I stayed at Larosa Hotel for two days and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The room cleanliness was far below expectations. The toilet was not clean at all, including the inside of the closet, which was very unhygienic and unpleasant. The floor of the room also appeared dirty and not properly maintained.

Another major issue was the air conditioner, whenever it was switched on, a bad and uncomfortable smell spread throughout the room, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The room lighting was very poor and insufficient, especially at night. There were also no proper charging sockets available for mobile phones, which is a basic facility every hotel room should provide.

Overall, the hotel seriously needs improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and basic amenities. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel unless they make significant improvements.

Worst ever hotel to stay in Oman,The hotel was not even providing basic amenities to stay in the hotel,we didnt even received a Bath towel,even when we called 10 times,They were treating like we were a refugee to them,We had a bad experience in which one of the room toilets granite tile exploded and caused destruction,Poor services and lack of basic amenities destroyed our muscat vacation stay,so people stay wise, try to choose better hotels other than this.

⭐ 0.5/5 – Worst hotel experience ever, avoid at all costs!

Cleanliness – The room floor was sticky and clearly not mopped properly, making it unhygienic and impossible for my child to walk barefoot. The bathroom was in an appalling state: the bathtub had visible stains, a strong foul smell filled the space, and overall it felt like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Staying in such a condition was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable.

Maintenance – While trying to close the bathroom door, the ceiling light fell off, leaving the bathroom unusable.

Service – Promised technician never came. No proactive support from staff even after repeated complaints.

Amenities – Towels, dental kits, and drinking water were not provided properly, even on the second day.

Check-in – Despite a confirmed Agoda booking, staff made us wait 30 minutes, claiming no record of reservation.

Room access – The key card failed four times; even staff’s master card didn’t work. After multiple trips to reception, we finally got another room past 1 AM.

Parking – No proper parking facility. Guests are forced to leave cars 500m–1km away, highly inconvenient especially with kids and luggage.

Overall impact – The issues forced us to check out early, losing one full day of our planned Muscat trip.

This was the most frustrating hotel stay of my life, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid booking this place.

Very nice place to stay with the family. Very convenient location. Budget-friendly. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Overall we had a very good stay. Staff is also very helpful and kind. Highly recommended.
Will surely visit the place again.

Despite the indifferent staff, rooms are quite nice if rather dated, especially bathrooms. Still, a comfortable bed, desk, armchairs - all that you'd need for a day or two. Breakfast is cheap but very basic - mostly Indian fare. Good location, with several restaurants, juice bars, pharmacies and even a proper bar in another hotel within a 7 minute walk. All in all, pretty decent.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay during my 10-day visit in Muscat. All staff, from reception to Housekeeping to the Shisha Bar on the 7th floor, were more than willing to go that extra mile to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Congratulations to the manager Mr Yusuf for building and maintaining such a strong and able team! All areas were continuously kept clean, the bed and pillows were extra comfortable, the location was superb.

I spent three nights here. Excellent location. Service and accommodation were both good. However the restroom's hot water availability was inadequate. They have a pool with few restriction and a well kept Gym. Breakfast was free, but it wasn't upto par. My overall experience, nevertheless was positive.

Went on Friday evening to eat biryani and kebabs but the place sucks. Couldn't eat any mutton Kebabs because of its hardness and kerosene smell. Friend ordered paneer curry and same review came from him. The ambience and food both are bad.
