The room cleanliness was okay, but honestly, only one restaurant was good; the rest were terrible! The facilities were also outdated, beach management was poor, and the beach environment was unpleasant. I highly do not recommend it; for the same price, you can stay elsewhere.
It was a very comfortable trip with my wife. The sea view room had a nice view, but the room size was a bit smaller than the standard room. Overall, it was very nice, but there were long queues for restaurants. If I have the chance, I would probably come back again.
Quite disappointing. It's not as good as Xcaret. The room was damp and smelled bad, and no one cleaned it during my stay. The room service had limited options and the food was unappetizing. The hotel restaurants were inconsistent in quality, and you could easily end up with a bad experience.
The hotel was packed, everyone was incredibly busy, and check-in wasn't possible even by 3 PM. No one was pushing timeshare packages that included spa treatments. The cleanliness was so-so; there was hair in the toilet bowl, and the drains smelled slightly. We waited over two hours for biso (a type of Japanese restaurant) in the evening, and the entire hotel was swarming with mosquitoes. I got bitten...
The room is spacious and well-equipped. Hello: I was assigned a room at the very edge ~ it was inconvenient to get in and out (was it because I booked it through the OTC Ctrip platform? A bit discriminatory? Or because we are Asian?) ~ I hope Ctrip will follow up and find out more!
The service was good, the food was good, and the scenery was great. The only downside was that the room was too humid, so inland friends might not be able to adapt. The room was modern, but for those who are used to staying in good hotels in China, there is still some gap, so there is no need to have too much fantasy. I used the pad in the room to order food, but it didn't come. I had to call to remind...

The bathroom window wouldn't close, making it noisy throughout the night. The showerhead was faulty, and the hot water pressure was poor. The furniture probably needs some repairs as well.
It was okay, nothing special but it got the job done.
The room felt dated, and the water boiler was quite noisy, especially at night. The doors also have poor sound insulation, so footsteps and conversations from the corridor are clearly audible.
Big and clean pool; decent food; good location
Thank you for our wonderful 4 night stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The only negative side is no kettle in the room and they charged us for 2 cups of boiling water of 80 pesos. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions but that’s why we booked here. Thanks again
Nice ,clean hotel , located 15 min from Langusta Beach, my room was good, air conditioner works, good Wi Fi, good bedding Excellent deep swimming pool, with plenty of beach beds Good simple buffet breakfast Stuff is supportive I would recommend this hotel

Well this hotel needs upgrades, people already working, they're on site, so not possible to stay in room and relax during the day. Conveniently located in a shopping area with Walmart, restaurants icecream shop and also a very nice pet shop and more. You need to park your car where need to pay a small amount. Rooms , carpets in the hallway need upgrade urgently. Staff is very nice, most of them work...
If you’re on a business trip this is the place. If you’re coming for vacation I would say try getting closer to the beach but if you’re in a budget then this place won’t be the luxurious next to the water place you’re wishing for but it’s not far from the beach area so you could take an uber, and you’ll be surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets so you’ll be alright
Such an amazing stay! Rooms were comfortable, great and cool AC, breakfast was great, I hope you get to try the caramelized plantains on one of the days, walmart right across from hotel, good for Gatorade, electrolits, etc..., great restaurants behind, safe area, seven eleven walking distance too, Krispy Kreme also close, try la flor de Lis or la Parilla, great food, pool was nice, gym available...
Had a good comfortable 1 night stay. Was upgrade to a suite and not much of a difference I guess. Room 604. Nice big windows of the street ahead with beautiful fountains. Good breakfast - usual continental food and friendly staff. Thankfully, the guy at check in and different person at Check out knew English. But, rest of the time was a lady who knew only Spanish. Had extremely difficult interaction...
Good budget friendly Hilton property, perfect for an overnight stay. A quick ride from the airport. Easy check in with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were basic but clean. Small pool, adequate continental breakfast, and beautiful wide windows for a great street view. Hotel is outdated smells terrible. Food was on not the greatest kind of bland. There is only one elevator which you had to wait forever. The shower was  cold I told the front desk couple of times still cold. I should have listened to the negative reviews they are on point. Almost all the staff didn’t speak English which All that together was frustrating especially on vacation. The only thing that was...
This hotel is a 3-star for me. So, it's very expensive for what it is. The building needs a refresh. The rooms don't have toiletries, and the pool is tiny. The beach isn't like the pictures on the website. The air conditioning broke down. In short, I'm disappointed. Because Trip.com advertises it as a 4 or 5-star, I was hoping for at least a minimum level of comfort, especially for the price I paid...
The hotel has good infrastructure and is conveniently located. However, it's advisable to improve the signage, given that it's two connected buildings with somewhat unusual architecture. I found the service to be very good; the food provided is generous and available practically all day; the rooms are clean, as are the facilities in general. It's recommended that the bathrooms be modernized to make...
The only bad thing was that we spilled a drink in the room and there was no one to help us clean it up. We even had to go down to reception to get rags to clean it up.
Is definitely a 2 . Nothing to get excited over. It is like you think it could be for 2.5 hotel. All inclusive means cheap food, cheap food.
Although it is called an all-inclusive hotel, the dining time is not synchronized with the hotel check-in and check-out time. The buffet lunch I booked could not be eaten at all. I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. The hotel ignored it. Although Ctrip refunded part of the fee, the entire itinerary plan was ruined and the fee was not consistent.

We had an incredible room with an incredible view for an incredible moment ! They where very kind with us as we came there to celebrate our engagement. The only missing point is the food
Royal solaris is a good option if you want just a resort experience but its little far from the main hotel zone.
Nice place to relax during vacation, staffs are friendly and kind.
The rooms were clean and the staff's service was impeccable. The restaurant staff, in particular, provided very attentive service.
Rating: 10/10 Excellent all-inclusive resort in Cancun with outstanding service. We arrived early in the morning, and the staff kindly allowed us to use the buffet right away, which was a very nice and welcoming touch. I was put up in the hotel bc of a cancelled flight. It's close to CUN airport if that's what you need. The service was good, food was decent. My only issue w the rooms were how thin the walls are. I could hear everything from the room next to me. And that poor person's headboard was up to mine and probably didn't sleep as I was coughing all night! I heard their alarm in the morning very easily. The...
The hotel is very convenient. Close to the airport and Walking distance to the outlet mall. Service is ok. Receptionist don't speak English well. So I will start with the room and location were good, the main reason for a 3 is, the shuttle service was some of the worse we have dealt with, from pick up and drop offs, waiting and communication was well below any of expectations or what we have had anywhere before. The staff upon check in were very passive aggressive and the morning check out guy was just plain rude. The restaurant staff were good...
Great stay if you need to be at the airport the next morning! The hotel room was nice, very clean, and had room service. Free airport shuttle runs every 30 or 45 minutes, even in the middle of the night. Make sure you reserve it for early rather than late because sometimes it is delayed.
Our room was very comfortable. You have everything you'll need during your stay. The kitchen was useful to us since the room service is a little expensive. The airport shuttle was right on time.

This was an overall nice property with nice location, beautiful beach and pools. The food truck and tacos by the pool were hits for our midday lunch/snack. Food was good, clean, great entertainment.. Swimup bars great service.. Kids activities were awesome. Great customer service..
Enjoyed sitting by the pool. Not a swimmer, but refreshing to just get in the pool. The staff was all very helpful and our room was maintained well while we were there.
The beach is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is also beautiful. The food and drinks definitely not the best and service was very slow. We had a great time as a family, but I definitely expected better food quality, and better service.
I recently stayed at Iberostar Selection Cancun for my friend’s wedding. The property is beautiful, with stunning ocean views and a clean, well-kept beach. However, while the setting feels five-star, the experience overall was closer to a solid three-star stay. Some staff were friendly and professional, while others seemed tired or disinterested. Glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews, food was good, rooms were clean, felt safe with small children. The only downside is the app for booking a la carte restaurants just did not work at all for us. There was quite a few times we were in a long line for food. There is a bit of pressure from the "concierges" to attend their "special" breakfasts to celebrate some made up event. Avoid its some confusing...

No privacy (bathroom door not full and if you turn the bathroom light on, the whole room lights up The app never worked for us to make dining reservations Evening shows were excellent
During my stay at this hotel, the experience was disappointing and far below expectations. The bathroom door scraped when opening, which is a basic issue that should have been resolved with minimal maintenance. The pillow was uncomfortable, directly affecting the quality of sleep, which is unacceptable for a hotel that presents itself as a comfort-oriented option. The biggest issue, without a doubt...
Overall it’s crowded. Long lines to the buffets, not all the restaurants Included. Only beach is nice for the kids, but no activities for the kids.
housekeeping expectations were not communicated earlier. Cleaning is done every other day, but was not communicated when we checked in. Restuarant options are limited. But the ones that are there are good.
The hotel front desk and staff were proactive and enthusiastic, and the food was decent. Although the hotel has been living in a high-rise area for a long time, the rooms have a moldy smell and outdated facilities. The swimming pool and sea view are small and crowded, with noisy noise. The physical examination during check-in was not satisfactory.

I’ve booked through Orbitz for years. When it says taxes and fees included, I’ve never have been charged additional amounts by the hotel. This hotel charges a environmental sanitation fee.
Staff and hotel overall is great. Truly convenient location. I recommend to those staying in Cancun as it’s a money saver.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Easy walk (less than 1 km) to central ADO bus terminal. Good value for the price.
Is on the center of cancun city and very close to the hotel zone. Some rooms are smaller than others with a humede smell and the personal sometimes is very lazy and heedless. The internet doesn't reach most rooms and you always need to stay at lobby for get connection. I don't recommend the breakfast. This place is good for rest and the closeness to ADO and hotel zone. For more reasons is bad.
Great place to stay. Close to everything. You can catch the bus to go everywhere!

We arrived at night, and in the morning we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, vibrant colors and the stunning view from the balcony. It was truly a lovely experience.
I've stayed in many hotels in Cancun, and this one was very cheap. The downsides are that a 2000 peso deposit is required at check-in, and upon check-out, the front desk has to check the room! They only refund the money after everything is in order. The room I booked was on a two-story building, and there was a very steep and narrow staircase right at the entrance, which was very inconvenient. The...
No water is offered in the room & they do not advise you (no matter what time you are checking in).
The rooms are apartment-style, mostly with ocean views. The design is a bit retro, and you can hear the sound of the waves. Even after check-out, you still need to check in! The security guard is quite strict!!!
The environment here is really great. It has its own beach and swimming pool. The beach is very clean, the beach chairs have plenty of sunshades, and there is also its own infinity pool. The food in the restaurant next to the pool is also great. The blue sea is beautiful. The female front desk staff is kind and amiable. Credit cards are accepted at the front desk and the restaurant. Great hotel , good price good service
The Wi-Fi is a big problem; there was no cell phone signal in the rooms. Breakfast is complimentary, as they say. The truth is, it's a very functional hotel for arriving and sleeping in the hotel zone. Its location is good, very close to the Intercontinental Hotel bus stop.
The hotel is located in a beautiful place and the territory is beautiful. But the hotel itself is very old and requires complete reconstruction. At the same time, the service in the hotel is good. But the conditions for living are more for survival.
The location of the hotel is very good, there is a lake behind it, it is nice to sit next to it. The hotel front desk is very friendly
Because it was located in the hotel zone, it had good access to the beach and was an area where pick-up and drop-off services were available for tours.
The photos on Trip are 10 times better than the hotel itself the shower is cold there was no remote control for the air conditioning and they charge a fee upon arrival for cleaning the room which is not registered on the reservation otherwise overall it remains correct to spend a few nights in the hotel but nothing more.

Nice simple no-frills hotel, but please note that if you want to go to the beach club, you will need very early reservation as it is full and only available in the morning
The Location is the only plus here, the check in process was horrible. The stress of the holidays and the inconsistencies of booking errors made us feel on the edge the entire stay. When asked to be transferred, they said no straight away and when we start to be firm they wanted us to vacate the...
The service was mediocre, a bit arrogant, and overly focused on business rather than guest experience. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you can avoid it.
There was a bit of a language barrier. However, the facilities were amazing and the location was right next to a big mall with a supermarket, food court, cinema, and a few stores. The breakfast was buffet style with custom omelettes, and the pool was great too.
The hotel is located in the city center, with a large shopping mall within walking distance. There's also a night market nearby, perfect for experiencing local night market culture. It's also easy to get a taxi to the hotel area.

Wonderful staff in a dated themed hotel, but excellent for money for those on a tightbudget, you get what you pay for.
The room was very clean and there was a pool, so I was very satisfied. The Wi-Fi was fast and there were no problems. There were times when the shower did not have hot water.
The hotel has what you need and is close to restaurants and pubs. It is a cozy area to walk around and look around. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel. A cozy pool where you can order drinks. The only minus I can think of is that the wifi did not reach the pool.
Good welcoming , nice service but the water is not too hot
The staff is impatient and has no desire to satisfy and please the customer. They resolve everything by simply letting us know we can make a "complaint." The pool is under construction, which isn't communicated before booking. There was only one outlet for the TV and another in the bathroom, and none near the beds.
The service was very good. The location is excellent for my needs, as close to the bus station. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and shopping nearby. The hotel restaurant has a very friendly staff. The food is good too.  It was my 4th stay at the hotel and I would stay there again.

I like to stay at this hotel, they used to have restaurant in the reception area but now only breakfast. There is shop near the hotel they have food service as well but the food is kind of expensive. The rest it is secure and peaceful polite workers.
If you dont like to walk or don't have transportation, it will be hard to move around. Luckily we had Uber available. Much better than local taxi's. Property needs lots of upgrades. Staff not so friendly, at least not with us, kitchen for breakfast is limited as well. If you're in a rush, yoi cant eat there.
I recommend a restaurant and bar as close as possible where you can sit and have a laugh.

We have stayed at this resort several times, and we continue to love it. Great Location, nice view, food overall was good. This resort needs better exterior upkeep but i think they are running as long as possible and trying to get what they can out of it without dumping too much money into aesthetics. Years ago this resort was probably very very beautiful. Dont get me wrong id stay here again for 4 days for the $80 rate i paid bit no more than $100 a day
Staff very friendly. Resort is older but very nice grounds. Our room was renovated...very nice Beach.
The hotel left a wonderful impression! Cozy rooms, cleanliness, and a convenient location—everything was top-notch. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff deserves special praise: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. And to top it off, the weather was perfect, making the whole stay truly ideal!
This was my family's first trip to Mexico and we didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and though we were too early for check in they got one of our rooms ready for us immediately and gave us our wrist bands to enjoy the bar while we waited for the other. While the property is old and a tad dated, it was clean and well maintained. The beach is fantastic with lots of loungers...
This is an older but nice property with a nice beach. The room is a little outdated, but serves its purpose. The staff was friendly. The food is very authentic and offers something for everyone. You will need to drink fast or drink more to get the most out of the alcohol but the bartenders are nice. I would definitely stay again for the property, price and beach.
The area by the water was beautiful, definitely a smaller resort which was nice! Rooms were ok definitely needing renovations especially the washrooms. Room service was inconsistent regarding filling supplies the soap toilet paper etc. also inconsistent on times when room service comes. Food and drinks were great options for local food and American food which was liked
