Bakyt Hotel in Cholpon-Ata

For us, the hotel was just okay. We only stayed one night, but we were glad we weren't staying there. The room was a junior suite. Some parts were ugly, others were okay. There was no toilet paper, but they brought it after we asked. They don't supply water in the room, and either there's no WiFi, or it didn't work in our room. The toilet is loose. There are no outlets near the bed. The water was barely running in the morning, but it was fine in the evening. But the room is large, with a sofa. We only tried breakfast and left hungry because we didn't eat much. Although, for some, it's fine. It's not a buffet; everyone gets their own portion. Millet porridge, with little millet and a lot of soup-like goo (the goo is more like sweetened water with a little milk added). Bread, sausage, cheese. A potato and onion pie, some kind of cake. Cookies. Tea.
A nice beach is a 7-minute walk away.

Wonderful hotel. No complaints. Everything is fine, except .... In the evenings, at the entrance to the territory, there are 2-3 traffic police cars and 10 patrolmen who stop absolutely all cars without exception. They pick on everything without exception. They fooled me for 30 minutes, allegedly I have attachments in the form of fog lights, although I bought a car with fog lights already installed. None of the employees were wearing masks, gloves, or antiseptics. During these 30 minutes, the employees managed to go chasing a car along with my documents, the driver of which did not obey ... I was driving from a pharmacy with medicines for a child. They threatened to issue a decision to put my car in a penalty parking lot at 22.00. Several times they asked: "What are we going to do?". I answered: arrange. As a result, they were graciously released. My conclusion: I will never again go to rest in any hotel in the area.
