The staff were very polite and helpful. (When I asked about the typhoon, they immediately looked into it.)
Smoking was allowed in all rooms, so I think it would be even more comfortable if they added a non-smoking floor in the future.
There was also a library nearby, which we used on days when we couldn't move due to a typhoon. We were able to walk to the remote island terminal at night, so we were able to enjoy the ocean and stars in the evening. Breakfast was reasonably priced, but the location was so great that we ended up going to Taketomi Island in the morning, so we couldn't eat it. Thank you to all the staff.
But the inside is clean and it's in a great location near the remote island terminal and the downtown area, so on days when prices are low it might be worth splurging on a meal.
This hotel was convenient because it was close to the ferry terminal, as I wanted to go to Kuroshima and Kohamajima.
However, what surprised me was the "eco-washlet" in the toilet!
The instructions said, "Pull the lever and water will come out," but at first I couldn't find the lever. I remember being relieved when I bent down and looked at the side of the toilet bowl and there it was, the lever, and the water came out properly (lol).
Also, from the second night onwards, there was heavy rain and water accumulated at the hotel entrance on the first floor (the front desk is on the second floor), making it difficult to get in and out.
The front desk staff were very helpful.
However, it's in a convenient location, and (though not all rooms) have a large refrigerator and microwave, as well as a free-to-use washing machine and dryer.
I stayed for three nights, and since I chose the option with only towel changes and trash disposal, the cleaning staff didn't enter my room, which meant I didn't have to tidy up and put away most of my belongings every morning before leaving, which was a relief.
I was hoping for an ocean view, but from the 5th floor, you could only faintly see the sea, which was a little disappointing.
The breakfast, which cost 980 yen, was delicious, with small dishes, rice, and miso soup served buffet-style, as well as bread, coffee, and milk.
There were also paper cups to take coffee back to the room, which was helpful.
Above all, the staff were incredibly polite and wonderful.
After arriving and going out for dinner, I tripped on the street and cut my foot badly, returning to the hotel bleeding profusely. When I inquired at the front desk, they kindly lent me disinfectant, bandages, and paper tape, which are all items available at the hotel. Thank you so much for your kindness.
