This is not five stars, long past its prime. Shabby and the staff are indifferent. Hairs in the bathroom. Aircond not working as it should. No help with luggage at all. Limited access to the gym (old). The only positive thing is breakfast. Never again.

Overall it’s a 7/10
First, we arrived to the hotel early and the receptionist told us that all the rooms are fully booked so she couldn’t make early check-in and we would understand. But then she came back to us after 5mins and said if we agreed to pay 50% extra retail price for the room, she would tell her colleague to prepare a room for us. So, the point is the hotel is fully booked OR there are rooms extra?
Secondly, we had an odd feeling at the hotel, we stayed 2 nights and the staff barely greeted the guests. They were chatting amongst themselves.
Third, we went out for the day from 9AM and came back to take a nap and around 4PM someone finally came to do room service.
Overall, the room was spacious for 3 and the view from our room is very nice but we will not come back to Radisson in Astana.

The lake is frozen, and the traffic flowing back and forth on the bridge and the ice under the bridge form a beautiful scenery.

Very good service. Clean and peacefull. You have access to gym,swimmung pool and saunas.

Not a bad hotel. I lived there for four days in a small standard room. Good experience marred by two facts. First, unstable TV: ripples, no sound; the number of announced TV channels never showed up. Second, sorry, the toilet is so close to the wall on one side that a full-fledged sit on it was impossible. In the lobby of the luxury boutiques. Sold by old English silver, copper Tula samovar, standing a fortune. But I these goods are somehow not interested. More important were the usual comfort. Breakfast is not outstanding, but good. Fresh juices, fruit was not offered. Yes, the location of the hotel is that guests do not walk and eat in his restaurants.
