Absolutely fantastic! Paulous Valletta was an absolutely fantastic stay. We had the room on at the top with the balcony overlooking the harbour and our to sea. Highly, highly recommend! We took the penthouse apartment in a typical stone built building quirky decor and layout and fabulous views over the harbour. We took breakfast on our private terrace each morning looking out over the water. Staff friendly. Easy access to great restaurants and museums

A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. Also unable to see to read on the balcony too due to the lighting and no comfy chairs to relax outside.

I got there very late, no staff available but very good communication via WhatsApp. Able to stay overnight in a very nice and clean place. Bed was very good. Breakfast was provided. Loved it!

First, let me say that the room is close to the airport and clean, which is why we booked it. But the “king” bed is not even a queen—it’s a full, and it was self-check in, when I filtered for hotels. I wanted a front desk. Instead I got a text with instructions for how to access the keys. The owner is nice enough, and again, the place was fine. But it was way too expensive for self-check in to sleep...

Children are not allowed in the hotel, so I didn't check in, and a lot of the information was unclear, and I couldn't cancel even if I contacted the hotel or Ctrip. I won't choose this hotel next time.

Bus around don’t work till July 4th, and the government don’t make clear notice. So be prepared to take taxi to Valletta if live here. Other than that, very nice place and the owner Marvik is an awesome guy. Malta government should do a better job.

A unique, wonderful view from the hotel window to the capital Valletta. The service at the hotel is good. The operators are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the selection is quite wide. The biggest problem is that the pool is quite far from the hotel. There are also problems with parking at the hotel. But in general, everything is good.

The only good perk is the location which is located right by the ferry port and other companies ferry and the view from my room is amazing. Bad experience, there was no water in the room, we spent the day on a walk and we couldn't even take a shower, the staff didn't give us any option, we had planned to go out for dinner but I couldn't go, with salt water without a shower, the air conditioning lasts the night for ventilation, without bath and without air, chaos, I don't recommend it. This property was chosen for access to the airport. It was about 11 euros taxi ride, and very convenient. This is a working port town but a nice walk around the sea with a little beach. The hotel provides beach towels. We enjoyed the restaurant next door but there was one in the hotel and plenty of others surrounding the hotel. The staff was nice and the room was comfortable with a port view and balcony

The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

Short one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from my room. The location is superb, right on the beach, very clean room, comfy bed. Highly recommend this hotel in Birzebbuga.

I had a great experience at The Triton. Despite arriving late at night, everything was well prepared for my arrival, including the door access code and the room key. The location is excellent, close to everything, which made getting around very easy. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Nice little apartment, with all the amenities you would want. Helpful staff (Janice) on reception, with good local knowledge. Great location for the bus station, lots of nice cafes/restaurants/shops close by. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the St Paul’s Bay area.

The check in process was smooth, the staffs are so helpful and friendly, room cleanness was good, they cleaned our room once (the second day, we stayed for 4 days) which was alright for us. Location was good, within minutes of walking from several bus stops with multiple buses. Extremely convenient when visiting Rabat/ Mdina, Mellieħa and Gozo. Room itself was big and well equipped. One of the towels was a bit dirty and some parts were showing its age but other than that the area was generally kept clean. I felt this was extremely worth the price I paid and would certainly stay here again...

Apart from one member of staff the rest of the other staff were excellent they were very helpful curtious polite we couldn't ask for any more. The breakfast was really good, it was plentyful, had a good range of food and the quality was clean and tasty. As a budget hotel it was well worth the money we paid and would recommend to others. We as a family wouldn't hesitate in going back.

The air con and ventilation are not working and the room is always very humid and there’s always several insects flying around. The breakfast is quite simple but the sausages & bacons & eggs are way too oily. The juice is quite bad but the coffee/chocolate machine is good enough.

Hotel Flamingo is incredibly good, all praise for the staff, hygiene and kindness. The breakfast is correct, maybe add a little more fresh fruit and vegetables. Breakfast was great! But it didn't start until 7 am, and the soundproofing was a bit poor. The hairdryer adapter seemed to have been taken by other tourists, so we had to use our own. The air conditioning didn't feel cold at all, I don't know if it was locked in winter.

My Friend and I (2 students from Germany) went to Malta for 1 week. The stay at the hotel was really nice. The housekeepers were trying to make to stay for us as good as possible. The have been really helpful all the time. There's a 24h service at the reception and whenever you have a question or need some advice they always helped us in a very friendly way. Amazing place! We were very worried about it judging by others opinions but everything changed when we arrived. Room was extremely clean and fresh. The place is run by its owners (wife and husband). They are very nice and kind people. We stayed at Euro Guest House for a week and payed 147 euro which is extremely cheap. We didn't buy the breakfast option because we preferred to try some local specialities...

Clean and comfortable Seaview room. Room and hotel in general could use a bit of upgrading; I felt we traveled back to the early 70's, but in very good condition. Breakfast buffet is good and plentiful. We also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant.

My brother’s family (2 adults and a 6-year-old) stayed at the Spinola Hotel from 30 January to 2 February 2026 and had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist staff were excellent, especially Jay Naranja who made sure everything was comfortable and hassle-free. The hotel is perfectly located in a central area, making it easy to get around. Overall, great value for money and highly recommended.

The hotel is located close to upper part of the Island with nice view to Sliema bay. The rooms are clean, but the fridge is paied extra. The breakfast is simple, without warm meals. Be careful, the rooms are equipped with English type socket. The swimming pool is nice.

The hotel is in a suburban area, but not far away there are very cheap businesses to buy food and rent scooters. Within 15 minutes by scooter you can be in St Julian's, Sliema or Valletta. The staff is nice, the room was big and clean. The swimming pool is not very big, but enough to relax. Good value for money.

When we arrived at the hotel we had to wait around 15 minutes for the reception to come and greet us. There was no air conditioning in the reception which is really bad because of the high temperatures we have. Room was big enough apart for the bathroom which was very small! One side of the room was all glass to see over the street but there is lack of privacy because curtains did not close very well...

Great and comfortable hotel located in central Paceville. We stayed here with our infant son, they provided a crib, and had amenities like beach towels and converter plugs available. Delicious breakfast and great pizza restaurant attached. For the price, it's a great place to stay while touring around Malta.

We usually stay here when we come to Malta as it's almost in the middle of everything. The sea is 3 minute walk away. Any pizzeria is almost 3 minutes away, and if you want to eat at the Rokna anyway, they have a restaurant with great selections. Free parking for 1 hour. It's right across the street from the Hilton Hotel. Gift shops are very close. Bus stop even closer to take you to Valetta, Sliema...

Better than staying in Valetta is staying around any hotels in St.Julians bay.

Malta's oldest pizzeria well worth a visit. It may also Malta's smallest elevator. The rooms are worn and the electrical plug require adapter.

Provicario is a dream of a B&B in Victoria on Gozo. I am not a Prince at all, but sleeping two nights with a princess at a little castle as Provicario, it was the closest experience that I had. The place is just beautiful, the location can’t be better, the owners are taking care that you feel at home, the breakfast it is delicious. Beautiful B&B. The owners are welcoming and have designed a very stylish and comfortable place to stay. French style breakfast was great, with a different local delicacy every day. Roof terrace had fantastic views of the castle, and our balcony had views of the square out the front. Would stay again without hesitation.

Charming hotel at the heart of Gozo! The rooftop room is cozy and has a large terrace, great to chill out with a view after a day trip around the island. Great location in the center of Victoria. The building has been totally renovated with great taste. Big room and amazing bathroom. We spent 3 nights with 1 kid and Isabelle and Patrice were great hosts. Do not miss the breakfast in the morning or the beer (Cisk) in the evening on the roof top. Great choice of furnitures.
