Location is good and convenient. Just nice for couple but a bit small for group visit.

Good location with clean room.
Bed is a bit old, should change.

Location is perfect. Public transport is at doorstep. Lots of eateries around. 
Unit is clean and comfortable.
Will definitely stay again when I’m there next.

Great stay with my child's of 3. Front desk staffs are helpful and friendly. Just the breakfast might need slight improvement.

The location is good, right opposite of the Bencoolen MRT station. The hotel room is a bit old with a need of a renovation. The room is not kept clean well. I found some kind of a fruit pit on the ground.

Somerset Bencoolen is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Singapore, especially if you prioritize convenience and space. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it, particularly for families or travelers planning a longer trip.
Location, Location, Location :
The single biggest advantage is the location. The hotel is literally steps across the road from the Bencoolen MRT station (Downtown Line), making city navigation incredibly easy. We were also a very short walk from Bras Basah MRT (Circle Line) and Dhoby Ghaut (multiple lines). This central spot puts you within walking distance of the Singapore Art Museum, Bugis Street, and just two stops away from the Orchard Road shopping belt.
Spacious & Practical Serviced Apartment :
The apartments are significantly more spacious than typical Singapore hotel rooms. Having a dedicated living area, a dining space, and a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, stove) was a game-changer. It allowed us to prepare small meals and snacks, which is great for saving money and managing dietary needs. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the efficient air conditioning.
Amenities and Service:
The rooftop pool is a quiet oasis with great city views—perfect for a refreshing dip after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to assist with directions or taxis.
A Small Note:
While the apartment was clean and well-maintained, the property is a bit older, and you might notice some minor wear and tear, but this is a tiny trade-off for the exceptional space and unbeatable location.
Overall:
If you value excellent connectivity, the convenience of a full apartment setup, and friendly service, Somerset Bencoolen is superb value for money in the heart of Singapore's arts and education district. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful experience at Somerset Bencoolen. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable home away from home. The location is unbeatable—right across from Bencoolen MRT Station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Singapore. Additionally, the staff were friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience.

The tub has little stains but it was clean, the location is great, I used the free cotton tips but they didn’t refill it, and normally other hotels do. Then I left my AirPods in my room when I check out and as soon as I notice (near my hotel) I went for them and I was locating them, I was sure it was in the room but they didn’t want to open the room or give me access, until the cleaning lady do the cleaning and if she find them. It was easier to use find my iPhone to find them, I do not know why decline if it’s better for the customer, my phone was sending me alerts and it appeared in one moment that they were out of the case. Hours later when I came back to my baggage they gave it to me (my AirPods).

Great place . Good location and nice roof top pool . 17$ for laundry self service , where you have to do everything plus buy additional detergent and softener is insanely pricy even for Singapore .
