Samah is the best!!!!
Our stay at Kuramathi Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the incredible variety of food—every meal felt like a new culinary adventure.
What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was Samah. We were on the 71 room and, from day one, he greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. He was always attentive, anticipating our needs, answering every question, and offering helpful tips about the resort, local culture, and hidden gems around the island.
One of the most memorable touches was when we asked for a coconut. Samah brought it to our room and had prepared it beautifully, adorned with delicate flowers—it was so thoughtful and adorable! Small gestures like this, combined with his genuine friendliness, professionalism, and constant care, turned our stay into something extraordinary.
Thanks to Samah, our time at Kuramathi wasn’t just a vacation—it was a truly magical experience. I was very satisfied with this trip. I ate at all three restaurants, and the food was delicious. The staff cleaned the room twice a day, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, there was a detailed explanation in Chinese. The night before our departure, we received a notification with important details. All in all, it was a very pleasant holiday.

This is the third time we have chosen this location, and every time we come back we are reminded why we love it so much. The place feels natural, authentic, and incredibly peaceful ; it’s the perfect environment to truly relax and disconnect.
The staff are always warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes us feel comfortable from the very first moment. We consistently have a wonderful experience here.
The real highlight of this place, though, is the Kids Club. It is truly one of a kind, not only for the activities offered, but especially for the amazing people who work there. They create such a caring and joyful atmosphere that we genuinely feel at home every time we return.

It's everything it says on the description. A heavenly island, beautifully kept, impeccably clean. It met and exceeded our expectations. Perfect place to relax, the best snorkeling I've ever done, the buffet was ok- some strange combinations of food but they mixed it up every night with a different theme. It could get busy at times with guests pushing but the island itself was remarkably quiet, despite us travelling in peak season. We stayed in the garden villa and it was amazing and not in any way basic. No need for anything more expensive. Staying in the middle of nature with an outdoor shower was a real highlight. They clean the rooms twice a day and provide mosquito repellents. They have a shuttle that runs frequently to take you around the island. Lots of bars to chill out in, with infinity pool views. Our first Maldives experience and I am so glad we chose this place, it ticked every box. The only thing I can find a tiny bit of fault with is that the staff weren't as friendly as we've experienced in other places.They were perfectly polite but didn't go out of their way to provide exceptional customer service (with the exception of one of the bars). But this doesn't stop me rating it 5* and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for complete relaxation (not just romantic couples, there were a mixture of guests). If you're on the basic all inclusive, make sure you check when ordering drinks what is included so as not to get caught out. We took the boat from Male and it took 1.5 hours.

We had the most amazing honeymoon at Kuramathi. The travel portion gave my husband and I the most anxiety, but the hospitality starts the moment you step off the plane, where someone escorts you to the sea plane terminal and you sit in a lovely lounge until your plane is ready (with free pastries and drinks). Then, you’re escorted to your plane where your checked bags are already loaded. Upon landing, you’re greeted with a cold towel and juice, and an explanation of how everything works. Your bags end up in your room, too! On the way back, they give you clear instructions and a timeline of when you should be packed with your bags ready, picked up by the buggy, checked out, and loaded onto the sea plane.
From start to finish, this place is amazing. The staff is so friendly, specifically want to shoutout the staff at Kobe, the Reef, and Laguna Bar (Rohul, Kritika, Louize, Samjhana and others whose names I didn’t catch)! We also very much enjoyed our chef at Kobe, but did not catch his name, and the Indian restaurant Tandoor Mahal.
Last but not least, Maishan made our vacation next level. He cleaned and restocked our room twice per day, was so kind, did lovely sand art by our door, and even brought us coconut water one day.
We truly could not have had a better honeymoon, thank you to Kuramathi for your hospitality and kindness. We hope we are able to come back one day, but if not we will most certainly be recommending this resort to anyone who wants to visit the Maldives.

Wonderful holiday in Kuramathi
We spent two weeks on this beautiful island and had an unforgettable time. The service everywhere was very good, and all staff members were extremely friendly and helpful.
The island is very large and offers many opportunities to explore and experience new things. Everything is very clean, and there are plenty of activities to choose from. Our two snorkeling trips were especially a highlight and will remain unforgettable for us.
We would like to give special thanks to our waiter Madheeh at the Haruge Restaurant. He was always incredibly friendly and attentive to all guests.
We would also like to thank our room attendant Majid, who cleaned our room perfectly every morning and evening and created a beautifully decorated bed for us every day.
One small suggestion for improvement: there are no bicycles on the island, only shuttle buses that take guests wherever they want to go. It happened quite often that a bus did not always come in our direction, so we sometimes had to walk. This was not a big problem, but perhaps the service could be improved slightly here.
There are many restaurants to choose from, and our favorite was The Reef.
We can highly recommend Kuramathi and completely fell in love with the Maldives and its fascinating underwater world. Thank you for this wonderful holiday! :)

Kuramathi finally happened this time! After two trips to the Maldives, I finally got to stay at the hotel I originally wanted. The deluxe pool villa was actually quite good, very, very beautiful, definitely worth a visit. The sandbank was submerged by the sea, but the water wasn't too deep to walk across. I also saw a stunning sunset, which made for amazing photos. There's a Chinese-speaking front desk staff member. The food in the restaurants, however, was really, really bad. Coming from an Intercontinental resort, I felt like there was nothing to eat. Restaurant 3 seemed to have all sorts of curries, and they were mainly just awful. The snorkeling near the front desk was great, saw lots and lots of fish. We also paid to go snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon and the sandbank, which was indeed very good.

We stayed at Kuramathi Maldives and it was an unforgettable experience. The service is excellent, and the staff are truly amazing -incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help, especially our room ateendant Maishan, he even draw so beautiful arts with sand near our door. Our villa was wonderful, and the housekeeping was immaculate with cleaning done twice a day.
The island itself is large, with something to discover and enjoy in every corner. It’s unbelievably beautiful - a true paradise.
Most importantly, we chose to have our Renewal of Vows ceremony through the resort, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The organization was flawless, the experience was filled with emotions, and it gave us some of the most romantic moments of our lives.
Kuramathi made our stay and our special day absolutely perfect.
