Where to stay in Cancun

The room cleanliness was okay, but honestly, only one restaurant was good; the rest were terrible! The facilities were also outdated, beach management was poor, and the beach environment was unpleasant. I highly do not recommend it; for the same price, you can stay elsewhere.

It was a very comfortable trip with my wife. The sea view room had a nice view, but the room size was a bit smaller than the standard room. Overall, it was very nice, but there were long queues for restaurants. If I have the chance, I would probably come back again.

Quite disappointing. It's not as good as Xcaret. The room was damp and smelled bad, and no one cleaned it during my stay. The room service had limited options and the food was unappetizing. The hotel restaurants were inconsistent in quality, and you could easily end up with a bad experience.

The hotel was packed, everyone was incredibly busy, and check-in wasn't possible even by 3 PM. No one was pushing timeshare packages that included spa treatments. The cleanliness was so-so; there was hair in the toilet bowl, and the drains smelled slightly. The room is spacious and well-equipped. Hello: I was assigned a room at the very edge ~ it was inconvenient to get in and out (was it because I booked it through the OTC Ctrip platform? A bit discriminatory? Or because we are Asian?) ~ I hope Ctrip will follow up and find out more!

The service was good, the food was good, and the scenery was great. The only downside was that the room was too humid, so inland friends might not be able to adapt. The room was modern, but for those who are used to staying in good hotels in China, there is still some gap, so there is no need to have too much fantasy. The bathroom window wouldn't close, making it noisy throughout the night. The showerhead was faulty, and the hot water pressure was poor. The furniture probably needs some repairs as well.

It was okay, nothing special but it got the job done.

The room felt dated, and the water boiler was quite noisy, especially at night. The doors also have poor sound insulation, so footsteps and conversations from the corridor are clearly audible.

Big and clean pool; decent food; good location

Thank you for our wonderful 4 night stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The only negative side is no kettle in the room and they charged us for 2 cups of boiling water of 80 pesos. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions but that’s why we booked here. Thanks again

Well this hotel needs upgrades, people already working, they're on site, so not possible to stay in room and relax during the day. If you’re on a business trip this is the place. If you’re coming for vacation I would say try getting closer to the beach but if you’re in a budget then this place won’t be the luxurious next to the water place you’re wishing for but it’s not far from the beach area so you could take an uber, and you’ll be surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets so you’ll be alright

The only bad thing was that we spilled a drink in the room and there was no one to help us clean it up. We even had to go down to reception to get rags to clean it up.

Is definitely a 2 . Nothing to get excited over. It is like you think it could be for 2.5 hotel. All inclusive means cheap food, cheap food.

Although it is called an all-inclusive hotel, the dining time is not synchronized with the hotel check-in and check-out time. The buffet lunch I booked could not be eaten at all. I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. The hotel ignored it. Although Ctrip refunded part of the fee, the entire itinerary plan was ruined and the fee was not consistent.

Royal solaris is a good option if you want just a resort experience but its little far from the main hotel zone.

Great stay if you need to be at the airport the next morning! The hotel room was nice, very clean, and had room service. Free airport shuttle runs every 30 or 45 minutes, even in the middle of the night. Make sure you reserve it for early rather than late because sometimes it is delayed.

The rooms are apartment-style, mostly with ocean views. The design is a bit retro, and you can hear the sound of the waves. Even after check-out, you still need to check in! The security guard is quite strict!!!

The Wi-Fi is a big problem; there was no cell phone signal in the rooms. Breakfast is complimentary, as they say. The truth is, it's a very functional hotel for arriving and sleeping in the hotel zone. Its location is good, very close to the Intercontinental Hotel bus stop.

The hotel is located in a beautiful place and the territory is beautiful. But the hotel itself is very old and requires complete reconstruction. At the same time, the service in the hotel is good. But the conditions for living are more for survival.

There was a bit of a language barrier. However, the facilities were amazing and the location was right next to a big mall with a supermarket, food court, cinema, and a few stores. The breakfast was buffet style with custom omelettes, and the pool was great too.

The hotel is located in the city center, with a large shopping mall within walking distance. There's also a night market nearby, perfect for experiencing local night market culture. It's also easy to get a taxi to the hotel area.

The room was very clean and there was a pool, so I was very satisfied. The Wi-Fi was fast and there were no problems. There were times when the shower did not have hot water.

The hotel has what you need and is close to restaurants and pubs. It is a cozy area to walk around and look around. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel. A cozy pool where you can order drinks. The only minus I can think of is that the wifi did not reach the pool.

The staff is impatient and has no desire to satisfy and please the customer. They resolve everything by simply letting us know we can make a "complaint." The pool is under construction, which isn't communicated before booking. There was only one outlet for the TV and another in the bathroom, and none near the beds.

The service was very good. The location is excellent for my needs, as close to the bus station. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and shopping nearby. The hotel restaurant has a very friendly staff. The food is good too.  It was my 4th stay at the hotel and I would stay there again.

I like to stay at this hotel, they used to have restaurant in the reception area but now only breakfast. There is shop near the hotel they have food service as well but the food is kind of expensive. The rest it is secure and peaceful polite workers.

If you dont like to walk or don't have transportation, it will be hard to move around. Luckily we had Uber available. Much better than local taxi's. Property needs lots of upgrades. Staff not so friendly, at least not with us, kitchen for breakfast is limited as well. If you're in a rush, yoi cant eat there.

I recommend a restaurant and bar as close as possible where you can sit and have a laugh.

The room is very big and the surrounding environment is a bit backward. It is quite far from the scenic spot and you have to take a bus. Overall it is okay.

the property looked very old nothing updated rooms did not look like pic only two towels for bath given nothing else as for new ones when they cleaned they left same towel we had just asked for and used instead of replacing pool super small paid for a night i didnt stay due to flight cancellation

I would come back to this property, next time I’m in Cancun, and atayed in a lagoon view balcony room. The room amenities were nice (full kitchenette, 2 bottles of water + coffee + tea, stackable laundry in room, etc.) and the view was of part of the lagoon, lots of palm trees, the back of property pool (quieter) and the Flow Rider surfing machine, which operates on limited hours. We stayed as a part of our vacation club ownership. All the staff was very helpful and friendly, special shoutout to our assigned concierge representative- Brenda, I also enjoyed activities (HIIT, water aerobics) with Geromo. They have multiple pools on property, direct access to the beach. Also both the sports bar and the Sea &Stone restaurant were very good. We enjoyed our stay.

The food options were very limited and complicated. They need to have basic meal options and pump up the quality of the items. We had to travel to IHOP to eat a decent breakfast. Their Buffet was terrible. Food was dry and sitting too long. No variety. They would close 2 pools in the evening and all guest had no option than to all be in one pool , but they advertise 3 pools. Nice resort to relax and swim. Pools are fun. Main pool is in the sun most of the day but there is a lot of shaded lounge chairs. Food is average and not a lot of options. During summer the seaweed is bad and you cant swim in the ocean. Beds are nice and room was great. We had a balcony with ocean view, a kitchen, and washer/dryer. Bus stop is easy to walk to and close by.

When I booked my vacation stay, I didn't realize it was all-inclusive. Imagine my pleasant surprise when the cost of the hotel room included all meals and unlimited drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Good location so you could walk to just about anything you would need. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The photos of the room were a little deceiving, there are no windows, and we learned you have to run the shower for about 10 minutes before any hot water comes out.

Great Location, nice view, food overall was good. This resort needs better exterior upkeep but i think they are running as long as possible and trying to get what they can out of it without dumping too much money into aesthetics. This is an older but nice property with a nice beach. The room is a little outdated, but serves its purpose. The staff was friendly. The food is very authentic and offers something for everyone. You will need to drink fast or drink more to get the most out of the alcohol but the bartenders are nice. I would definitely stay again for the property, price and beach.
