Kyushu, Oita, 1-5-18 Chuo-machi, Oita-shi, Oita Prefecture 🧭 Map
Wonderful station near restaurants and only a short walk away from highway bus to Fukuoka airport and Oita train station.
Wonderful coffee machine at lobby.
Thank you!
Tje hotel is morden style, good location, close to JR station & lot of restaurants around. hygiene is above average.
Comfortable hotel, amazing breakfast and great location
The hotel is near the train station but the room is old which doesn't looks like the picture provide
I didn't have high expectations because the price was reasonable, but it was a very nice hotel. The staff were very kind.
Fast check-in, complement wine and enjoyable stay overall.

It's close to Miyazaki Station and within walking distance.
It's also conveniently close to the downtown area.
The rooms and hallways were kept clean and tidy.
The large public bath is for men only, which was nice.
Check-out is at 11am, so we could take our time.
Breakfast is included for 920 yen and included Miyazaki specialty chilled miso soup, which was delicious.

I stayed here on the first day of the Hawks' Miyazaki training camp!
The building itself may be old, but it was well-maintained and clean!
The staff were friendly and I had a relaxing stay!
It's close to the downtown area, so you won't have any trouble finding somewhere to eat or drink. 🍺

Very near the main station and it was reasonably priced
The parking lot is mostly flat, and the downtown area is close by on foot, and the price is cheap.

Both men and women have a large communal bath in the opposite Marix Lagoon, and guests can enter for free.

The hotel was clean and offered a complimentary breakfast buffet, which included pasta, scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, and fried chicken. Free water was also provided. It was a bit surprising, however, that they didn't offer free luggage storage.
This was my second stay at this hotel. The location was super convenient for getting around from Akasaka Station, probably one of the best locations in Tenjin. It was easy to get anywhere from the hotel. I could even walk to Ohori Park, which allowed me to really experience the peaceful scenery and daily life of Fukuoka. Daimyo Street was also just a 5-minute walk, not far at all, and great for sightseeing...
I like this hotel because It's very comfy. The bed is not too hard n the pillow is good. The room is also spacious enough for me to open my large size trunk on the floor, perfect for single occupancy (my room is a single occupancy room). The staff is very friendly although I didn't interact with them very often since I don't have to. The washing machines are also good n quite new. The breakfast is...
I stayed here for 3 nights for a concert at Fukuoka Dome. The location was great, as I could easily access both Akasaka and Tenjin stations. The free breakfast at the adjacent Pronto was also delicious. The room, especially the bathroom, showed a bit of age but was very clean. The room's amenities and size were perfectly fine, making for a comfortable stay. Both the front desk staff and the cleaning...
It was clean and close to the subway, which was great. It's convenient for shopping and there are many restaurants nearby, so it's easy to go out for meals. The breakfast was also excellent, so I highly recommend staying here.
Great location, it's only 20min away from the airport by taxi. very central, you can come back to leave your shopping and go back to shop easily.
quiet room and it's very clean but little small, i totally fine with the price i paid for. one down side is they could't keep luggage for free anymore even for their own customers.

Great tradional hotel with traditional baths.Good food too.
The food is great, the quality of dinner food surprised me. Onsen is very big.
the central heat in the room was too much, had to open window a bit. free pudding and ice pops aren't really our cup of tea, but it was a great gesture. onsen was great experience, room is spacious for 4 of us. would come back to stay again. location is quiet and convenient. garden was beautiful

Kyushu, Kumamoto, 1-6-16 Izumi, Kumamoto Chuo-ku 🧭 Map
Upon check-in, we were given a detailed explanation of the hotel's services.
The airport limousine bus stop is nearby, making it convenient for getting to and from the airport. It's also close to bus and tram stops, making transportation relatively convenient. The nearest convenience store is a bit far away.
It's a bit far from the city center, near Suizenji.
The nearby Rocky Mart was great for browsing. There were a lot of things cheaper than at convenience stores. The accommodations were really old-fashioned. It was a smoking room, so there was a strong smell of cigarettes, but considering the price, I was satisfied as a solo traveler.
The breakfast was simple, but that's about it.
I had a great stay
The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful
The amenities were great, and we were able to use the massager for free, which was very comfortable! The tram stop is also nearby.

I felt that the location was great as I could walk to the downtown area and Miyazaki Station.
It was cheap but the room was clean.
It was my first time in Miyazaki and I'm glad I chose it.
This time I came to Miyazaki to play golf with an old work colleague. There was a large public bath and sauna, so it was great for relieving fatigue.
I stayed here for business. It was nice to have a large, comfortable bath. However, both the room and the bath are historically old.
A good hotel. Clean and near the entertainment area. Love the bath house. The staff Parash gave an excellent service to English speaking customer.
I usually use Marix Lagoon, but Marix is also the best 🙌
The hot springs were great and the breakfast was also very satisfying. I will definitely use them again when I stay in Miyazaki in the future.
It was easy to use around town

good hotel and very good staff, very nice sea views, thank you very much!
My stay in the sea-view room was fantastic. The room faced the ocean, offering a wide-open view. During the day, I enjoyed the deep blue sea, and the evening and night views were equally captivating. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. Just sitting by the window and watching the waves and the changing sky was incredibly therapeutic...
Beautiful, peaceful accommodation with direct access to the sea.
Location was around 45 minute drive from Naha airport. The room is nice with beautiful sea view and sunset view. The breakfast is mediocre. They charge to rent the beach chairs and life jacket and will not allow guests to snorkel in the sea without one. The closest convenient store is a 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk.
The hotel is a bit old, but the service is absolutely fantastic. Both the Chinese and Japanese staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room is spotless, and there's a tatami area perfect for entertaining guests, chatting, or having tea. It's very quiet and comfortable. You can go snorkeling directly from the hotel's small beach downstairs, but you'll need to rent a life vest. When there are fewer...

THE PLACE IS VERY CONVENIENT FOR EVERY TRAVELLER BECAUSE IT IS NEAR THE TRAIN STATION. THE ROOM IS CLEAN AND PEACEFUL.
The food is buffet style, but a bit underwhelming.
The rooms are average.
The location is near the station, but it may be a bit inconvenient for those who live on the other side of the station.
The room was well-cleaned, making for a pleasant stay. The free breakfast was a nice bonus. I'd love to stay again.
Personally, I don't like the fact that they don't issue receipts when you pay in advance. Breakfast was buffet style, which was nice. I'm not sure if take-out is allowed?
I couldn't find much to do near the hotel as far as sightseeing but the hotel itself was wonderful to stay in.

I have been here several times. It is one of my favorite get away spots. They have hot springs, a great international buffet, lovely rooms with great views. It is very modern and spacious. I also think the staff are fantastic and kind.
Recently renovated throughout. Great views of the Saikaibashi bridge, and the whirlpools below. Good breakfast and dinner. Walk the rose garden and continue with a stroll through the nearby fishing harbor to appreciate the spectacular natural surroundings. I would stay here rather than at the Huis Ten Bosch and take advAntage of their free shuttle.
Highly recommended. It offers good rooms and beds. Shower is nice. Plus they offer a hot spring. The lobby has free beer and other drinks and snacks. I will ho back many times.
Great hotel for families. It has everything you need (small pool, kids corner, buffet, spacious rooms, garden...) I highly recommend it.
Not a hotel, a resort! Absolutely perfect vacation stop. Entertainment in the evenings, amazing chefs and food prepared, and couldn't ask for a better atmosphere and lodging. Not to mention the staff that is always looking out for you. I'll be back many times! Thank you for the perfect stay!

No very good service during dinner
Everything was great! The dinner was wonderful, especially the beef and fish with mashed potatoes (a French dish). Everything is explained very clearly and politely! The staff is very warm-hearted.
Staff were super hospitable, breakfast and dinner were decadent and during dinner each dish/course was introduced to us in detail.

Go to Beppu Station's west exit, on the left, at Station 3. Take Line 1 bus 🚌 to the last stop, Kannawa. It's a two-minute walk to Sansuikan. It's so convenient. From Sansuikan, walk left for about eight minutes to Umijigoku 😊. Umijigoku isn't big, but it has a foot bath where you can soak your feet. An hour's worth of exploration is enough. Beppu is a rural area, so don't expect great restaurants...
The rooms are very clean and a must-see for a stay with two meals. Right next to the hotel are White Pond Hell and Sea Hell, a 15-minute walk away. Blood Pond Hell and Tornado Hell are also easily accessible via bus number 16, which takes 15 minutes.
The hotel is in a great location, just across from Kannawa Station from Fukuoka Airport. While the hotel is older, the rooms are clean and the service is excellent. The public hot springs are large and private, so you can enjoy them privately. You can even watch the sunrise from your room.
Since I had to stay one night in Beppu, I had no choice but to choose a place close to Kannawa Bus Terminal.
First of all, the cons that I remember are:
✅️A room that was tricked into saying it had an ocean view
✅️A unique smell
✅️Noise between floors and hallways
✅️No place to enjoy (at night) around
The good points are:
✅The large bath on the first floor (better than the 6th floor)
️✅️A clean open...
The room is a sea view room! There is no crowd at all for the 4 of us!
The open-air hot spring is amazing! Enjoy the sea view and the breeze!

I was glad that the breakfast price was reasonable.
The breakfast curry was delicious.
I'd like to stay here again when I visit Kagoshima.
The problem is that the room is too cold.
Great and warm service, and super convenient pain drive off the main road. The hotel does not look like the pictures and reminds me a bit of a prison block from the outside... very interesting architectural design... but the rooms themselves are very well decorated and comfortable.
The bathroom was like a home, so I was able to relax. The bathroom and toilet space was large, but the living area was small, so it was a bit unbalanced, but I didn't dislike it.
I stayed here for business!
The front desk staff were kind and helpful!
The room was also nicely cleaned!
The location of the power outlets was a little inconvenient, but other than that there were no other issues.

This hotel probably saw it’s heydey in 1988 but it’s still comfortable and well located. The beds and bedding are super comfy with buckwheat pillows. The best part about the hotel is their onsen. It’s huge and has the hottest water I’ve yet experienced in Japan. Location is close to the foot bath and lots of izakayas. Highly recommend Obama Style Izakaya around the corner.
A bit odd checking in to a neighbouring hotel, issues with door lock batteries soon overcome, it was a fabulous base for exploring the coast, inland volcanoes, food and especially the recently reviewed Tourist Information which surely was the best I’ve ever encountered.
The hotel is right on the seaside, and the rooms are large, but the facilities are a bit old. There is a little gecko accompanying you at night
If you are here specifically for travel, this hotel is not suitable. If you are just making a transition, it is a good choice.
The hotel is just right next to the bus terminal. Though it’s old, everything is clean and tidy. The front desk staff is all friendly and eager to help.
It exceeds expectations for the price.
And they assigned me the best room.

The room is tidy and clean. Good value with privacy.
Free food 24 hrs with is incredibly amazing with such a price. Will come back again next time if I travel solo.
The overall service was very clean, and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. The balance of the space was excellent, with the staircase, comic book shelves, and tables all blending together to create a natural and stylish feel. The free drinks and food were simple, and the space felt friendly and welcoming. For those on motorcycle tours, there is also ample space for bike parking, which is great
The room is private and offers good privacy. The common areas, restrooms, and showers are very clean. Free meals are available 24 hours a day. The staff are very friendly. It offers good value for money. The only downside is that check-in is only available from 8 PM, which is a bit inconvenient.
This was an odd stay. My check-in was postponed until 20:00. No idea what happened, perhaps it was a misunderstanding? They do allow to keep baggage in the halway however. So it wasn't a problem. Just felt odd. The room isn't very comfortable, but it got the job done. I got my sleep.
That being said, they offered free food and drinks all the time during stay. Overall it's both the best and the worst...
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but not so much that it's impossible to walk. There's no space to spread out the suitcase, but I was able to spread it out on the bed, so it was perfect for just sleeping. The best part was that udon, rice, bread, curry, and drinks were all free 24 hours a day!!

It was very good. I'm looking forward to the next time.
This was my first time staying here. The hospitality was excellent, and the private pool in my room is said to be one of the largest in Japan, so I was able to relax and unwind. We booked 4 rooms for 10 people stays. So far my family enjoyed the stay here to experience the traditional Japanese ryokan with dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious as well
Staffs are very polite. Room is very big. Good service.
The management is inflexible. Because of flight delays, the hotel refuses to accommodate guests who are delayed by a day. The only option is to cancel without a refund and rebook. However, the hotel claims it's a problem with the system and cannot do this. This lack of flexibility causes losses for guests, which is very unsatisfactory. We hope the management methods can be improved.
Service was great, although I feel like the hotel is targeted at more elderly travelers. Breakfast was pretty and tasty. Onsen feels a bit unrenovated. The garden and the pond are pretty also. Would generally recommend, especially if you like to be thrown back to the 80s (but like in a good way).
This ryokan left mixed feelings.
We decided to walk from the bus stop to the ryokan, and that was a mistake. Along the way, we passed dilapidated and abandoned ryokans, one of which still had a wreath from a funeral. What we saw was truly terrifying.
At the ryokan itself, we were greeted warmly. They took our suitcases and took us to our room. They treated us to cold matcha and canelé.
I was shocked...
Europe style room decoration. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly. Looking forward to watch firework soon.
