free ramen too

Fukuoka, 2-2-4,Hakataekihigashi,Hakata (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Location was super good 5 minute walk to Hakata station. There is bath tub in the hotel that u can enjoy the salt bath after a long day walk and sightseeing. The hotel provides three kinds that you can chose
Nearby also have Starbucks , convenience stores and late shopping for essential items till 11pm. MRT convenient to Tenjin and others nearby places to visit like shrine
Near JR station and near airport subway station. Around the hotel a lot of restaurants. I front door got fresh cherry blossom for decoration just nice and elegant. Room clean and breakfast really good.
Room size was big, considering the Osaka standard, and it was comfortable stay. They provided amenities and also bath salt at lobby for self service. Location was excellent, near Hakata station
Good location and helpful staffs. Can walk through underpass to jr station which is very helpful especially on rainy days. Good service especially when we need emergency doctor assistance
The location is fantastic, only about 200 meters from Hakata Station's Chikushi Exit. The bedding was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. While the room wasn't huge, the breakfast was a bit disappointing

Great location, clean and neat, good price
Location is great. Can walk under the roof for most of the way from Hakata station. Friendly staff. Pretty clean inside with the necessary items. Comfortable stay. I'd book this hotel again the next time I visit Fukuoka.
Good location! Very close to Hakata station, the room is bigger than I think.
The location is good but the room is very hot . Aircon not working .

They served the best breakfast ever, i really enjoy the motsunabe prepared by the hotel!
We stay this hotel many times, it's value, clean, friendly staff. the location is very good to anywhere.
Very good location with alot of restaurants around. And very near to shopping malls
A little small for 2 but overall good stay, shower was good
The hotel's location is excellent, with a lively neighborhood and close proximity to the station. My room had a window and faced the street, but it was surprisingly quiet even with the window closed
The room was great, and the location is superb – within a 10-minute walk to both Hakata and Tenjin shopping districts. The bathroom was quite spacious for Japan

Located very near the nakasu stalls and canal city. Room is modern and well furnished and hotel serves free tea and snacks everyday. However, the staff during check in did not give us a good vibe when we posted questions
Good location and friendly staff. The room is clean. Pro: bedroom and washroom are separated. Con: no free storage for luggage.
Near to Tenjin and Hakata station, within 15 mins walk. Also near to the Yatai food stall. Hotel come with self service laundry machine. Breakfast is good with enough variety for a 6 days stay
The cleaning crew also did not clear trash on one of the days. Finally, parking is expensive at 2500 yen per night excluding tax
It’s nice to have the complimentary afternoon snacks and drinks (Japanese tea) after check in

Fukuoka, 3-13-1 Haruyoshi, Chuo Ku, Japan (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
All the staff genuinely cared about our stay. The full board for four days was great, and the snacks were delicious. The complimentary chocolates were from a famous brand, and the drip coffee in the room was excellent
Excellent service with a full board - Buffett line for breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and dinner. Rooms were larger than most Japanese hotels. Great location to both hakata and Tenjin
Excellent experience! The hotel is beautiful, with really vibrant colors. I highly recommend the mentaiko bread with Hokkaido butter for breakfast—it's a must-try
The other con is noise if you are someone who can’t tolerate noise from the outside as the hotel sits right at the bridge where there’s a big food truck open space and there’s lots of independent singers and entertainers which the noise could disrupt your sleep If your rooms face that direction and you are an early sleeper
It's very convenient for getting around; you can take bus 68 to Hakata, walk 12 minutes to a large supermarket, and Tenjin is also within walking distance. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit
However, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff are mostly Nepalese or Indian, making communication very easy. This is also one of the few hotels in Japan where you can check out at 12 PM

KOKO HOTEL Hakata Shinkansenguchi, Fukuoka1 / 30

Fukuoka, 1-17-17 Hakatahigashi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Good place to stay in Fukuoka, near the Hakata station. Room is not too big but comfortable. The hotel have own hot bath facilities but is too small and the water is not too clean.
It's so close to the Hakata station. Christmas market on the other side of Hakata station from November 1st to December was an unexpected bonus!
This Hotel is extremely recommended for the proximity to Hakata Station. Very convenient for the free coffee and amenities as well.
The location is quite good but there is only one lift and the breakfast spread is not fantastic
The room was small but clean and tidy. The location is super convenient, close to the station, and there's a convenience store nearby. It's also very handy for shopping, dining, and exploring. Very satisfied!
There is also an onsen in the hotel, which was excellent and very relaxing

Nice hotel, good location, snacks & beverage all day & good staffs.
This hotel was pretty entertaining, check in would have been a breeze if we booked only one room. the check in is seamless, all automated while the velociraptors look at you
we needed some assistance since both rooms were under one name and the system cannot accept one name for both rooms. the attendant was promptly notified by the check in machine itself and we received assistance quickly
We booked a twin room, which was a good size, and I really liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Breakfast was just okay – enough to fill you up, but not much variety
as with most Japanese hotels now, most of the amenities were by the check in counter, robes and razors. The towels and toothbrush were in the room
I booked a concept room which had some special clothes hanging there, but I didn't pay much attention to them, so they didn't really add much. The bathroom's dry and wet separation was quite convenient

Fukuoka, 1-2-1, Tenjin, Chuo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is in a very good location. During our stay, there was a Christmas market, and we could walk to several of them
The location is great and the room size is reasonable in view of its price. In general, good value for money.
Central location walking distance to Tenjin underground mall Room is small without space to open up two large suitcases Receptionist is polite and helpful Rooms facing main road can hear siren sound at night
This hotel offers great value for money. The previous hotel I stayed at for two nights was incredibly small, with absolutely no room to move around, making me feel really uncomfortable
It's centrally located with convenient amenities right downstairs, and the Nakasu Yatai area is only about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, it offers great value for money
The hotel is close to the main shopping area in the city center and is very convenient for getting around. The room was a reasonable size, and the bed was comfortable

Fukuoka, 1-1 Susakimachi, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel was very accommodating and contacted me about my lost item. I stayed at a different hotel the day before, but the difference was even more than the price.
I felt that the customer service attitude was good. In particular, the female staff at breakfast were very friendly.
It's close to Nakasu-Kawabata Station and has plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, so it's very convenient.
The staff was very friendly and although the building itself is a little old, the rooms were clean.
The reception was very kind and polite, and I was impressed that they welcomed me even though I was tired. I used it for a LIVE, and would like to use it again if I have the opportunity
It would have been helpful if there were cables for my smartphone, PC, etc. Also, the shower curtain in the bathroom had a moldy smell when I entered and a little inside the room too

The service was also excellent; I could store my luggage upon early arrival, which was very convenient. It's a 2-3 minute walk from Hakata Station, making it super accessible and a great choice for travelers
Good location, just few minute walk from Hakata station. Affordable price with basic needs for 2 days stay. Highly recommend
Very good location (Very near Hakata station), Nice & Clean hotel Near 7-11 but the room is quite small. Good service.
Breakfast is good, but room is slightly small, can't fully open a big luggage.
The atmosphere is good, and the service is quite friendly
Very close to Hakata station. Clean and tiny room as expected but it's ok. Continental breakfast included, preferred to have options like chicken instead of just pork if possible.Fridge avail but mine not cold.

It's compact but efficient. The room is clean and simple, yet tastefully decorated. Best of all, the rice balls for breakfast were very filling and delicious (the miso soup was unfortunately bland).
There are subway stations and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient to go out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I slept very well. The service staff is friendly and the check-in is fast
It's a 3-minute walk from Watanabe-dori subway station and is inexpensive and affordable. However, if you enjoy shopping, it would be more convenient to stay near Tenjin or Tenjin-Minami stations
There's a parking lot right next door, which is super convenient. I was so happy to get all the rice balls! I tried every flavor over two days. I'll definitely book here next time.
The late check in at 4 PM is not friendly for early arrivals. The hotel provides service to keep the luggage until check in time. I took a red eye flight and arrived around 10 am
I really appreciated the efficient and streamlined atmosphere. The variety of rice balls offered at breakfast was great and they were delicious

We chose a twin room, and the space was excellent for a Japanese hotel (the price was too). It was on par with other Comfort hotels, a consistently good standard
I feel like Smile Hotel isn't as good as it used to be. When we arrived, the only smoking area was on the third floor, and the hallway outside our room smelled strongly of smoke. Plus, the room itself was very small
I found it perfectly adequate. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. You can store your luggage on the day of check-in and check-out
From the domestic terminal, a subway ride to Hakata Station is 260 JPY. There are also many convenience stores nearby. Like many Japanese hotels, the single rooms are quite small, but they are clean and tidy
If you're coming from Fukuoka International Terminal, you can take a bus to Hakata Station East Gate for 310 JPY, then walk through the station concourse. A direct taxi would cost around 2000 JPY
Across from the hotel, there's a supermarket and a popular dessert shop with a queue – if you have time, you should definitely try it; the cakes aren't too sweet and are really delicious

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was nice and welcoming and the breakfast was good, the onigiri changes every day
But on the bright side, if it were a card key, you wouldn't be able to use electricity when you're out, right? Here, I could leave my devices charging and go out, and the power stayed on, which was great! I also saw reviews about poor soundproofing, but I didn't notice any issues with that
I was looking for a budget-friendly hotel and found this one, staying for 5 nights and 6 days. The location was absolutely perfect – it was a short walk to Tenjin city center, which I really appreciated
Despite that, I'd probably come back here if I visit Fukuoka again! I highly recommend it for solo travelers! The hotel key is a physical key, and you have to leave it at the front desk when you go out
Reviews mentioned the rooms were small, and I wondered how small they could be, but it genuinely was the smallest room I've ever had on a trip to Japan 😂
One thing to be careful about is that if you open the window, it connects to a corridor-style hallway

A modern hotel resort situated right at the top of a hill, as reflected in the its name. We were greeted warmly with a welcome cup of hot tea, warm hand towels and really good chocolates
good tease good design and good service
My room this time had a good view, and the lobby has been renovated. However, the room only had a shower stall and no bathtub, which guests should be aware of
The room is clean and of a comfortable size with birds occasionally flying and chirping about in the trees outside the windows, against the backdrop of the Fukuoka City
Very comfortable stay, highly recommended. The tatami Japanese-style room was lovely, the sunset view was amazing, and the room was huge.
The breakfast comes as a set and it is highly nutritious, and of high quality. I would highly recommend breakfast here

I had a live show and asked if they could leave my luggage before check-in, and they were very friendly and asked me, "Will you be back after the show?" even though I wasn't going to a show, which really showed their professionalism
It is easily accessible from Tojinmachi Station and is in a good location, but it is a little far from Tenjin, so I got the impression that there are not many restaurants
The room facilities are a bit dated, but the neighborhood is very quiet, which I liked. The separate wet and dry areas are a big plus, and the single room is quite spacious. It was very comfortable for one person
There are plenty of good value restaurants nearby
I explained to them that the fridge wasn't working, and they changed my room! Thankfully, the fridge in my replacement room cooled down quickly, so it was very useful

The room, the beds and amenities are all excellent. I will recommend this hotel to friends in off peak seasons esp in a good discounted price
The hotel room is very good! Will definitely recommend to friends.
Good: Nice and spacious room, free parking good for us to drive around, powerful shower head which served strong stream and stable temperature for nice shower, big beds, convenient shops, food and big AEON store nearby with driving distance 5 mins, nice night lounge with free flow crafted beer, popcorn, and bbq marshmallow, my daughter requested to go every night But if you’re not coming with a car...
The rooms are spacious and generally clean Furnishings abit dated but acceptable They have daily night events and free drinks nightly Location abit deserted Need to access by car
