Great location, right next to Fukuoka Station! The room was pretty spacious for Japan, which is always a plus. As everyone knows, there are plenty of convenience stores nearby, so grabbing breakfast was a breeze

The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and two bottles of water are provided daily. I will definitely choose the Royal Garden Hotel again next time I'm in Fukuoka!

It's a great option to choose between a breakfast buffet or a lunch buffet! The lunch was good, especially the pork shabu-shabu which left a deep impression! The hotel's brochure didn't mention the public bath, so it was a pleasant surprise when we found it

The hotel has an excellent location, facing the sea with a fantastic beach on one side, and a main road on the other, very close to a bus stop. There's a Family Mart convenience store just over a hundred meters away

Hello everyone! We stayed at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay from October 3rd to 10th, 2025. The hotel’s location is convenient — not right next to the main attractions, but getting there from Naha Airport is easy

Both the outdoor and indoor pools had children's slides; they were decent but not huge, offering all the essentials

The breakfast was really lovely. I came down a bit late, so I can’t really comment on that. So far? …everything has been so great that I’ve extended my stay

Total price? 11,000¥ with brekkie, a lot of amenities, and complimentary drinks and snacks

The entire hotel is non-smoking, and the front desk staff are also very pleasant. Cons: The Wi-Fi in the private rooms cuts out. It doesn't connect as often as you'd like. It did connect a little early in the morning

The service is incredible, the room unbelievably spacious, very clean and with a massage chair! The staff were very kind and friendly to all… The beds are massive and they’ve got nice pillows and easy to adjust air conditioning

Pros: The Japanese breakfast isn't extravagant, but it's satisfying. A variety of small side dishes, and more. Fans of Japanese food will be satisfied. The cheerful voice of the mother in the dining room

Both the front desk staff and the staff in the breakfast area were very polite and pleasant. However, there was a large gap at the bottom of the guest room door, so there was almost no soundproofing

The environment and service here are top-notch, making for an excellent experience. It's a 20-minute walk to Fukuoka Tower and Seaside Momochi Park

The surroundings are beautiful, and the hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the beach. It's also not far from Fukuoka Tower.

If you're attending a concert at PayPay Dome, honestly, don't bother staying anywhere else! The walkway shown in picture five leads directly to gate 7 in just five minutes

There's also a FamilyMart right next door – a lifesaver in winter! Seriously, while others are lining up for transport, I'm already checking in! I had enough time to drop off my stuff, relax, and then go for dinner when the crowds had died down

This is one of the best Marriott hotels I have been staying. The view outside the hotel room window was astonishing. The selection of the buffet breakfast was massive and the food was so delicious

Corner suite has beautiful view. Not like other Japanese hotel, very roomy. Food is also very good. Onsen is also beautiful.

Parking is free, room is huge, service is awesome, there are shops selling stuff at basement, onsen is superb, water pressure for shower is strong. There are indoor swimming pool

The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained! The room is big and the ocean & pine trees forest view was simply awesome 👍! Another plus point was their out door Onsen with the pine trees view was fantastic!!

It’s a lovely place, full of locals, so everywhere is kept and maintained clean and enjoyable. Hotel has different areas / activity to explore, service was attentive and thoughtful, parents enjoyed thenselves

Basement parking at the hotel building has very limited lots, often full after sunset. Ice making machine available on our level lobby and notice microwave too at other floor. A short drive from the airport

A bakery, 7-11 and souvenir shop on ground level, complimentary hot spring bath, coin laundry. There is also a supermarket less than 5 minute walk away

The hotel was very clean, and the stay was comfortable, with excellent service. However, the hot spring was really dirty, with all sorts of suspended particles. It was obvious the circulation system wasn't working well.

In its lobby there is a Familymart so and a souvenir store so overall it’s a convenient place! Didn’t get a chance to really explore its amenities as I’m out most of the days, but I would recommend for its price!

The Grand Hotel offers decent value for money, though it's a bit on the expensive side. The room rates are pretty good, all things considered

im not driving and reached the place by bus, its 15 mins walk from local bus station, around 20 mins bus ride 110yen to city side , however, the road has no light its a bit scary at night

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus, but it's not listed on Ctrip. You have to call and book it yourself through the hotel's website. Check-in was done on the sofa while we drank tea

This resort has great service and ABF is very nice, we can choose Chinese, Japnese (Ryokyu), international for our breakfast in seperate restaurant

The location is easy to reach even without a car thanks to regular bus connections. The setting itself is stunning — the hotel is located on a separate peninsula, and the views are truly magnificent

The check-in process took a full 45 minutes, and I was almost on the verge of heatstroke from standing there so long! After finally checking in, I wanted to quickly freshen up with a shower, but then waited another 30 minutes in the room for my luggage

Because of this, the prices for additional services and restaurants also feel overpriced. Dust, dirt, worn furniture, and even mold significantly spoil the overall impression

The only time you can really enjoy the pool or ocean without getting baked is closer to sunset (unless you don't mind the sun, then never mind what I said)

On the hotel's beach, during low tide, you could see little fish swimming and crabs scurrying in the glass-like water – it was adorable! For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style

The hotel has a shuttle service that runs regularly to and from the Hoshino Resorts Banyan Tree Iriomote, allowing guests to enjoy their 8 pools. Right next door to the hotel is the famous Hoshino Coffee, a must-try

Water activities also require reservations, and they don't accept phone bookings; you have to go early in the morning to get a spot, which is a bit too primitive 😂

It’s a pity we have to shorten our stay due to driving license issue and could not rent a car. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Pillow is a bit small and soft

This is considered a relatively good hotel in Miyako Island. The surrounding area is incomparable to those in China. It is best to make reservations in advance for meals, as the restaurants open every day are different.

There are no special facilities, it is cleaned very well, and it doesn't feel very old. Of course, the bathroom does not have a dry and wet separation, which still reflects the sense of age

There’s a Lawson near Huis Ten Bosch’s entrance as well. I would say it’s probably a 3 minutes walk. Carpark is available directly in front of the hotel, with charges at 1000¥ per night

Not sure about the Japanese culture. We tried to check in at morning time, but we got the only response that the check-in starts at 3:00PM. No extra information about how to enter the Park, or anything

Excellent service and well furnished clean room. Breakfast has a good spread too. The carpark is a few mins walk away from the main hotel which they offer shuttle service. Enjoyed my 2N stay.

Heading towards Tenjin, you'll find various drugstores along the way, leading to Daimaru department store, and then across the street is the Tenjin shopping district. It's all easily accessible on foot

Plus, there's a bus stop across the street with direct service to Fukuoka Tower. The room was quite spacious for Japan, easily accommodating two 28-inch suitcases

After returning to Fukuoka from Beppu, I chose to stay at Hotel Monterey again because it's incredibly convenient, with a subway station right downstairs

The hotel is right next to the subway, making it super convenient to get to Tenjin, Canal City, and Hakata Station – just a maximum of 3 stops away

The location of the hotel was good for taking a taxi or uber to other beaches and sight seeing trips. The walk to the nearby beach was pleasant, which you could do before brunch at the hotel

There were a few cute restaurants that were easy walking distance to the hotel especially for dinner, with good food and each had their specialties

Wonderful view out of my room in the West wing which I believe is the newer wing. Huge room and bathroom. Well maintained! It is in the middle of the island so easy to take Uber to all the main attractions.

The sea view from our balcony was a joy to wake up to every morning and the fresh air coming into the room together with the comfortable beds in the quiet room guaranteed a good nights sleep

Staff were also polite and greeted us each time we walked past, brought our luggage up to our hotel room, and facilitated a seamless check-in and check-out process

Our booking confirmation very explicitly said "breakfast for 3 persons included" on every single day of the stay; only during the first breakfast we noticed that we had only been given breakfast coupons for two adults per day
