Where to stay in Kyushu

Overall, the hotel was really great, but I was surprised that a hotel of this star rating didn't have a gym. Their ads and pictures all showed a gym, but I couldn't find it until I asked the front desk and discovered they don't have one. I ended up having to run up and down the hills outside the hotel instead.

Great location to Shuri Castle, hotel is nice and clean, breakfast variety is decent and actually better than most of local hotel.

Really nice staff and very good place to visit. The hotel is connected to the Nakasu-Kawabata which is really convenient to travel in the city to Tenjin or Hakata.

As far as accommodation goes in Fukuoka, this is one of our favourites. Excellent location, great hospitality from staff and the best part is how spacious the room was! Now, this hotel has been around for a while and had been renovated but despite evreything, we just loved the overall package. Even the shower was so powerful you probably thought you were bathing at Nachi Waterfalls! 😁

Super Iconic hotel and very comfortable to stay in! We were here for two nights and would totally recommend this to whoever visiting Kagoshima. Public seperate bath at the top floor (13F), free ice cubes, parking is 1000JPY per night, there are washing machine and drying services, get the rooms that face sakurajima! A huge shopping mall just right across the hotel!

Located next to a big mall where you can find Uniqlo, Diaso and many others. The hotel is very big and many guests came to attend conference and then stayed. The onsen is located at the roof and you can view Volcano Sakurajima and sun rise there.

Perfect for a relaxing Kagoshima getaway. The shuttle service is super convenient for exploring the city, and combined with a one-day transport pass, a two-night stay is just right. The hotel's on-site hot springs are also very comfortable, and you can even catch the sunrise in the morning!

The hotel's top floor has a hot spring, a sauna, and ice cream. They even serve ramen at night. The location is excellent, right next to Sakuracho Bus Terminal, making it super convenient to get to Amakusa for dolphin watching. There's also a tram station nearby, so getting anywhere is a breeze.

Great location beside sakura machi, near shopping street and kumamoto castle. Easy to get to kumamoto jr station via bus or tram. Onsen was clean and reasonably sized with outdoor onsen and sauna. This hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station's Chikushi exit. The room was a bit small, but you can store your luggage there. Extremely close to the station! It's just over 100 meters to the Fukuoka station, making it super convenient for coming and going. Although the room was small and not far from Kumamoto Castle, I didn't spend much time in it anyway, so it was perfectly acceptable.

Extremely convenient location! The monorail's Asahibashi Station has direct access to the hotel lobby on the second floor. Plus, Kokusai Street and the bus stop for route 120 are right downstairs.

This hotel is super close to Makishi Station, just a quick walk over the skybridge. It's also only a 5-10 minute walk to Kokusai Dori, making it really convenient for getting around. However, there seem to be more and more Indian cleaning staff now, and the cleaning isn't as thorough as it used to be. Plus, they only provided slippers once.

If you will go to places far away from hakata that requires travelling such as itoshima and yufuin, this hotel is definitely a good option.

Speaking of Miyazaki, it's the Miyazaki Kanko Hotel, also known as "Miyakan"! The lobby, common areas, rooms, and corridors all had a luxurious feel and a very nice atmosphere. There was nothing particularly bad about it, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

Stayed one night, location is a bit isolated in terms of restaurants and things to do. Definitely an outdated hotel and could do with a renovation, however the room was definitely very large for Japanese standards so the was a plus!(superior queen). If self driving there is a multistory carpark right behind hotel so that’s also a plus.

This Hotel is famous for the tourist but the building is a bit old. Their toilet has old bidet, it’s hard to operate. They have old fashioned key, don’t be confused. But when it comes to service ill give them 5⭐️they are very helpful and polite staff.

When I checked in, I was approached by someone at the counter next to me. They explained the Halloween campaign to the Japanese guests, but not to me. After I got to my room, when I put out the bath mat, a woman's hair came out. I was also bothered by the fact that the sink in the bathroom was taped down.

The staff in counter is not very warm hearted but OK and the staff in the restaurant is very friendly. We would like to stay here next time in Okinawa because the room price is reasonable and the bed sheets and quilt are clean and smell nice and the location is near the bus station and also monorail station

The hotel was much nicer than I expected for the inexpensive price. There is parking service and a laundry room and it's literally a stone's throw away from the monorail station, which is very convenient for getting to the airport. Simple, basic and no frills but everything you need is on point.

The best thing about this hotel is its close proximity to Churaumi Ocean park. It also has an in-house onsen, albeit a small one. However, don't be fooled by its exterior, the rooms are quite old and design out-dated. The hotel is still using old-fashioned keys with heavy key-holders for the rooms.

The service was truly exceptional, and the hotel's restaurants were all quite good. The teppanyaki was delicious, and the Japanese restaurant offered fair prices. The hotel is ideally located, just 150 meters from the East Exit of Hakata Station. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The breakfast spread is excellent, with both Japanese and Western options available. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and shopping is very convenient. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Fukuoka.
