Umi No Nakama in Ishigaki

The room is nicely decorated.
Very close to the beach/sea.
Full equipment if you want to cook.
Free parking is available.
Having balcony to dry clothes.
Washing machine is available in the same floor.
Very quiet at night. If there is no cloud in the sky you can see a lot of stars in the sky at night.
The hosts are very nice!

Beautiful view, charming hosts
Nice view, fairly large apartment with all amenities, charming hosts. We recommend the breakfast they prepare, which is very varied.

It was a wonderful place for me to spend two nights and three days (^^)
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming (^^)
The rooms were also spotlessly clean (^^)

For those who enjoy running, there's a flat, over 3km one-way path with no cars, running right next to the sea – it's very pleasant (^^) I've attached a picture of the path.

Laundry facilities are available, which is great (^^)
However, I think it would be really good to have sandals for the balcony. I even bought sandals to wear into the sea (^^)

I made the right choice by choosing Umi no Nakama.

The room had everything you need, there was an ocean view from the balcony, and the owner's thoughtfulness was amazing.

Next time I come to Ishigaki Island, I'll definitely choose Umi no Nakama!

The view from balcony was fantastic.
The sun rise, the sea breeze, we can’t ask for more. We have all the things we need in the room. Yoko san, the owner, was super friendly. She shared a lot information with us. They also offer diving and snorkeling course. In short, it’s a really pleasant stay.

The owners are kind and friendly. Food is amazing! They care about food and ingredients so you must have breakfast. It is off the city so you need to rent a car or take taxi but you can rent bicycles so you can bike to the beach or to the city. Room is cozy, nothing fancy just think of this place as beach house. Every room have kitchen so you can cook too. Great for family and little kids. Free wifi and every taxi driver knows this place so you don't need to worry about giving address. Affordable hotel and if you stay they give you discounts for snorkeling or scuba diving. I did NAUI open water and it was amazing!! Definitely coming back soon.

I was taken care of 16 years ago when I got a C card.
At that time, the pension was not yet built, but the following year, it was used for a new construction.
Because it is far from the center of the city, it is difficult to ride by bicycle even in the summer, but the shop is near the 730 intersection, so I was sent by car.
There is a memory that I was able to watch with great force from the rooftop during the fireworks season.
Although it is not price setting for long-term stay, there was a discount if diving and set.
Now I can't have enough time to dive, but I want my kids to get a C card here. (Before children grow up too much)

Stayed for a week and it was great. Good kitchen except gotta bring your own spices. Right on the beach. Looks a lil shady from the outside but the inside is lovely. It's a mile or two from the start of the town so not many dining options but theres a cute and tasty breakfast place down the road and a grocery store a couple streets away.

A little far from the center but
It is within easy reach by taxi or rental car.
The price was cheap and the husband and wife were very nice.
I was able to get towels and so on, so I didn't feel inconvenient.
The sea is near, the room is nice and highly recommended.
