Hotel Dami in Astana

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite booking well in advance, I received a message only one minute before check-in time (at 1:58 PM) notifying me that there was no hot water available. This was very frustrating as I arrived right at check-in time and had already planned activities shortly after. When I asked if there was any compensation or reduction in price, I was told there was none.

What made it even worse was that I learned the hotel had been aware of the hot water issue since the day before my arrival, but they failed to inform me until the last minute. This lack of transparency and communication was extremely unprofessional.

Additionally, the hotel does not have an elevator, which meant I had to carry my 25-kilogram suitcase up to the second floor—a significant inconvenience. The room itself was clean and the interior was pleasant, but the constant noise from the refrigerator made it hard to sleep.

Given that this hotel claims to be four stars, I found the overall experience far from satisfactory. The lack of hot water, poor handling of the situation, and misleading information about the amenities made it clear that this hotel does not meet the standards of a four-star establishment. I would not recommend staying here.
