Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort was truly one of the most amazing places I have ever visited in my life. The resort has everything you could possibly need, so there is no need to go to another island at all.
The restaurants were incredible the food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced.
There are so many water activities to enjoy, and everything was perfectly organized. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was flawless.
A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

The noise from the pool circulation pump in the room was extremely bothersome. The air conditioner's outdoor unit was also very noisy. Although Ctrip and the hotel offered some compensation, it couldn't possibly make up for the bad mood that's essential for a good vacation…

I stayed at Anantara Veli Maldives but my second day was all at Anantara Dhigu Maldives. I find this island is awesome, the surroundings are so relaxing and cosy.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort — Catching up with our friends from the UK, truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. From when we arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely helpful. A special mention to our villa host, Kadir, who was simply outstanding. Nothing was ever an issue — everything was handled seamlessly, communicated clearly, and always with a smile. The rooms were cleaned by Omar, the villa was maintained to an exceptionally high standard every single day — spotless and well stocked with towels. A highlight of our trip was the nurse shark dive. Mustafa and his team were excellent — highly professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. As seasoned PADI divers, we felt completely safe and well looked after throughout. We also took the short boat ride over to Anantara Veli Maldives Resort, where we had dinner at the Japanese restaurant — a real highlight — and went back during the day to enjoy lunch and relax by the pool. The staff there were just as attentive and welcoming. Fire & Ice restaurant was right up there with the best we’ve experienced anywhere — outstanding steaks and a fantastic atmosphere. The food across the resort was consistently high quality — fresh and varied A truly special place. We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be coming back

I had wonderful experiences at Anantara Dhigu. The overwater villa had a great view and easy access to the clear water. Staffs are nice and prompt to provide the best service, especially Ram. There are many restaurants but breakfast buffet at Fushi can be improved a bit for more selection.

The room was spacious, and the environment was absolutely stunning. The lagoon view from the overwater villa was incredible, and my kids loved the pool room – it's definitely a top choice for family trips. The island is very quiet; at night, you can catch sand crabs and hermit crabs, which is incredibly relaxing. The room was cleaned twice a day, but we only requested it once, as we mostly relaxed in the room in the afternoon and didn't want to be disturbed. Tipping certainly made the butler more attentive, which is expected in a tipping culture. Before leaving, I bought some souvenirs, thinking they'd be expensive, but they turned out to be even cheaper than at the airport. The overwater villas can be quite windy at night, so if that bothers you, a beach villa might be better. The food was more European/Western-style. Overall, it was a good experience.

Overall, the hotel is good and offers a comfortable stay, however the experience felt quite different from the authentic Maldives vibe we were expecting.
One area that could definitely be improved is the food.
There were some difficulties accommodating gluten-free and lactose-intolerant diets, with a rather limited selection available, which made dining a bit challenging at times.
The service, however, was good. The staff were professional and kind, and I would especially like to mention the lady who assisted us during our stay — she was always prompt, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which we truly appreciated.
One downside of our experience was the room situation. We felt disappointed to discover that there was a large construction directly in front of our room, which was not clearly mentioned or visible in the photos on the hotel’s website. Because of this, we felt the need to upgrade our room, which was not something we had initially planned.
In summary, while the hotel has positive aspects and good service, there are areas where clearer communication and improvements could enhance the overall guest experience.

It was an amazing resort for my family (3 adults and 2 teens). The resort covered everything by we needed: food, activities, comfortable stay, and ease of transportation.
First I want to say thank you to Shujaau (our room attendant) who responded to every message within 5 minutes to make sure we could get reservations at the restaurants, a buggy, questions about the activities, and making sure our stay was easy. He even ensured that there was a bike for everyone to enjoy moving around the island.
The Aquafanatics team was very helpful to make sure our trip was packed with lovely activities like dolphin + nurse shark snorkeling and jet skis + kayaks. Till and Mustafa were very accommodating and helped answer any questions about aquatic animals and reefs.
The food and beverages team, led by Pankaj, was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions (3 vegetarians and 2 vegans). Even within the restaurants, Ramu and other waiters were able to cater to our needs and adjust the menus to make sure that we had a variety of foods over our 4 night stay.
The transportation on the island and to the airport was amazing and smooth sailing(a few wavy rides but it was a lot of fun and always felt safe). The bikes were super helpful to get around the island and the pontoons were perfect to get to the restaurants.
There was lots to do on the island itself as well like yoga, kids club, pool, and the gym. Midun is an amazing trainer, who also runs the boxing session, and is very technical and knowledgeable about health and fitness.
The rooms were lovely and had access to the water. They had everything we needed with towels, water bottles, and lots of space. The insides were beautifully done and very comfortable (even with the extra bed). From our over water villa, we were able to see lots of fish, crab, and even a few sharks. Whether it was sunny or rainy, the team and the room were perfect to give us a proper Maldives experience.
