Great hotel. Location and service excellent.
Good location and good service and nice room which had good view which can see the square.
Really good hotel. Gave us free breakfast due to a delay on getting our room cleaned. Room was nice and clean and spacious. The only issues were that it was a little cold and the shower was rly small and strangely designed. Not a fan of that.
Very beautiful room! Delicious breakfast and the ambiance is amazing. Loved the views from our room! The room was very luxe with auto curtains, sound proof rooms, modern deep green decor and high quality soaps and lotions. I would stay here a million times over! 10/10 highly recommend!
A very nice hotel, no complaints there. The location is definitely its biggest strength. The restaurant is very good, and the staff is very friendly. The only downside I encountered was that the automatic blinds didn't work properly and didn't block out the light at night. Also, the bathroom door wasn't fireproof, so water easily ended up on the floor.
The facilities are great and the staff are very friendly!

My experience was terrible because unfortunately I made a mistake with the reservation date and not only did I not get to enjoy the trip, but I also didn't receive a refund, so this is the last time I book through Trip!
The hotel boasts a prime location, with friendly staff always greeting guests upon arrival. The lobby features comfortable sofas, perfect for relaxing whenever you return. Coffee, tea, lemonade, and snacks are available, creating a homey atmosphere. The breakfast selection is also plentiful. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are exceptionally spacious. However, our room, located at the back of...
Great location! I chose a room facing the main street and got to enjoy the beautiful tree-lined street every morning. The other guests were mostly quiet couples, and the breakfast atmosphere was lovely. What's more, breakfast is served until 12 PM, and from 12:30 PM onwards, you can enjoy complimentary tea and snacks. It was so convenient to be able to return to the hotel for a break when I got tired...
What a little gem, quality experience from the minute you walk thru the door. Amazing decor, rooms well appointed & clean. Great location, 2 mins walk to Rossio square. Complimentary continental breakfast is on steroids so much more than any complimentary brekkie we've had before
The staff were very friendly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was also very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for two nights, and I would highly recommend it if it's your first time in Lisbon.
A fantastic and unique hotel with traditional decor. The service was excellent, and the rooms offered complimentary water and sparkling water. The lobby also offered free water, coffee, and even alcohol. The location was incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the old town, making it easy to get around. Luggage storage was also available. Highly recommended! 👍

What a clean and beautiful hotel. Location is a plus. The room was spacious and romantic.I got the room with view and was breathtaking. Staff was super attentive. Breakfast is included and it was not the typical continental breakfast you find in some Europe hotels. This was a complete buffet. Totally recommended
The hotel is perfectly located—right in the heart of Lisbon, close to shops, restaurants, and the metro, yet wonderfully quiet at night with no disturbance from the street. The property itself is spotless, modern, and offers an excellent breakfast to start the day. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its remarkable staff. Every team member goes above and beyond with genuine kindness, professionalism...
Location was excellent, close to many restaurants and shops, also close to train station, staff was very courteous, restaurant was excellent.
The location was fabulous! Right next to a lovely square with outdoor cafes and a quick walk to everything. The room was small but perfect for me. I enjoyed the fluffy bathrobe, nice view from the balcony, water in the room, and delicious breakfast each morning... The staff was welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
Did not have WiFi and had to use it in lobby to work. The room did not look like the pictures, unsure if some rooms have been updated, ours was not. Clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast
Our breakfast was NOT free. It was quite expensive but variety was wonderful. Room Was very clean and comfortable. The front desk/ reception staff were FANTASTIC—very helpful with everything including meal reservation with Fado, how to get to various attractions and shops and even with plane check in and taxis.

Staff was super helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming back. Great room, excellent views
When we arrived the hotel and there is some maintenance work going on, they gave me an upgrade to another one which is near by. The staffs are very helpful and even help me to book the bus tickets. Very helpful as a tourist.
A perfect little boutique hotel. I had a wonderful two days in Lisbon. The location was a bit hard to find, in an alley in the Alpha district of the old town. The staff were very friendly. The hotel rooms were small but exquisitely decorated.
The terrace bar has a wonderful view and the service was great.
Alpha district, near the cathedral, except for the Bolt hotel if you are going from the station or airport with luggage, you can walk to other places for shopping. The hotel staff is very friendly, the view on the top floor is very beautiful, they also enthusiastically introduced us to the sardine party celebration on the street, all the facilities of the hotel are very good! Next time I go to Portugal...
The best view of Alfama! The rooftop alone is worth it. The room is very good, well equipped, good bed and very clean. I recommend it!

Good location, nice staff, everything was very clean. Sometimes we can hear the neighboring rooms but it's great overall
The hotel has a cosy, vintage vibe. Downtown and other attractions easily accessible by metro or bus; big plus is direct metro line to/from airport. Staff is friendly, the breakfast selection was moderate but very tasty. Only small issue: the lobby sometimes had a faint cigarette smell…
Very conveniently located at the centre of the city . The metro station is Saldanha just about 100 m from the hotel . Have direct metro (subway) directly to the airport . Red line no need to change lines . One same metro to and from the airport . The wifi is good and the rooms are big enough for spaces . No need to book with breakfast , there are a lot of cafes near by and one just next to the metro...
We stayed at Olissippo  Saldanha for two nights. Hotel room is quiet and can be very dark thanks to remote-controlled blinds.  Nice bathroom, with large shower.  All towels and bedsheets were very clean.  Staff was friendly, professional and could speak many  languages.  Very large bed, but the mattress is on the hard side.  Breakfast was subpar, with bacon being barely cooked and some fruits were...
This hotel was lovely. The staff were very friendly, the room and bedding were cleaned every day, and the breakfast set up was great with a lot of variety depending on what you wanted each day. Would definitely return.
The TV suddenly turned on by itself in the middle of the night for two nights when we were sleeping. Although only the screen lit up with no picture, it was really so scary. I hope the staff can fix it and find out what the problem is. Paper cups were provided in the washroom instead of glasses, which is rare as a 4 stars hotel. But location is good and the staff are helpful and kind.

The facilities and breakfast is average. Lots of mirrors everywhere. Most staffs quite courtious and helpful except for 1 reception on 1st and 4rd day. The room was fantastic, I really loved it. The location was convenient and quick, the cleanliness was excellent, and the service was attentive. Facilities: Very new, good air conditioning, warm, and a great environment. I'll definitely stay here again next time, overall it was great! 👍
Everything was perfect! This hotel is super, stylish, and well-maintained. Plus, it's located close to the city center and the metro. You really have to see it in person!
The hotel was lovely overall. Clean and the staff was super friendly. The only down side is that the air con was controlled and by the central hub but you can communicate with the staff through WhatsApp to change the temperature and they were fast to help. The location is so close to the metro entrance, like 20 metres but the area is not at the nicest part of Lisbon
Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is surprisingly good with a very reasonable price. Location is good. Rooms face street but the noise is not bad after midnight when the traffic is minimal.
Excellent location, the Bica tram view from the room is really nice! Great breakfast too, lots of variety and excellent service.

The service was just okay, but the location was pretty good.
The location isn't in the old town, it's about a ten-minute taxi ride away. It's not far from the airport, a twenty-minute taxi ride. The room is quite spacious. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy.
Very nice location. Room is good enough, well equipped. Friendlly staff. So cose to saldnha and picoas (red and yellow lines) metro stations. Clean room and wi-fi. We satisfied.
Good room, good location, close to metro and bus stops, with supermarket nearby.
Excellent location, though the facilities are a little dated, it feels very safe.
The room was a good size, and the breakfast coffee was delicious. It's conveniently located near the subway, which makes transportation very easy. There are also two shopping malls nearby, complete with a supermarket, making it super convenient for dining and shopping.

I really liked this hotel. It had everything I needed and was excellent for the price. Room was impeccably clean and there was a really nice shower. Bed was comfortable. The only disappointing thing was that the rooftop bar was not open. Solid 4 star hotel option for a great price.
Quick overnight before flying out of Lisbon. Great location, friendly staff upgraded us and checked us in early. I would return.
Very clean hotel, helpful and courteous staff, walking distance to shops and eateries would definitely stay again.

I took my dad to Lisbon for my 30th birthday and Hotel Do Chiado was the perfect base for us! We were able to book a room with separate beds and a balcony. The pictures do not do this hotel justice! The staff was 100% one of the best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered! They constantly took care of us, went above and beyond, even, walked me around the block to make sure I knew where the parking area was. Outstanding service.
Great stay at Hotel do Chiado. Everything was spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. The staff was helpful and friendly. The view over Lisbon from the rooftop was unbeatable. We would definitely stay again.
This is a lovely hotel in a great position - the Metro is nearby and there are lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. Room was stunning. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were even provided with a drink on arrival and a surprise bottle of bubbly and cake later that day. The breakfast is good, too. The hotel is in a less touristy area of Lisbon but is so close to everything at the same time.
We had a wonderful time at 1908 Lisboa. We were there twice during our trip for a total of 6 nights. The hotel decor is really nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious with lots of selection. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
From checkin to checkout, the entire staff provided exceptional service and hospitality. The hotel is located in “old town” which provided the perfect landscape as we explored the city of Lisbon as first timers. A special shout out to Catarina. Her bright smile and warm personality made our stay more enjoyable.
We recently stayed at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel and had an incredible experience. The building is old, but the rooms are spacious, and it seems like it used to be a stately hotel. The old elevator is interesting. The hotel had a retro and British feel. The most unforgettable moment was when the receptionist thoughtfully chased after us to bring us umbrellas. Nice bedroom, modern facilities, and comfy beds. The room is not big but the design makes the most of the space for storage and functionality. Superb location with good cafes nearby. Very friendly ad helpful front desk staff.
The towel is old and vintage.  The bathroom facilities are NOT user friendly and old.   NO Tissue box provided in the room.  The breakfast is bad, lack of choices.  Quantities of food is limited provided.  Food quality is so so.

The location is convenient, and the rooms, though small, are cozy. The bathroom is a bit small, as is the toilet. The clothes hanger hooks in the closet are fixed inside and cannot be removed. There are two theaters next to the hotel, and it's just minutes from the train station, making it very convenient to get to Sintra.
I had booked a standard double room with a city view, but I was given a classic room overlooking the courtyard, which was very dark. I was disappointed from the moment I arrived. The rooms and the public areas lived up to my expectations of a heritage hotel. But the bathroom in our room on the top floor has seen its better time and does need touching up.
