The hotel is located quite centrally, 15 to 20 minutes walk from Funchal Marina. If you are tired, a taxi fare back from the marina is around 7 Euros. There are plenty of cafes around. The staff is excellent, they made us a very early breakfast upon check-out. If you are traveling with elderly parents, this is the best.

Would definitely recommend! The suite was great, all as described with a great sea view and a pool; it had everything that was needed, cleaning was regular. The only thing - the doors to the bathroom didn’t close, it wasn’t a big issue for us, but it could be for some.

The property was as described, Bruno was very responsive and tha apartment had everything we needed. Only negative was that housekeeping was advertised as daily when in fact bins were only emptied every 2 days.

You'll have to be very fit to stay at this hotel, steep hill to and from the hotel. No transport provided up to the hotel with all your luggage, we are a retired couple and there was no warning about a steep climb, especially when you're dropped off at the bottom with all your luggage. Hotel itself is nice but wouldn't stay here again because of the very steep climb.

Extended the stay for an extra day as soon as we arrived. Great room with a big bed and great breakfast also.

The indoor pool was closed for renovations and there was construction in the hallway, resulting in a lot of noise from 8 am. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked. The cleaning staff was very friendly. Climbing the 130 steps to reach the hotel at the end of the day was tiring.

We have stayed at Palheiro Village 4 times in the condos. We fell in love with Palheiro upon seeing the view of Funchal from our balcony. Truly unforgettable. The condos are lovely, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The balconies are the highlight with their views. The Golf Club is delightful for drinks and food. Highest possible recommendation!

The hotel's location is pretty good, and they offer a buffet breakfast which we really enjoyed. The beds in the room were comfortable. On the downside, there was an unpleasant smell in the hotel corridors. It seems like there might have been a leak at some point, and the carpets absorbed it, making them hard to replace. This is an elegant, quiet hotel in possibly the best location in Funchal, so convenient for the port, marina and town. We had a junior suite, which was large and comfortable. We had already stayed in Funchal in 2024, and while we enjoyed it, it wasn't at this hotel. This experience was fantastic, with the hotel staff being incredibly attentive. The room was spacious and had a sea view. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Funchal, which we didn't need as we rented a car, but it's definitely a valuable amenity.

With a spectacular view! But the all-inclusive package really isn't worth it. Only for those who want to drink. The food is terrible, the same food on two different days, only one dish varied.
